This had depth. This man is learned in music affairs, not social media affairs. You can tell he is passionate about the discussion.
He is wise, not discussing anyone and not being personal just facts.
It's not about coming to the podcast and throwing shade and punchlines. Future guests should take notes on maturity and composure.
Mono did us all a favour by agreeing to this interview.
Mono Mukundu needs to be protected at all cost ,he is a national treasure ,the best you ever had on the podcast .💪💪nuff respect Mono.

WE SHOULD CONTINUE HAVING A DISCUSSION ABOUT "FREEDOM FROM RELIGION"
If you want freedom from religion then just go ahead and free yourself from it.

Wise words Sir. Let's embrace our Zimbabwean culture as Tuku said dada nerudzi rwako chimiro chako nedzinza rako pembedza rurimi, pwere dzigotevera 🇿🇼 ❤️
Denny J you actually take time to do your research.... that's awesome! Well done

what a long and good conversation there, he is well collected and good sense of humor ...thank you Mono
I really enjoyed Kanye's interview on Drink Champs, but my top 3 insightful interviews are definitely Kanye,Mono and Shadaya. Podcasts and Chill might have the numbers, but Mono's and Shadaya's content is on another level in terms of insight.
Podcast n Chill has views but the content itself is mostly trash.. It's like Chris Excell n Shadaya..
@@mandlenkosihlazo977 I respectfully agree with the first part of your comment but Shadaya in not trash 98% he writes about proven philosophies and facts,Chris whatever is trash because it’s gossip
@@RhythmReelersafrica It's the same point..The 1st n 2nd part..We saying the same thing.
@@RhythmReelersafrica Shadaya has the potential to be the biggest podcast in Africa and one of the biggest in the world..His content has a global audience..Its such a pity he doesnt know how to make it happen.
correct they woke bro
I can listen to Clive all day long.. He's a wise man.
Me too wena
I love how he always goes back to answering the original question
For the message of the cross is foolishness [absurd and illogical] to those who are perishing and spiritually dead [because they reject it], but to us who are being saved [by God’s grace] it is [the manifestation of] the power of God
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
😂😂😂
They laugh at you but the day is coming where they'll rue this foolishness.
Denny J said Tyla is doing well in a genre that is not South African. That is not true. By definition, Water is "An amapiano song with elements of pop, R&B and Afrobeats." That is her style. Most people don't know she had a big song four years ago named "getting late," and that song together with her new offering "ART" are rooted in Amapiano. In other words, if you take out or modify the log drum in any of her offerings, there is very little left. It is a complement to Amapiano that someone would say it sounds western, afrobeats or pop. 👌🏾
Listen to understand...revisit the interview....she is the 2% he is talking about
@MaryMucheka Wow. So much confidence from someone who doesn't know what they are talking about. How about you listen to understand yourself? Tyla is an Amapiano artist who is thriving in a genre that originated in Gauteng Province South Africa. She IS from Gauteng. Therefore she is not an exception. She is successful because she is original. She is a typical example of "original acts blow up internationally" which is Mono's view to begin with. In your own words, she IS the 98%.
Respect to this General we need more people with this kind of wisdom
I agree with Mono on how intelligent and well articulated these interviewers are.the questioning, pamwe unotoona kuti uyu host anga akuda kutinyepera but aakutya kuti ndinobatwa. You guys are masters of this game🎉🎉
Becky makes the interview balance and you're so good as a team brink Sam, Mono and Shadaya please tino spakwa zvedu
