I personally think that the Black haired girl was struggling to think wether if she likes guys or girls since we also say the black haired boy but she started to realize that she was in love with the Pink haired girl but the Pink haired was a spy? See, I figure it's either a girl being forced to be masculine by her family or a guy who wants to be able to do cute things and dress like a girl. (could possibly be trans, who knows? I don't) Or SHE is hiding in plain site in the military by dressing as male for school. Which would explain some of the scenes. On top of that, the two would be the same height and have the same body and facial structure, the only difference being the way they dress, their mannerisms, whether they wear their hair long or dress feminine or masculine. It’s not like it’s super easy for trans people to put on the clothes they want and get perceived the way they want to. Unless you’re talking anime logic, then yes, people can switch genders on a dime because they don’t have to worry about their voice and their features are perfectly androgynous.
My theory is they live in the world that nearly have to face the biggest disaster ever. I, too, don't really understand much about what exactly happened in this mv, but i guess that's exactly what's so good about these kinds of media. they're so open to interpretation, and it's really just an absolute joy to go about and think about what they mean. i also find it quite amazing how different people can come to such radically different conclusions about the same piece of media. just recently, i came across a short analysis of this mv and that person looked at it from a completely different angle to mine. whereas that person put more emphasis on the sexuality part of the mv; thinking of it (pink specifically) as a story of self actualization, i put most of my focus on the destruction; due to japan's very unique experience with catastrophe. though, after some pondering, i started to think that the destruction wasn't literal, rather a metaphor for pink's attempt at masking their masculinity, dissatisfied with it (also shown by the military stuff that isn't so subtly hidden throughout the mv before the war stuff even comes on). and, at the end, when the black haired girl comes up to pink, crying, i looked at it as black giving pink a sign of affirmation that she sees, appreciates and cares for them, despite their dissatisfaction with their masculine side. so i guess it's kind of about accepting all sides of a person when they themselves don't think much about themself. sorry if this was messy, im not the best when it comes to writing.

