Yep, in the old days before that special valve nut holder, my only choice was to loosen the screw enough to adjust the clearance as I tightened the nut. You're correct to wait and go get the tool, especially with more than just a couple of valves. But we did what we had to in those days, didn't have much of a choice,,,lol.
Sorry Honda hand to hand combat got ya. My Pilot had one of the adjusters stuck and I did not have that tool so what I had to do is remove the adjuster completely, wrap the threads in an aluminum can, put it in the vice and work that locknut till it was smooth. Put it back in and then could finish. Lucky for me it was just one. Glad you have a 4, the V6 is a nightmare. Anyway, as much as you spend on fuel I would think you would get a used Prius or Insight for the Ddriver thing. Also a Honda Fit. I miss my Fit, it was a good car. Sold because the spouse did not like a car so close to the ground. Anyway I hope tonight goes well and she goes together easy. Great vid as always! Be well Smoaks!
Shawn, you are a mechanical wizard whether it is motorcycle’s, cars or what have you. The distance you and Kelly travel 5 days a week for work requires an automobile that is more safe for the two of you. I know this is easy for me to say, please upgrade your vehicle. Thank you.
What a bummer Shawn! Well, I'm confident that you will get it knocked out this evening. You and momma stay warm. I'll see y'all tomorrow. God bless, Rob

Can't remember if you've talked about this or not, so when you get the CR-V engine all ship-shape, will you be going thru the engine on the pickup?
As I was watching the goodbye my wife informed me we are forecast to get 6"-8" of snow Thursday to Friday. :(
