I have the same bike bought mine second hand for £200 but had to replace the battery which I got on Amazon for £180. The bike is fantastic for commuting to work and for leisure. Only thing is the weight and no suspension. Good video 👍
3:39 I swapped the front with the rear on my bike(human powered only). Gave it some more time before I have to replace the both. The battery seems very costly, third of the overall cost. Perhaps few pennies could be saved if you can find rebuild unit or you rebuild it yourself. As far you are happy then it's the best investment period. You get fast where you want to go, and you keep some physical activity at the same time.
I have one of these. The main issues I have had are there is a hole in the bottom bracket which lets road dirt in to the bearings. Trying to pull away from a junction in top gear and standing on the pedal it snapped off. Due to a lack of maintenance the front brake pads were down to the metal and wore through the wheel rim destroying the wheel. I fixed all these problems myself (with RUclips's help) for minimal cost.
Great vid . Got mine 2nd hand , e bikes are a game changer . Ive just done 14 miles , 10 with it switched on in Cornwall . I was told it struggled with hills , I found remembering to select appropriate gears i got up about 5 cornish hills . Battery died in time for the final climb 😂 . I wouldnt recommend it as a hilly countryside bike due to the weight. For a city or small town ( as its designed for ) it'd work just fine
Good video@@Huddison I had the assist hybrid from Halfords second hand and ran it 65 miles a week to work then all over the place at weekends days off. Never any faults or problems,. Changed the brake pads and rear tyre that's it. It was single speed but set at a good gear to use under power or not. Ended up selling it to fund another project at time. Bought another one last week. Gave it a charge and did 18 miles. Only turning off once quick for downhill.
Hi Huddison we got the E+bike from Argos had it 6 months all good so far ,so did you get the more 10.4 AH as the original one we still got is 7.4AH ,and we had our tyres filled with slime ,as apparently it stops getting punctures think £15 each tyre to fill,so all good, your vid very good information thanks.👍
Mine did that I discovered it was the front cable ( on right side of fork) not being connected properly. So carefully lined up the 2 prong things and now it's fine
Thanks for video can I ask what’s like to go up hill ? I am planning to buy Same one to get to work daily but I got steep hill get to but it will be down hill after work
Hi I have just bought this bike I wanted to know on the settings there is a little button that says auto can you activate that to let the bike move without peddling thanks 😊
My question is how many kilometer can do this bike in eco mode and in normal mode ? And the link what u write ab a battery this is good for 2021 model what i have ?
Possibly, but I don't feel it would be wise or safe on this bike. It's a very heavy bike and if you were to fall over whilst riding, you would likely cause serious injury to both yourself and child.
Thanks for sharing… mine was gotten from someone but it will only power on when connected to be charged. Please do you or anyone here knows what to do. I’m charging it with a 32v charger though. I removed the battery to test on another 24v electric scooter, it worked well. I also have tested the battery’s voltage with multimeter and it give 25.7v. I will appreciate if I can get a solution. Thanks to everyone.

Thanks. Weight is the main misgiving with this bike for sure.

It's my main form of transport currently, so not so costly vs convenience ;)

My front wheel brake pads are also starting to grind through my front rim - I will perhaps make an update video on this subject.
Lovely video. I’ve a Halfords model that’s very similar to yours. I love it. 😅
Mine one is still going strong 4 miles on original battery! Am amazed at this ok range is now 8 miles max but still hauls ass even up steep hills,

My whole e-bike cost £160 and it’s just the newer version of this one 😅 I love it 👍

Can I ask what is your height? Because I bought the same bike but I am worried about being too tall for it
Just under 6 foot. If you're very tall, I would go visit a retailer that sells e-bikes to try before you buy.
@@Huddison I‘m 6.1 - 188 cm and I ordered it now on Amazon in Germany so I am just checking if it is ok or not
@@Yasserwarak The seat can be adjusted to a high height level, so you should be fine.

Thanks for the feedback.
Have you ever seen your bike not going into power 3 before? Mine seems to stay in 2 and flashes
Yours shouldn't be doing that. I have used mine on full power since buying it.

It can struggle on steep hills.
I have a infusion. They are just great for commuting shopping etc

I'll have to do more testing on it.

Just got the same bike brand new clearance for £130. Sounds like a bargain to me for how good it is.
Still going good
Can I ask where you got it for £130?
@@xzqebo Argos Clearance. They have a few warehouses around the UK. Plus you get a years warranty
@@ScottPCArgos clearance is the best 👍👍
Hello! My question is the bike can go more miles with eco mode than in normal mode ? Or the difference is not so much?
I've never really tested that.
@@Huddison
hi My question is, is this battery that you showed exactly right for this bike?
@@mihellerdavid9415 Yes, it works fine and fits just right.
@@HuddisonI'm asking just because of the fitting, after all, the + and - points on the pictures show the battery in reverse.
Can you make a video on how to pump it up
Just bought a great pump, so keep an eye out.
Does it have a G1000?
lol now hey, that'll be a great addition! 😁
Can you put child seat on back?
Possibly, but I don't feel it would be wise or safe on this bike. It's a very heavy bike and if you were to fall over whilst riding, you would likely cause serious injury to both yourself and child.
Hi can you ride the bike in heavy rain.
Yes I've done so, several times.