here is the explanation I read that seems most likely: The beautiful girl she had seen and the pretty boy in class turn out to be the same person. They were likely sent to go to school as an agent were something expected to happen there, similar to what caused the other injury the protagonist saw. With the defense force at the ready for said threat, it sure enough occurred, destroying large parts of the city. With the two evading a laser to temporary safety, the protagonist likely says something that hints or directly expresses her feelings towards the agent. With a kiss on the forehead and look of affirmation, the agent leaves with their coworker to continue the fight. I'm vague about the gender of the agent as they are likely transgender, showing more genuine and comfortable expressions as a girl and serious and slightly somber expressions as a boy. They are only shown appearing male when in class, but also when working out, a process that's restricting to express yourself during. Other theories is that they are male and like to crossdress (though why during combat?), or are genetically female and had to pretend to completely hid their identity... its an LBGTQ+ story line.
1 theory is wrong because why waste time going everywhere "for fun" if is an agent. 2 is possible because but " (though why during combat?)" because he want to do it and no one can't stop him at that point or either the speaking to someone scene no one actuallt care care at all and the clothing can go to war.
My interpretation is that it is a girl that is high ranking in the military because of her weird powers (As shown when she blocks a tank shell) and wants to be more boy-like for school.
I'm glad that we can see the coming war/cataclysm in 1:11 - helicopter in the sky and later - scene with military on the streets. I think in real life we also feel rising tension before war or crisis.
I dont know if I'm stupid or something but I didn't feel like it had weird plot twist, nor an overly complicated story, I'd even say that I felt like the storyline had a smooth flow, yet I still obviously have doubts as Im not the guy that made the MV neither some omniscient being so this is my interpretation, wouldn't be much different from the other interpretations of the MV that I've seen around as there isn't much wiggle room without going too farfetched. Ill call the brown haired girl Aki and the pink haired girl Touka just to make it simpler for me and you the reader Aki is visually intrigued by a charming Black haired guy with a beauty spot near his lips. She later stumbles across a pink haired girl, Touka, with a similar charm and the same beauty spot near her lip. She speculates that they might be the same person (we can see that in her diary). We can see random scenes where Aki stumbles across Touka or just straight up follows her, she even dreams about her which literally screams to us viewers that Aki is kinda lesbian and likes Touka. We can see Touka transitioning from male to female, female to male pretty often, from class as a male to female in the festival, male in gym, female during a random walk, but would definitely say that she ain't trans or something like that. The fact she was talking seriously with some dude in the bar felt like some undercover meeting, it gave spy vibes, the fact that she was transitioning gender constantly, it gave spy vibes. I'd say Touka was basically undercover the whole time, which is later hinted with how confident and comfortable she felt in a chaotic scenery. Idk why being a male at school and being a female around the city was a good idea but maybe to hide her full schedule, idk. Later Touka, in class, was being cheered on for something related to what was written on the board (google translate said its: "Congrats! Special Executive Candidate" idfk what special executive is, but it's something government military related most probably, yet idk why would they announce it just before the military of the country is preparing for a war). At the train scene it simply goes as it is shown on the MV, war starts and it gets dangerous, Aki sees Touka and runs towards her, there might be 3 reasons which are not mutually exclusive to each other for Aki to sprint like that toward Touka: 1 being just a weird mixture of happiness to see her alive during the war and heat of the moment emotions; 2 being some sense of terror that Touka is in danger there in the middle of that chaotic scenario so she runs to move her away; and 3 is that Aki is worried that she wonts see Touka again so she goes to confess. Aki confesses to Touka, and Touka gives Aki an acknowledgement kiss in the forehead leading to the military taking Aki to remove her from the middle of the battleground and finally have Touka having some epic pose at the end. One doubt is that Touka might be in the enemy team or the ally team, no clue on that but she was already comfy in that scenario, shown by how she saved Aki from being blasted and that final power ranger pose. My opinion : The girl with black hair has a crush on the black haired guy , but is scared to confess , the black haired guy disguises himself as a girl for some reason ( I think military reasons ) , the black haired girl sees the pink haired girl and feels that it's the Balck haired guy in disguise and tries to get close to him/her and find out the reality ( which she apparently does as she hugs him at the last ) . At the end the guy sends the black haired girl to safety with a kiss and goes back into the war . Or it could be the other way round the guy could have been a girl all the time and disguises herself as a guy in order to get her education.( Which could have been denied by her family or military to her as she is in some way linked to the military )
My take on the pink haired girl is that she has to disguise herself as a guy to fit in school because school is rigid in its ways. Plus, it also does not attract much attention to her and she can do her job in piece. After all, we do find out she’s working in some sort of military group in the end. I mean, her pink hair would stand out in the school :v Plus, the song might be called Colors for a reason lol. Every is dull in school while in other scenes, it’s very colourful. Here's my take after watching the MV 3 times. Girl A (Black haired girl) was infatuated by the looks of Girl B (Pink haired girl). After looking at her lips for so long, Girl A notices that Girl B has a mole under her lips. During classes, one particular classmate of her stand out and that's the guy who looks similar to Girl B. Fast-forward to a couple of days, Girl A realize that Girl B and the guy may be the same person and that thought haunt her mind so she decided to confess her observation to Girl B and seek confirmation from her, that's why we see her chasing Girl B whenever she sees her. But that opportunity is going to disappear when the guy a.k.a Girl B (the guy is her disguise and imo Girl B is an undercover agent/spy working for the government collecting information) is about to drop school. So when war broke out and she saw Girl B among the crazy shits that's happening, she run toward her and told her observation and at the same time, she confessed her feelings to her. That's why Girl B kissed her. The kiss might indicate that the both of them will meet again and the kiss is like Girl's B promise to Girl A. So even though Girl A is about to lose her shit, she hang on and wait till that faithful day comes.
It's the reverse girl B is a dude, he is a spy going undercover, the ending explains a lot he's not from earth but was sent to infiltrate, the military is in on it too or at least part of it

