Very Good Video. For Read Replicas, do we have to pay for another RDS instance while Backups option is free? Also, if we use DB backup using s snapshot, do we have to do this manually every hour or day for primary database (copy daily snapshot to another region) so we do not end up with large data loss when we restore the snapshot?

Is multi-az considered to be High Availability solution instead of DR solution or multi-az is a DR solution in case of AZ failure only (not regional failure)?

Az going down is super rare, but we should design assuming it fails.
