I have a question, if we want to divided reads/writes in aurora cluster , Can we divide it by using RDS proxy ?

And when you need only to query (read) RDS sends the consult to the readers instances?
Do I have to change in code level in order to apply proxy on existing lambda functions which uses RDS (MySQL)?