Idk if anyone will see my comment but here I go. My theory is that this person that our short haired protagonist is following is not really human and the story follows this nonhuman (alien) finding themselves and loving life on the planet. While the protagonist becomes fascinated, developing a crush. The nonhuman being able to change its appearance easily, starts out as a plain looking boy tryna fit in, but as the story progresses they change into a pink haired eccentric person enjoying life. The nonhuman works for the government, they can be seen with a female handler, as the world gets threatened by a unforeseen threat (alien invasion?), the world seems to be prepared, the military gets called up, so does this special individual. This nonhuman doesn’t really get fazed in an active combat zone, the story ends with the pinked hair non human with the soldiers trying to save the world, the nonhuman now knowing what they’re fighting for as seen through out the video. Here’s my reasoning, for the pinked haired person being nonhuman (alien), nonhumans wouldn’t have any understanding or care of human gender so changing wouldn’t be a problem, plus the speed of changing oneself is inhuman looking at the perception of time in the video. The nonhuman was not prepared like the rest of the soldiers unless they aren’t human, so they wouldn’t need anything. So it’s a cute little love story with a non human, which can be seem in many Japanese story, with a modern sci-fi twist. A story about finding oneself something like that, but that’s just a theory.
The black hair girl has a crush on this guy at school, but then one day, she stumbles on a girl that looks exactly like her school crush. And on the scene where they show her notebook is says "the same person?" So she is trying to piece up the puzzle, then eventually figures out they are both the same person. Which is why she started day dreaming of her guy crush actually being the pink hair girl. But instead of moving on, she falls deeper in love. which led her to also stalk the pink hair girl. The pink hair girl is also a spy (which explains the 2 identities). Then the part comes where pink girl's boss tells her the plan will be pushed through, which leads to her guy persona to say their farewells at school, (which is why the other students are clapping and the black hair girl looks sad and shocked.) But that doesn't stop her from stalking the pink hair girl until war breaks lose. Sometimes, I day dream that the pink hair girl always noticed the black hair girl following her around (which explains the forehead kiss at the end). And pink likes her back as well because 1. She doesn't mind it and 2. Come on... how can a trained spy not notice a high school girl following them around 😂

I feel like the story is about a girl(who I'm gonna name Chairo) who falls in love with a black-haired boy at school but is too scared to talk to him. Later, long after they graduate from school, she sees the student again, except this time they have transitioned and are a girl. Her name is Momo, and Chairo is just as much in love with her as she was in high school, but she's too scared to talk to her(bi panic lol) so she basically conveniently runs into her in the neighborhood practically all the time. I also think she tries to dress in ways she knows will impress Momo if she ever sees her on the street lol. What she doesn't know however is that Momo is secretly a spy for the Japanese government and that they are trying to stop terrorists(or aliens, idfk) from blowing up Japan. She sees Momo in the midst of the chaos and the two run into each other and try to protect each other from all the explosions, with Chairo confessing her feelings for Momo. Momo returns her affections with a kiss on the forehead and gets soldiers to escort her to safety, with the promise that she and Chairo will see each other again, even though Chairo is worried, scared, and traumatized. And the ending is a cliffhanger I presume. That's my interpretation. It would make a really nice sci-fi yuri series imo, with Momo being a trans lesbian and Chairo being bi.

From what i could find in the Japanese writer and other cules such as the mole near there lips and other features it seems that the black haired girl in the video is introduced to a new student in her class who is a boy and when she has a walk with her friends in the first scene she noticed the girl with pink hair looked a lot like a new boy in her class and when she is in her room we can see a notebook with a sketch of the boy and the girl which says are they the same person and she follows her and trust to figure out if they are the same person and ends up falling in love with her but is still confused on who she is and towards the end when she is in the train the signal boards turn red and say that they are in a sudden stop bc of danger and to evaluate quickly and when she sees the pink hard girl in the moment of desperation and hope she confused her love to her and we can see her get a kiss if her head and in the end it is shown that the girl is with the people who attached and she is saved I think he might be undercover as a girl bc of the scene in 1:50 but ya Also sorry for bad English in advance

Girl sees pink hair while waiting for a train, gets a crush on her, and she starts to notice the similarities to one of her classmates who's a guy. We see pink hair talking to a guy while looking serious(I assume this is a goverment/military person informing that hes gonna get drafted), next scene the boy is standing in front and the teacher and classmates are congratulating him for being drafted in the military(its written on the blackboard). At the train the girl notices pink hair hands are covered in bandages(possibly from military training) and they get attacked by something, city is in ruins and girl sees pink hair and says something while crying(maybe she confessed or something) so pink hair kisses her in the forehead and starts walking toward the soldiers so he could help fight whatever the fuck the enemies are. That was the most probable theory I could think of.

