This is really powerful especially because Jordan bell won a ring with GS and Theo pinson can flat out play too. Goes to show you how many levels there are to making it in the league and how much of a business it is
Keep up the great work guys. ✊🏽
hahhaa they are ass bro g league..bench players overseas
How are you gonna get paid? Of course it's a business
these guys are just not good lmfao stop gaslighting their shortcomings with politics. no team is going to purposefully make themselves worse
@@markybrickenmort8142🤔🧐…Sam Hinkie - Trust the process 🤷🏾♂️
@@awsommeDJ theyre not bench players overseas
What sucks is that at the time it was on Steph, Klay, Dray, KD, Iggy, Livingston to help these young guys. But we were so caught up in just winning. To the point where even now we struggle getting the young guys integrated into the system
People really don't know what these players go through and deal with, which is why I love the conversations like this and I watch what I say. I'm not the type to get online and bash players. They are human just like us and having money doesn't mean that they don't go through things
He found out what happens to 6’7 guys who can’t shoot lmao. No politics in that brother.
Lmao
True, but, it's kinda not his fault he doesn't have NBA SF skill level. He definitely had a lot of maturity issues, but to not even pick up basketball until he was in high school and still make the NBA is really amazing. That's not a top 1% basketball player at that point, that's a top like .01%. If he'd played basketball seriously from the time he was a kid he'd basically have had an extra decade to work on his skills-and because he'd have just been so dominant athletically, he would have been good enough to be able to really develop his skills in games because his teams would have given him as much usage as he wanted.
A decade of development is just too much to overcome, and now he's no longer young so it becomes a lot harder to get an NBA team to give him a chance. He can still make a career out of it professionally, and that's cool too.
Yeah without a functional shooting touch your chances for sticking are slim to none
Unless u can do everything else at a pretty high level and even then u gotta be able to shoot a little
Is that all you grasp from this? Some people are just awful. You are awful
@@elonmusk1838 no I also noticed him talking to a 6’5 guy who couldn’t shoot lmao
Love the open discussion here guys. Really heartfelt and true for all walks of life -- Basketball or no.
Good stuff! Much love
I thought Jordan Bell was the next Draymond but with bounce
as a Warriors fan, I have never thought that was a possibility
They should have kept him n got rid of draymond he brought more to the table than draymond
I think what’s so hard is how short the average NBA career is which really puts the pressure to maximize the time that you’re able to play in the league. Most jobs you have down periods where you might struggle or not the most productive but for the NBA, that down period could be the end and/or reduce the amount of years of your career.
A lot of time their problem is they get too comfortable and think they’re all set. You have to be constantly improving and working on your game! There’s new players every year and some of them are HUNGRY. Your spot can get taken in a second if some young rookie out performs you! I just don’t understand how you get to the league struggling with shooting, 3 years later you still haven’t improved! If you put in the work you’ll get better!
@@cvgodd1432improve all you want, the team can still NOT play you. We see that with the Warriors, Kuminga & Moody have improved while Klay has regressed and they still choose to play others over them. It’s politics at the end of the day
thats why great nba players always advise the young guys every draft that, "the work is just getting started"
I feel i see players playing garbage time harder than regular time
The Warriors knew they had a problem back then. He was acquired to replace Draymond Green. It just didn’t work out.
Same with Poole, McCaw, etc.
Sounds like the same stuff Kerr told Moses moody this year.
And us fans dont realize all this. We crack stupid jokes not knowing what these players really going through.
Gilbert Arenas just explained depression for a NBA player on podcast P and it hits the nail on the head the way he is explaining it right now
Facts, it’s very interesting to hear them both speak of similar situations with completely different responses
Is there a link with just them talking about this topic?
mdma is legalizing globally this august because it’s scientifically proven to cure treatment resistant ptsd and other mental disorders
He won a championship as a rookie. Thought he was the shit. Same thing is happening to poole
McCaw too
Lmao the down side of the KD warrior teams is they mad a lot of these dude look better than they actually are
It is a lot of lessons that he shared that can be applied to life outside of basketball
If you ain’t a star in the nba u out the league in 3 years or less
He see it isn’t what it seems vs not being in that situation he was always on the outside looking in especially when he was on Golden state . It’s good to see he got his mind right..
Love that this generation is recognizing mental health.
Sounds like he’s sad because of bad decisions he made. That’s not mental health issues that’s just life. So many guys today half arse it and when they realise they’ll have to work a normal job their entire life, never get that house and car or that girl/guy they dreamt of they blame it on the depression they feel for screwing up when in actually it’s because they screwed up that they feel sad.
I played ball at the rec with JB at U of O. He was the coolest guy. I was a fly on the wall in a game where there was some good players on the court and he threw me the ball and said go get it. I took my guy to the hole and finished the lay up, and he gave me a high five. Ill never forget it. So surreal to see him play on a championship team in the warriors so shortly after. I was always rooting for him, great teammate, person and hooper. Very cool to hear him talk so openly about his experiences. I also played with dillon brooks, thats a different story tho haha.
Very candid conversation and cool to hear.
I wish Jordan Bell good luck. I hope he continues to work on himself and never gives up
This is one of my favorite videos simply because of his honesty.
He basically thought he made it before he got his next contract. He said it himself. No BS excuses. He is blatantly telling us all what happened. A reminder to stay humble no matter what you think you have achieved because it can all be taken away.
He said he missed a flight but it wasn't his fault...man what!? 🤔💭
There are unforeseen circumstances outside our control lol. I’m also assuming he didn’t just oversleep or plan out the arrival time poorly. However, due to his reputation and caliber as a player he wouldn’t get that “let it slide” treatment.
@@superbiaant sounds good until you read this bub:
The Warriors let Bell walk after two seasons largely because his contributions, on and off the court, were not commensurate with the maintenance he required. He wasn't ready to be an NBA professional, and his immaturity led to issues requiring discipline
Mic drop 🤔💭
This channel got potential

