I was driving one day been years ago I had just got this truck, got to the light the alternator died. People drove past me like I was nothing and gave me a go to hell look. This old black man stopped got out helped me push my truck out of the road patted me on my shoulder and said everything would be ok. No one can convince me this man wasn't an angel sent from God.

Congrats. As a fellow 23 year old young man I am going through a similar process. Its always felt like life threw one thing after the other at me and I wasn't paying attention to the most important things in my life. Things I am now becoming grateful for such as a loving family that despite all of my health complications and issues still treated me with love. Taught me how to live in life and keep myself going. I hope to continue in service of God and stay strong and continue changing for the better.

I lived a hell of a life have had brothers go down wrong paths drugs and one being killed in the streets. I decided to leave and not keep doing that path. I moved to a new city was homeless for the first year got a few nice vehicles a home and had a daughter i struggled with alcohol to suppress memories of my brothers death. I been sober a while now and at 31 decided i wanted to go to the Military National Guard because i have full custody of my daughter. I listend to this song a lot during my drinking days just wanting to be a better man for my daughter. Today i feel like im really living and have health relationships with her mother and the people in my life i feel my creator protected me in so many events so i could come into the man i am today.
Happy to hear that God helped you to better your life. I've made my own mistakes where I should've died but I know God has protected me for a purpose as yet unknown to me. I've known people who couldn't turn the corner no matter what and those who did. The effort is worth it in the end, ultimately in heaven. Thank you for your service.

2 weeks ago the love of my life made me realize I had been screwing up. I had been dead 2 1/2 months ago. She gave me CPR till the EMTs arrived. I continued to make the wrong choices. After having a difficult situation 2 weeks ago. I decided to ask God for his guidance, to do his will for me. And in the past 72 hrs, I have had some of the best moments and memories of my life restarted. This song brought me to finally get on my knees and ask for forgiveness.

I’ve always enjoyed this song. However it means more to me than ever before. My wife and i been together 10 years now, since i got out of the marines. We have two sons now, got a cabin in the mountains. In our first year, i was dealing with severe anxiety and anger getting out of the Marines. I was acting like a fool, and one day she called said she didnt think she could be with me anymore. I felt like a knife in my heart, she said she was gonna think about it, talk to her gfs, and call me back. When we got off the phone, i hit my knees and begged god for one more chance. you know I try to be the best wife, mother sister daughter friend everything! I know I'm not perfect... I have had a horrible past with things.. :( I had my daughter young and she changed me for the best and for the good! I try my best to be the best wife but I know I make mistakes ... I have bipolar depression and I can treat my husband like crap :( it's awful.. God is the reason I'm alive today I almost died at birth so did my little girl... born 7 weeks early! she will be 2 next month.. I just want to be the woman everyone likes to see... I feel like I changed cause my terrible past it haunts me!! I need to move on but it's easier said then done :( I just can't thank god enough for what I have and got. ♡♡