I don't think the war scene at the end was literal, perhaps it was metephorical. Symbolized her life being destroyed. She finally confesses and the fireworks symbolize the release of the burden she had been carrying. I have no clue honestly, that's my best guess.
Might be a bit far fetched but my theory is that this animation is set in the Spy x Family universe and the girl with the pink hair is a grown up Anya from the show, the show is also made by Toho and it'd make alot of sense as at the end of the animation it shows the pink haired girl leaving in a helicopter during a conflict in the city and we also see the pink haired girl having black hair in school possibly meaning shes undercover and disguised as a classmate, maybe Anya grew up and became a Spy walking in the footsteps of her adoptive after Loid Forger

My interpretation of this is that she meets two students the girl and the boy she realizes that she is bi and can’t pick which to confess to. Lmao okay so there’s like one line of text in Japanese that makes it a lot clearer. The femboy (unclear?) gets drafted into the military later into the MV. It’s the scene where everyone is clapping and the main girl is just in like shock, the chalkboard pretty much says “congrats on being drafted!”. So there’s an implication some major war is going on. I think she follows him on the train on his way to join the military when their city is attacked. She confesses her love and obsession and he comforts her before going off to war.

My theory is that this person that our short haired protagonist is following is not really human and the story follows this nonhuman (alien) finding themselves and loving life on the planet. While the protagonist becomes fascinated, developing a crush. The nonhuman being able to change its appearance easily, starts out as a plain looking boy tryna fit in, but as the story progresses they change into a pink haired eccentric person enjoying life. The nonhuman works for the government, they can be seen with a female handler, as the world gets threatened by a unforeseen threat (alien invasion?), the world seems to be prepared, the military gets called up, so does this special individual. This nonhuman doesn’t really get fazed in an active combat zone, the story ends with the pinked hair non human with the soldiers trying to save the world, the nonhuman now knowing what they’re fighting for as seen through out the video. Here’s my reasoning, for the pinked haired person being nonhuman (alien), nonhumans wouldn’t have any understanding or care of human gender so changing wouldn’t be a problem, plus the speed of changing oneself is inhuman looking at the perception of time in the video. The nonhuman was not prepared like the rest of the soldiers unless they aren’t human, so they wouldn’t need anything. So it’s a cute little love story with a non human, which can be seem in many Japanese story, with a modern sci-fi twist. A story about finding oneself something like that, but that’s just a theory.
Forget the Girl B is feminine/trans and Girl A has a crush on Girl B explanation, I need an explanation on the ending cause it made me cry. Maybe it's because of current events but that scene reminded me of the innocent Ukraine teenagers who are trying to live their high school days only to one day be involved in a war. The confusion, the destruction, the fear of what will happen next and if there even will be a tomorrow, you can see it in Girl A when she confesses which in my opinion was a love confession. I'm curious to know Girl B's involvement in the army. Girl B clearly cares about Girl A and I hope the war doesn't separate them, I want them to see each other again.

Here is my interpretation: the girl with pink hair is most probably trans, as her expressions are so much more genuine when as a girl than when they are as a guy. the girl with black hair most probably figures out she is trans and also develops a crush on her. from early on in the mv we can see the girl with pink hair meeting a guy, im going to assume this is a government official and they were discussing about the attack(from someone else) that was going to take place. then we also see the classroom scene, where its written on the blackboard is japanese for "Congratulations. selected by the army"(something like that). the girl with black hair is saddened/surprised(you can tell by her expression). conveniently she keeps running into her. the scene from the train happens now, which is probably the attack they were discussing about. very scared with the possibility of never being able to meet her again, the girl with black hair goes on to confess/say something to the girl with pink hair. the girl with pink hair acknowledges her and kisses her after which the army take away the girl with black hair to safety, and the girl with pink hair goes to fight(?)

