So far the best, most direct and most detailed video comparison I've seen on YT. I've had my Air 2S for about one-and-a-half years and the Air 3 looks tempting. Advanced active-tracking, way-points, vertical framing, 360 obstacle avoidance, and the double camera are all important upgrades from my perspective. Thank you for comparing the noise levels. I'm pleasantly surprised the noise levels compare favorably. Thanks for sharing.

Good comparison of these drones. The new Air 3 is one of my favorite drones, but the older Air 2s still has plenty of life in it. The 3x tele lens is the killer feature on the new Air 3. Thanks for sharing.

Great comparison, I loved it. About the Air 3 sensor, each of 12 MP is not divided into 4 to produce 48 MP photos, this is the other way. 4 pixels (photosites actually) are used to produce 1 pixel (48/4=12). And yes the dynamic range is crazy, thanks to stacked design.
never judge the sensor on the air 3 because the air 3 has a stack sensor rather than the air 2s has back illuminated sensor so the air 3 has better low light than air 2s
I feel like this was a bit unfair. The Air 3 was designed and improved upon the Air 2S's shortcomings. Nevertheless, a very well put together, very informative video. Thanks!
@@peacefulthrillseeker No, DJI has in the answer to an questions from a user in the official help center, said that this ist a mistake from DJI. When they introduced the Air2S they don't know the differences between D-Log and D-Log m
@@Dronfotographer I just tested it out now and they did change it to DLOG-M terrible how it looks now. I said it for a while that DJI screwed up when they made the Air2s because it looked better than the original Mavic 3 which came out six months after the Air2s. So this is their way of dumbing down their mistake and they wont make that mistake again with the Air3S and upcoming Mavic 4. We need more competition because DJI is becoming the Apple of drones.
@@Dronfotographer now if you don’t believe me then answer me this, why Didn’t DJI give the Air 3 a smaller more “advanced” sensor? That same sensor is offered in a one inch version on many Sony Cameras I checked. Im telling you DJI is not stupid and will make sure the Mavic line will always be superior to the rest of the lineup. Matter of fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if they phased out the Air line in favor of the Minis in the future
Air 3 video far superior to air 2s. Photos can go either way depending. Does everything the mini 4 does whilst not blowing away. Better battery, faster, more stable. You should try flying the air 3 and mini pro 4 the same day and revisit your comment.

100% agree!! The A3's sensor is quite incredible!!
I'd add one unique feature of the Air 3 is you can turn off the bottom sensors which can be ideal in some situations. 2s doesn't have that.

Being smaller and lighter is not a good thing im sick of small drones go try to do a range test or fly in the winter...u wont go over a mile
Air 2S isn't that much smaller. I've flown both in winter and they'll go over a mile no problem!
