This bird is a classic, I still have mine and she is a gem! Sure, there are more technically advanced drones on the market but the inspire reminds me of the A10 Warthog… she’s old but DEFINITELY gets the job done at a fraction of the cost of other similar drones.

Congrats man! I wouldnt say that the Air 2S cant do anything the other drones in DJI lineup cant though. Normal (8 bit), D-Log (10 bit) or HLG (10 bit), Spotlight 2.0, ActiveTrack 4.0 and Point of Interest 3.0, 5.4K video at 30fps or 4K at 60fps and 150Mbps
I was in the same dead end I could have bought the same inspire 1 for half the price but I preferred to buy the mini 2S is there much less damage during an incident and that it 2 years a DJI Care inspire when you will have one accident with your inspired everything is over

Good video nice and clear good colors, i like the landing gear goes up and the camera can turn just like the H plus, the sticks are backwards! i think you can set it in a app on your phone, $500.00 you got a good deal ,i payed 2K for the H, looks like you need to get a new battery, keep flying, the weather sucks in Ct. one day it snows then rain maybe this weekend i going to fly.

What camera do you have? I had an issue on my X3 with an sd card. I think I had to take the camera off of the inspire… replace the sd… then re-attach the camera.
Congratulations, it's an awesome drone I had one I will tell you this it is vitally important that you do pre-flight checks with that drone check it from top to bottom for any cracks especially around the prop motor where you lock the propeller how I lost my drone I was flying about 300 ft in the air and I lost one of the propellers and It Came Crashing Down luckily it was 6 in the morning and nobody was around I thought I was doing PreFlight checks but it's the things that you can't see readily so make sure you do that and have a great time it's still an excellent drone.👍

My take is that you should have bought the Air 2S because you are risking your X5 camera. The 750 drones plus the 1000 X5 is way more than the Airs 2S. Anyway, this is only my opinion.

Don't know if you'll have the answer for this but I just purchased a inspire with and x5 camera used. And when powering up the drone the gimbal powers up for a second and goes limp after 1 spin. I believe this is a firmware issue. What version of the dji go app do you use and what version firmware is on your remote? Or if you know what may be causing this qny help would be appreciated. Seems most of the inspire community is gone
Nice! I bought a busted up one and rebuilt it in a video on my channel. You might consider getting the updated prop mounts. It's what I did with mine. Those original mounts were known to fail.
I am thinking about the exact same thing.. I would use the drone for still photography most of the time but I want longer lenses and 45/1.8 would be perfect on X5. I guess there may be some problems with batteries etc. though..
I could get one too many times very cheap but it's too big and not pratical to carry arround. It is still an excelent equipment. And with the present Drone rules...
I picked up an Inspire 1 w/ a pro remote, 6 batteries, multi charger, zenmuse x5s & a crystalsky for $1000 last year. Really great quad for chasing cars! My 9" octocopter fpv quad does pretty great too but I have a thing for zenmuse gimbals & I like flying off monitors sometimes & it was so cheap I had to get it 😂 I got a typhoon H w/ realsense & the 4k camera with all accessories, 2 batteries & hella props that had 2 broken arms that I fixed up for 80 bucks! Gotta love FB marketplace 🤣
Interesting video and I am surely with you on buying used. As for learning about this drone, it would have been a lot easier to absorb had it not been for that music. Just my opinion.
Good luck getting extra batteries, the Inspire 1 was discontinued over a year ago so batteries are out of production and it's a supply and demand thing. The remaining new batteries I have seen out there are $400 a piece and above. That's not cost effective especially when you need up to 10 of them, good luck with that. Still a great bird but not cost effective to own anymore...
you were still better off with the air 2s. 100% the inspire is a liability to even operate. thats back in the days of fly offs, and crashes, and flight software failure.
And for that price you got a drone with significantly, worse flight time, much louder, no obstacle avoidance, no AirSense, not smart RC capability, MUCH worse range, and is huge, bulky, and not very transportable, amongst a whole bunch of other yesteryear's tech.
I really don't appreciate the misleading title. You didn't get an Inspire 1 for half the price of an Air 2S. It didn't include the camera. You got an Inspire 1 with a camera for $1,750. Which isn't a terrible deal, but you spend $750 more than the Air 2S and have a much less portable drone with video quality that isn't that much better.
It is an honest title... I did get an Inspire 1 for $750... I almost bought one with a zenmuse x3 the week before for $550, so they are out there. Good luck on your search and thanks for watching.
Batteries/flightime are the only big downside for the model, in my humble opinion. The touchiness you mentioned is very tameable. I'd advise to never fly under 95% charged batterie, the heavy bird demands a lot from them and I would not go as low as 30% too, trying to preserve life and avoid a potencially terrible failure😬 As you already said, the inspire 1 is old but you can have a versatile camera in a speedy and wind resistant drone. I hope you like and enjoy the machine. I'm the happy owner of an Inspire 1 Pro X5R and cay say that it's a very sturdy machine too. Be careful and have fun 😁👍🏼
Did DJI Daisy actually say "Oh yes, daddy, charge me up." lol WTF? You should be able to change the speed/sensitivity and mode in the app. You're looking to change the sticks to "mode 2", which is the standard way for throttle on the left.
Ha... I have my phone programed to say that when I connect the charger... I think the cable he sold me has been worn a bit... Thanks for the advice... The controller was set to Mode 1.
Thanks for watching. This was over 2 years ago, so I am not sure why you are just now seeing it. I have had so much fun with the Inspire 1 and now I have the Inspire 2. My reason for buying the Inspires it to lift other cameras... like the Insta360 Pro and 1-inch 360 RS cameras. The Air 2s has the Sphere attachment that is great, but does not compare. I would say the DJI Mavic 3 Classic has the best camera currently on a folding drone with the Micro 4/3 sensor. The camera on the Air 2s is mid with the 1-inch sensor, but did you notice that I put a Micro 4/3 lens on this bird... That is outdated as you say???
@@shawnfoxhorn ya these things loose signal at 1200 feet and get about 16 minutes of flight. What good r they? I can bet money you cant tell a difference between a inspire 1 and a mavic 3 in a blind test.

I played with both and the mavic did not impress me for the price. I went with the air 3. I will get a mavic 3 when the price cuts in half. The occusync 4 sold me. It's wild. I've taken this thing 4 miles already and still had 80 percent battery left with full strength.

I had the same issue, it does this when there is an issue with the battery.

Also... the camera was not $1,000 by itself... it came with an Osmo grip, 4 batteries, extra lens and tons of accessories.