My explanation based on experience. I don't think she's bi. And it's not crossdressing. She likes this guy. Observes him from a distance but is too scared. She she's this woman that she's enamored by, not because she likes her romantically, but adores her person. I used to think I was bi because I use to see girls who were beautiful or put effort into their hair, outfit and make up and would just look at them in awe. But it was more so me realizing that I wanted to be that girl. I wanted to be the one to love how I looked, what I wore, I wanted to be beautiful in my own eyes. I still appreciate women but I now understand where it stems from. In the end, she doesn't get the boy because she was too focused on wanting to be the girl she thinks he'd like, and she confused (symbolized by the war) and she's trying to figure out what she wants. I, too, don't really understand much about what exactly happened in this mv, but i guess that's exactly what's so good about these kinds of media. they're so open to interpretation, and it's really just an absolute joy to go about and think about what they mean. i also find it quite amazing how different people can come to such radically different conclusions about the same piece of media.
just recently, i came across a short analysis of this mv and that person looked at it from a completely different angle to mine. whereas that person put more emphasis on the sexuality part of the mv; thinking of it (pink specifically) as a story of self actualization, i put most of my focus on the destruction; due to japan's very unique experience with catastrophe. though, after some pondering, i started to think that the destruction wasn't literal, rather a metaphor for pink's attempt at masking their masculinity, dissatisfied with it (also shown by the military stuff that isn't so subtly hidden throughout the mv before the war stuff even comes on).
and, at the end, when the black haired girl comes up to pink, crying, i looked at it as black giving pink a sign of affirmation that she sees, appreciates and cares for them, despite their dissatisfaction with their masculine side.
so i guess it's kind of about accepting all sides of a person when they themselves don't think much about themself.

Yes. I thought "reverse trap" immediately as I am kinda good at spotting when a girl character pretends to be a boy. The face alone, I doubted the character is male....
here is the explanation I read that seems most likely: The beautiful girl she had seen and the pretty boy in class turn out to be the same person. They were likely sent to go to school as an agent were something expected to happen there, similar to what caused the other injury the protagonist saw. With the defense force at the ready for said threat, it sure enough occurred, destroying large parts of the city. With the two evading a laser to temporary safety, the protagonist likely says something that hints or directly expresses her feelings towards the agent. With a kiss on the forehead and look of affirmation, the agent leaves with their coworker to continue the fight.
I'm vague about the gender of the agent as they are likely transgender, showing more genuine and comfortable expressions as a girl and serious and slightly somber expressions as a boy. They are only shown appearing male when in class, but also when working out, a process that's restricting to express yourself during. Other theories is that they are male and like to crossdress (though why during combat?), or are genetically female and had to pretend to completely hid their identity... its an LBGTQ+ story line.
1 theory is wrong because why waste time going everywhere "for fun" if is an agent. 2 is possible because but " (though why during combat?)" because he want to do it and no one can't stop him at that point or either the speaking to someone scene no one actuallt care care at all and the clothing can go to war.
My interpretation is that it is a girl that is high ranking in the military because of her weird powers (As shown when she blocks a tank shell) and wants to be more boy-like for school.