Ukaterera this interview pasina hasha or godo you would understand what Mono is talking here,,,Mono is whole of wisdom,,so Profound
The only problem with this episode was it was too short
Munhu akaipa uyu ..He is on point
Oh my gosh, you have no idea, how this show has helped me, brought me so many unanswered questions, that l had. Listened the entire show from the beginning to the end nonestop and l cant do the same in church!!
"When I first saw the duration of the video, which was 3 hours and 3 minutes, I was initially skeptical that I would be able to watch it all. However, to my surprise, I found myself completely engrossed in the content and even ended up watching the entire video without realizing it. In fact, I enjoyed it so much that I wouldn't mind watching it again!"
Ini ndakapotsa ndakanonoka kubasa watched its live broadcast
You never go wrong with Mono... well informed and very insightful
😂😂😂 i just love this interview this is the best so far for me . This person has to mentor especially musicians he is really good . Has a great sense of humor he need to come back to talk about more things
Sam Mataure and Mono s interviews have become flagships of this show. ❤
Please bring back this guy the way we want shadhaya to be back on this podcast, this two guyz take the trophy
Great interview!
Our elder is very wise and educated and l pray the Lord shines His lights upon him! He is a good man!
Christianity comes with salvation! It's sore purpose is to give us a pass to eternal life. It has nothing to do with physical stuff though in most cases those can come as by-products.
Ukatoona wakufunga kuti Christianity is here to change our economy then you are of no difference to the Jews!
There is God in heaven and if He is there should be system and/or ways to communicate with Him. We should give reverence to Him not to fear Him.
Nice show as always!
Give this man his flowers . Well articulated conversation. Munhu you can choose which takeaways you want .
Great interview, yowe! Curiosity was in over drive. One thing I have learnt in life is musicians who play guitars are extremely intelligent. The codes Mono was describing on creating a sound vibration we call music is just amazing. Thank you great podcast! Great hosts!
He speak once and I here him twice.
One of the people vanopisa in Zimbabwe 🇿🇼. Best interview ever.
The shortest 3hrs i have ever had in my life this interview was the best ever Mr Mono is full of knowledge 💯💯
Honestly twalabam is one of the biggest songs now but most of us don’t even zvinenge zvichitaurwa . So sounding Zimbabwean will literally take us places 👏👏. There is so much power in authenticity, God made it that way literally .
Thanks for the show! I loved the humor used to deliver such powerful nuggets. I was literally laughing at each question, reaction, and Mono's answers. I agree with a lot of things Mono was saying about religion. True, religion is often used to spread fear. God is not an egomaniac who wants people to pray all night just to give them bread. Choosing the soft part of being a man or woman - that was so profound. The mother of Jesus, Mary - after having five children - still being called the Virgin Mary is interesting. But just to share my take on the relevance of the Bible, I think it's best not to take the Bible as a historical book, but as a psychological book that addresses the mind. We can then view each biblical character as representing states of mind that may need to die (negative traits) and the good ones to be resurrected (positive traits) within ourselves.
I have watched every show from episode one but this is the best show ever.. We need vanhu vakaira sa Mudhara Mono mu society. Keep it up dany J. The netx best show will Nash's interview 😂😂😂..
Love you guys
Thank you Boyz Dze tonaz...Mkoma Mono is a treasure!

