    Excellent Video! If I have an RDS with Multi-AZ deployment (AZ1 and AZ2). If AZ1 fails for one day, the primary RDS will fail over to AZ2 which becomes the new primary. Does the new primary server in AZ2 operate without any failover now since the AZ1 is out of service? How do they create a new standby server for primary in AZ2?

      If you have configured an additional subnet in you database subnet group (probably in AZ3), then another standby will be created automatically in AZ3.

      @@be-SA What does primary fail exactly ? In my case, primary CPU was 100% for few minutes but it was not considered fail and AZ2 didn't acted as primary.

      ​@@navneetchauhan100 failover cases are in reboot case, OS patching, network connectivity issues etc