I dont know if I'm stupid or something but I didn't feel like it had weird plot twist, nor an overly complicated story, I'd even say that I felt like the storyline had a smooth flow, yet I still obviously have doubts as Im not the guy that made the MV neither some omniscient being so this is my interpretation, wouldn't be much different from the other interpretations of the MV that I've seen around as there isn't much wiggle room without going too farfetched.
Ill call the brown haired girl Aki and the pink haired girl Touka just to make it simpler for me and you the reader
Aki is visually intrigued by a charming Black haired guy with a beauty spot near his lips. She later stumbles across a pink haired girl, Touka, with a similar charm and the same beauty spot near her lip. She speculates that they might be the same person (we can see that in her diary).
We can see random scenes where Aki stumbles across Touka or just straight up follows her, she even dreams about her which literally screams to us viewers that Aki is kinda lesbian and likes Touka.
We can see Touka transitioning from male to female, female to male pretty often, from class as a male to female in the festival, male in gym, female during a random walk, but would definitely say that she ain't trans or something like that. The fact she was talking seriously with some dude in the bar felt like some undercover meeting, it gave spy vibes, the fact that she was transitioning gender constantly, it gave spy vibes. I'd say Touka was basically undercover the whole time, which is later hinted with how confident and comfortable she felt in a chaotic scenery. Idk why being a male at school and being a female around the city was a good idea but maybe to hide her full schedule, idk.
Later Touka, in class, was being cheered on for something related to what was written on the board (google translate said its: "Congrats! Special Executive Candidate" idfk what special executive is, but it's something government military related most probably, yet idk why would they announce it just before the military of the country is preparing for a war).
At the train scene it simply goes as it is shown on the MV, war starts and it gets dangerous, Aki sees Touka and runs towards her, there might be 3 reasons which are not mutually exclusive to each other for Aki to sprint like that toward Touka: 1 being just a weird mixture of happiness to see her alive during the war and heat of the moment emotions; 2 being some sense of terror that Touka is in danger there in the middle of that chaotic scenario so she runs to move her away; and 3 is that Aki is worried that she wonts see Touka again so she goes to confess.
Aki confesses to Touka, and Touka gives Aki an acknowledgement kiss in the forehead leading to the military taking Aki to remove her from the middle of the battleground and finally have Touka having some epic pose at the end.
One doubt is that Touka might be in the enemy team or the ally team, no clue on that but she was already comfy in that scenario, shown by how she saved Aki from being blasted and that final power ranger pose.

The girl with black hair has a crush on the black haired guy , but is scared to confess , the black haired guy disguises himself as a girl for some reason ( I think military reasons ) , the black haired girl sees the pink haired girl and feels that it's the Balck haired guy in disguise and tries to get close to him/her and find out the reality ( which she apparently does as she hugs him at the last ) . At the end the guy sends the black haired girl to safety with a kiss and goes back into the war .
Or it could be the other way round the guy could have been a girl all the time and disguises herself as a guy in order to get her education.( Which could have been denied by her family or military to her as she is in some way linked to the military )
My take on the pink haired girl is that she has to disguise herself as a guy to fit in school because school is rigid in its ways. Plus, it also does not attract much attention to her and she can do her job in piece. After all, we do find out she’s working in some sort of military group in the end. I mean, her pink hair would stand out in the school :v Plus, the song might be called Colors for a reason lol. Every is dull in school while in other scenes, it’s very colourful. Here's my take after watching the MV 3 times. Girl A (Black haired girl) was infatuated by the looks of Girl B (Pink haired girl). After looking at her lips for so long, Girl A notices that Girl B has a mole under her lips. During classes, one particular classmate of her stand out and that's the guy who looks similar to Girl B. Fast-forward to a couple of days, Girl A realize that Girl B and the guy may be the same person and that thought haunt her mind so she decided to confess her observation to Girl B and seek confirmation from her, that's why we see her chasing Girl B whenever she sees her. But that opportunity is going to disappear when the guy a.k.a Girl B (the guy is her disguise and imo Girl B is an undercover agent/spy working for the government collecting information) is about to drop school. So when war broke out and she saw Girl B among the crazy shits that's happening, she run toward her and told her observation and at the same time, she confessed her feelings to her. That's why Girl B kissed her. The kiss might indicate that the both of them will meet again and the kiss is like Girl's B promise to Girl A. So even though Girl A is about to lose her shit, she hang on and wait till that faithful day comes.