"Problem yedu maZimbabweans is we hate ourselves" so true
This elder is a genius. He uses his mind and is not just convinced by what is written. He uses logic and is very analytical...
Mono and Shadaya are GOATs on this show.
The Denny J show the best podcast to ever come out of Zimbabwe 💯 no cap, enjoying these interviews. NohatebutZvanaOllahis🚮
this was the most intellectual interview you have done im a huge fan of this channel very eye opening Mono made great points religion inopusisa vanhu hayo ese Christianity that is the biggest mental colonist because all white is pure all that is black associated is evil and we now forced to run away from our roots.

Love the show! You guys always bring insightful conversations and fresh perspectives. I've been thinking, it would be amazing to hear from some talented artists like Jnr Brown or Gze Resilience on your show. Their unique voices and experiences would undoubtedly bring a new wave of energy and inspiration to your audience.
Would you consider inviting them for an episode? I think your listeners would really appreciate their stories, music, and insights. Let me know what you think!
Keep up the fantastic work, and I look forward to hearing from you soon!
I wanted to watch this episode half way but the moment you asked that question about Tantowavie, no way I ain’t finishing it.
This is the best interview by far.... Ndarova a whole 3 hrs dzese Ka1 ndichi spakwa, well done team❤
Im only 23 but i understood this interview more than a 40 year old i now know im not crazy about religion too.....this guy is the number 1
Same, its just a hard topic to discuss with anyone else other than meditate it by yourself because people are emotional. The religions did a good job in the way it puts fear into people when we try and critically analyze it. Hence, if you try let out your opinions vanhu think waheduka whilst its just early awakening... this is the biggest matrix and the biggest good lie because it molds pespective and mentality. Shout out to you, Denny J and Mono the legend.
Real breathe of fresh air. Balanced and Insightful! Thank you Denny and crew, and most of all thank you Mono.
Denny J and your happy fingers akomana!! Thanks guys for the show have me laughing throughout
Mono is a deep thinker and avid researcher. I like the fact yekuti ari open minded and maybe that’s how God will show him chokwadi chaicho chaicho. His views on God and the Bible I disagree with as you cannot separate the two, God and His word. The Bible is a story of love from start to finish about how God made the world and ultimately saved us nekutadza kwedu ikoko. No human is clever enough to coordinate something such as the Bible. Of coz argument yacho haipere saka each must believe zvinoenderana nemoyo wake.
Apart from disagreeing with the Bible bit, I respect Mono as a person and a Zimbabwean.
Well done Denny J show team
I thought this was gonna be the most boring show but I got it wrong I like this guy when he talks about his Zim music industry and how he resolute things to politics and his point of view on Christianity #dennyjshow
Dope interview.....Denny shamwari takudawo Jnr Brown apa that one will be a banger I'm counting on you
One of the elders who can be respected for his approach during a conversation, but actually I have something to add or to correct his religious views. First of all the Bible itself is a black man’s history only that we have forgotten. I will just give few scriptures to support why I’m saying this
Most
High pointing where some of His children were scattered to.
Zephaniah 3:10 From beyond the rivers of Ethiopia my suppliants, even the daughter of my dispersed, shall bring mine offering.
Our forefathers broke His commandments and He was angry with us that’s why we’re at the bottom of the society.
Amos 3:1 Hear this word that the LORD hath spoken against you, O children of Israel, against the whole family which I brought up from the land of Egypt, saying,
Amos 3:2 You only have I known of all the families of the earth: therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities.
We won’t enjoy enjoy most of our mineral resources.
Deuteronomy 28:16 Cursed shalt thou be in the city, and cursed shalt thou be in the field.
Deuteronomy 28:33 The fruit of thy land, and all thy labours, shall a nation which thou knowest not eat up; and thou shalt be only oppressed and crushed alway:
We have forgotten who we are
Jeremiah 17:4 And thou, even thyself, shalt discontinue from thine heritage that I gave thee; and I will cause thee to serve thine enemies in the land which thou knowest not: for ye have kindled a fire in mine anger, which shall burn for ever.
Lastly the people in Israel right now are not the original Israelites that’s why they call themselves Israelis.
Revelation 2:9 I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.
I think I should end here for now
But the bible is actually our true History book
Shalom 👊🏿👊🏿👊🏿
They won't hear what you have to say, they're blinded by earthly wisdom and so in Mono.
This guy really goes into detail on any topic, and his explanations are crystal clear. He does not use emotions to justify his reasoning but uses facts, and for that reason, he would be an amazing addition to the podcast. I really enjoyed this conversation and would love to see more of this. 🔥🔥🔥
I've never seen Denny J so attentive. Elder makaipa!
One of the shortest 3hrs of my entire life 😅I like the fact that he stimulates your mind and critical thinking
Personally I really enjoyed more this one specifically. Thanks for bringing this Living Legend 🫡
Mono is a national treasure. He has my respect that one. Shout out to the hosts as well your questions were on point you represented the viewers well on that side.

This is by far the best episode. For me Shadaya interview has finally been overtaken.
I wish this interview was done entirely with English or had English subtitles. Coz this content deserves a wider reach beyond the Shona and Zimbabwean audience.
Well-done guys
why should it be done in English? Inga Mono wacho arikutoti we should have our own authentic voice, iwe ndoo pauri kudemander English. smh

Immensely enjoyed this. Thanks Becky K for bringing on the show one of the very best celebrated session guitarist in the country. I like the way you and Danny J do not unnecessarily interrupt your guests but give them a platform to articulate their views. The background research you do on your interviewees also helps to make the interview flawless. Mono is a joy to listen to; a modern day Philosopher.
This has to be one of the best episodes so far 🔥
Best episode for me. A mixture of insights, jest, shots and clarity....this man is a national treasure.