You snapped on Steve kerr you've never seen anyone do that.
The first step is making the league and the second step is staying in the league.
I saw him Kick, Spit and Curse a photographer after he fell on him at Stanford. Treated the man like dirt, I was the photographer right next to the guy he treated so poorly. Jordan had to be restrained by his teammates, and the refs it was so bad. I knew right then he was a HEAD CASE. But glad he has matured I’m sure he will be a better person moving forward
I swear photographers don’t get out the way
When your below mid you get passed around like a blunt it is what it is
Id love to see jb with the warriors now
Besides KD, no one has had success after receiving the Warriors BBL contract and leaving for another team. Many are out of the league two years after leaving the Warriors.
Ole Harrison Barnes still role playing
Hearing this guy speak I did not expect him to be this well spoken to be honest man I just believed the narrative of perception I had of him from tv and just wondering why he ain't stay on a team. This whole interview of him just let me know can't judge everyone from a glimpse
Judging books by their cover only exposes your own ignorance, do better 🤝
@@aboutmillions you absolutely right yet I stated my wrong and said this interview helped with my fault in doing that towards him

Haha Pinson was having flashbacks
He kinda looks like Dru from Power Book Ghost
A rookie coming in late to the point that’s what he’s known is just stupid.
Gotta sign them contracts sometimes & not bet on yourself when you’re barely getting time!
Bro went from playing on championship team to the g league that’s work ethic if you ask me
He explained there, if he couldn’t take the vitamins, came late or lift weights… u already know he wasn’t working lol that boy only can dunk and run and that’s it 🤦🏽♂️
@@franklynmcgradycalderon977 He's accountable, which is important, but he probably worked harder than half the players in the NBA. Most of the players you see on a roster are not on the team for their work ethic or skill. If they don't need you, it doesn't matter what you do.
I’m from Oregon and was a fan of his when he was in college but I knew his career wouldn’t last as soon as he threw an oop to himself in a close game.
I think he got cocky with so much success at early age..
Gs drafted Bell to be Draymond protégé unfortunately he never developed an offensive skill set
Its funny how yall are so understanding of certain players but hate other players like they arent doing the same things smh “its tough to make it in the league” then “Why is Haslem still in the league?” “Such and such (with an over 10 year career) is ass” etc fans are fickle as hell
Was that homies voice FORREAL in the yellow hat at the end or was he joking?
LOL