It's the reverse girl B is a dude, he is a spy going undercover, the ending explains a lot he's not from earth but was sent to infiltrate, the military is in on it too or at least part of it

Idk if anyone will see my comment but here I go. My theory is that this person that our short haired protagonist is following is not really human and the story follows this nonhuman (alien) finding themselves and loving life on the planet. While the protagonist becomes fascinated, developing a crush. The nonhuman being able to change its appearance easily, starts out as a plain looking boy tryna fit in, but as the story progresses they change into a pink haired eccentric person enjoying life. The nonhuman works for the government, they can be seen with a female handler, as the world gets threatened by a unforeseen threat (alien invasion?), the world seems to be prepared, the military gets called up, so does this special individual. This nonhuman doesn’t really get fazed in an active combat zone, the story ends with the pinked hair non human with the soldiers trying to save the world, the nonhuman now knowing what they’re fighting for as seen through out the video. Here’s my reasoning, for the pinked haired person being nonhuman (alien), nonhumans wouldn’t have any understanding or care of human gender so changing wouldn’t be a problem, plus the speed of changing oneself is inhuman looking at the perception of time in the video. The nonhuman was not prepared like the rest of the soldiers unless they aren’t human, so they wouldn’t need anything. So it’s a cute little love story with a non human, which can be seem in many Japanese story, with a modern sci-fi twist. A story about finding oneself something like that, but that’s just a theory.
The black hair girl has a crush on this guy at school, but then one day, she stumbles on a girl that looks exactly like her school crush.
And on the scene where they show her notebook is says "the same person?" So she is trying to piece up the puzzle, then eventually figures out they are both the same person. Which is why she started day dreaming of her guy crush actually being the pink hair girl. But instead of moving on, she falls deeper in love. which led her to also stalk the pink hair girl.
The pink hair girl is also a spy (which explains the 2 identities).
Then the part comes where pink girl's boss tells her the plan will be pushed through, which leads to her guy persona to say their farewells at school, (which is why the other students are clapping and the black hair girl looks sad and shocked.)
But that doesn't stop her from stalking the pink hair girl until war breaks lose.
Sometimes, I day dream that the pink hair girl always noticed the black hair girl following her around (which explains the forehead kiss at the end). And pink likes her back as well because 1. She doesn't mind it and 2. Come on... how can a trained spy not notice a high school girl following them around 😂

I feel like the story is about a girl(who I'm gonna name Chairo) who falls in love with a black-haired boy at school but is too scared to talk to him. Later, long after they graduate from school, she sees the student again, except this time they have transitioned and are a girl. Her name is Momo, and Chairo is just as much in love with her as she was in high school, but she's too scared to talk to her(bi panic lol) so she basically conveniently runs into her in the neighborhood practically all the time. I also think she tries to dress in ways she knows will impress Momo if she ever sees her on the street lol. What she doesn't know however is that Momo is secretly a spy for the Japanese government and that they are trying to stop terrorists(or aliens, idfk) from blowing up Japan. She sees Momo in the midst of the chaos and the two run into each other and try to protect each other from all the explosions, with Chairo confessing her feelings for Momo. Momo returns her affections with a kiss on the forehead and gets soldiers to escort her to safety, with the promise that she and Chairo will see each other again, even though Chairo is worried, scared, and traumatized. And the ending is a cliffhanger I presume. That's my interpretation. It would make a really nice sci-fi yuri series imo, with Momo being a trans lesbian and Chairo being bi.
Wow....well I guess that little scene in the mirror she was trying to dress nice. For if she finally sees her again she can say her true feelings she had back when she was first introduced in school. But I guess the world had to burn to really say her true feelings/ have courage.... really nice interpretation on what the story is telling you!!!!

From what i could find in the Japanese writer and other cules such as the mole near there lips and other features it seems that the black haired girl in the video is introduced to a new student in her class who is a boy and when she has a walk with her friends in the first scene she noticed the girl with pink hair looked a lot like a new boy in her class and when she is in her room we can see a notebook with a sketch of the boy and the girl which says are they the same person and she follows her and trust to figure out if they are the same person and ends up falling in love with her but is still confused on who she is and towards the end when she is in the train the signal boards turn red and say that they are in a sudden stop bc of danger and to evaluate quickly and when she sees the pink hard girl in the moment of desperation and hope she confused her love to her and we can see her get a kiss if her head and in the end it is shown that the girl is with the people who attached and she is saved

