Cady (Lindsay Lohan) is with The Plastics, at Regina’s home (Rachel McAdams). There, she discovers the Burn Book. A book in which the girls have cut out pictures of girls from their yearbook and wrote comments about each of them.

What’s the movie Mean Girls about?
Raised in the African bush country by her zoologist parents, Cady Heron (Lindsay Lohan) thinks she knows about "survival of the fittest." But the law of the jungle takes on a whole new meaning when the home-schooled 15-year-old enters public high school for the first time and falls prey to the psychological warfare and unwritten social rules that teenage girls face today.
Invited to hang out with the most exclusive clique of the school “The Plastics”, she will fall in love with the leader’s Regina George (Rachel McAdams) ex boyfriend Aaron Samuels. Engaging in a tricky double dealing, Cady will progressively become like the rest of the group and lose herself in the process.

One thing I learned from this scene: Regina is actually a really good sister, the two sisters greet each other so cheerfully

I was an Avril Lavigne fan too. She was quite popular during that era.
I was pleasantly surprised & a nice change of pace for the stereotype of a popular, pink-loving, girly blonde Queen Bee.
Was actually expected either Kylie Minogue, Danni Minogue, Paris Hilton, Britney Spears, Christina Aguliera, Jessica Simpson, Mandy Moore, Girls Aloud, Atomic Kitten, Mya, Holly Valance, Sugarbabes, The Pussycat Dolls, Steps or Cyndi Lauper to start playing.
@@amylee8969 Actually i was BORN in that era, so i didn’t get a chance to grow up with Avril. But a few years ago in my teen years i was lucky to discover Avril Lavigne, and i’m glad she’s still here making new music.

I have a feeling that regina's mom played the teen pregnancy card and trapped her rich boyfriend into marrying her. Thus she kinda lost that highschool & college experiences thus never grew up behaving like "hi girlfriends"
Plus they should've made a sequel with Kylie George being the new Queen B walking into her sister's footsteps!

I think Regina’s mom had her at a young age, as in when she was a teenager and in high school or a freshman in college.

2:04 If you look closely, Regina's mother never left the room, it's just that the scene is so fast and our subconscious played it so well that if you didn't slow it down, you wouldn't notice.

Okay I know this is a comedy but one thing I didn’t like about this movie is how they portrayed the little sister. I don’t think that kind of thing is funny at all