What NBA rookies need to know is been drafted or signed by any team is a privilege. If players treat been on a NBA roster as the goal instead of an opportunity to setup the rest of your working life. You get found out and spat out so fast.
I have seen endless examples of players way more talented and had way more reputable in the league getting spat out and left behind for not being professional and take the opportunity for granted. If say Lebron comes late to work is definitely not the same as Max Christie gets that benefit.
Remember if Curry is late to a flight you best believe the Team is waiting for him to get on the plane. If Bell is late they are not gonna let Steph/Klay/Dray wait on the plane for a few extra minute. Players needs to remember that especially if you are trying get a second deal.
next time he better not buy stuff on a coaches room number
Stupid for being late
That’s crazy . God blesses you with the ability to play a game for millions of dollars and you can’t find motivation to strive to be a true professional. Could have stuck around for years being a glue guy like Jeff Green but couldn’t do the little stuff to get generational wealth .
Man could never play and that’s the truth. Hes was athletic that was his talent.
Bell was so hard on Golden state
The league used to be dominated by small forwards. Now the league is dominated by power forwards and centers who can shoot and dribble. Jordan Bell is 6'7" and he couldn't shoot when entering the league. He still can't shoot now. What exactly does he expect?
He never developed one marketable skill.
Explosive athleticism
@@kevpier9326 that’s not a skill
@@CutTheDeckTVit can be a skill if you know had to use it
There was no growth in his game. Either he didnt work hsrd enough or he had alreadt maxed out his ability.
Vitamins.....lol
I see he didn’t tell y’all what really happened on why the warriors got rid of him lol
Bro got depressed cause he ain’t get that much PT 😂 that’s crazy.
I used to have a mad crush on Jordan Bell when he played for Oregon. So hot.
I was really pulling for Jordan, but he had a lot of mental lapses on floor. NBA is a lot faster with the 24 second shot clock, that mixed in with bell's inability to know what to do with ball, he ended up freezing ball draining 7-8 seconds off clock. that, and his reliant on athleticism. there's TONS of NBA players with no athleticism but play smart and know the game, yet bell kept on relying on his jumping abilities. he bit on so many pump fakes I thought he was gonna bust his head through the roof of Oracle.
Real ones remember the Jordan bell era in golden state, solid player for them who contributed some in their prime
Real ones? It wasn't that long ago.
He didn’t have no “era” gtfo
@@IamJdTrent it was over half a decade ago, lol
@@Biid21still not that long ago. The same people that watched him play in GS are the same people who still hate Kevin Durant. You dont have to be a real one to know of JB

I hope that the guys are hearing you all straight and will not go out here and just have children thinking that they’re going to be in the home with them because if it’s not a solid relationship, then you’ll probably be paying child support which will cause more stress and you won’t be seeing your child every day how you are saying. Dudes will be quick to have a child because that’s what they heard not hearing that you have a fiancé, a lady that you for real about. 🤦♀️
Bro was a horrible pro. Politics and business aint got nothing to do with you standing on business
Yeah this simple u can't he 6'8 and can't shoot somewhat.. hell just be dray level decent at shooting and if you can defend a team got a spot. Simple math bro
who you again trying to think your draymond or klay 😢😢hahaha
This dude is delusional
2k11 he was a dog tho if you know you know 😂

Wow. Way to take the love of the game from a guy for really no reason. To tell him you WONT play him but it’s isn’t because he’s doing anything is so wrong.
Remember when he talk trash to LBJ? well that started the end of his career😂😂😂😂
Warriors failed him he was decent they should’ve have kept him
He can’t shoot
Cry me a River.. getting paid all that money and you cry when they trade you lol. Omg you have to move, how devastating! 😂😂 just appreciate the fact your playing ball for a living!
I hope that’s not how you speak to your kids. They’d have a horrible listener as a parent if that’s the case.
You say that because you worship money. Everybody isn't driven by that
Skill issue
But instead of say “how can I help the team” didn’t occur to you, duh!!!! This story is a normal attitude of youth, this chose to find out the hard way, how taking a blessing for granted bites you inc he butt!!!