Ps this is what i could find from working in editing/animating in companys for year's so it might not be accurate but close
Girl sees pink hair while waiting for a train, gets a crush on her, and she starts to notice the similarities to one of her classmates who's a guy. We see pink hair talking to a guy while looking serious(I assume this is a goverment/military person informing that hes gonna get drafted), next scene the boy is standing in front and the teacher and classmates are congratulating him for being drafted in the military(its written on the blackboard). At the train the girl notices pink hair hands are covered in bandages(possibly from military training) and they get attacked by something, city is in ruins and girl sees pink hair and says something while crying(maybe she confessed or something) so pink hair kisses her in the forehead and starts walking toward the soldiers so he could help fight whatever the fuck the enemies are.
That was the most probable theory I could think of.
At first I thought that the girl could just magically transform into a guy and other way around and that other girl was just there to witness it.

I don't think the war scene at the end was literal, perhaps it was metephorical. Symbolized her life being destroyed. She finally confesses and the fireworks symbolize the release of the burden she had been carrying. I have no clue honestly, that's my best guess.
Might be a bit far fetched but my theory is that this animation is set in the Spy x Family universe and the girl with the pink hair is a grown up Anya from the show, the show is also made by Toho and it'd make alot of sense as at the end of the animation it shows the pink haired girl leaving in a helicopter during a conflict in the city and we also see the pink haired girl having black hair in school possibly meaning shes undercover and disguised as a classmate, maybe Anya grew up and became a Spy walking in the footsteps of her adoptive after Loid Forger

My interpretation of this is that she meets two students the girl and the boy she realizes that she is bi and can’t pick which to confess to. She then eventually falls in love with the girl but because of the war they were separated since the girl she was in love with was a military officer most likely trying to see if there were spies or a daughter of a military family and was trained while young

Maybe it's because of current events but that scene reminded me of the innocent Ukraine teenagers who are trying to live their high school days only to one day be involved in a war. The confusion, the destruction, the fear of what will happen next and if there even will be a tomorrow, you can see it in Girl A when she confesses which in my opinion was a love confession. I'm curious to know Girl B's involvement in the army. Girl B clearly cares about Girl A and I hope the war doesn't separate them, I want them to see each other again.

Here is my interpretation: the girl with pink hair is most probably trans, as her expressions are so much more genuine when as a girl than when they are as a guy. the girl with black hair most probably figures out she is trans and also develops a crush on her. from early on in the mv we can see the girl with pink hair meeting a guy, im going to assume this is a government official and they were discussing about the attack(from someone else) that was going to take place. then we also see the classroom scene, where its written on the blackboard is japanese for "Congratulations. selected by the army"(something like that). the girl with black hair is saddened/surprised(you can tell by her expression). conveniently she keeps running into her. the scene from the train happens now, which is probably the attack they were discussing about. very scared with the possibility of never being able to meet her again, the girl with black hair goes on to confess/say something to the girl with pink hair. the girl with pink hair acknowledges her and kisses her after which the army take away the girl with black hair to safety, and the girl with pink hair goes to fight(?)

My explanation based on experience. I don't think she's bi. And it's not crossdressing. She likes this guy. Observes him from a distance but is too scared. She she's this woman that she's enamored by, not because she likes her romantically, but adores her person. I used to think I was bi because I use to see girls who were beautiful or put effort into their hair, outfit and make up and would just look at them in awe. But it was more so me realizing that I wanted to be that girl. I wanted to be the one to love how I looked, what I wore, I wanted to be beautiful in my own eyes. I still appreciate women but I now understand where it stems from.
In the end, she doesn't get the boy because she was too focused on wanting to be the girl she thinks he'd like, and she confused (symbolized by the war) and she's trying to figure out what she wants. She meets the girl again and the kiss represents coming to terms with being you. It's fine. And she's bewildered yet understanding. As the girl walks away, it's the ending of a fascination and leaving her with herself. The threat is averted. It's okay. But it's now time to figure it out.
