Since I haven't heard anyone mention it yet, one of Long John Silver's nicknames is Jack and in Treasure Island, he is hired on as the cook. I think the recylcing of the Crimson Jack monicker and the food scene are meant yo be further allusions to that inspiration.
The one thing I was waiting for in the episode was for Wim to accidentally shoot the engines. This is why bubble turrets need to be free from any part of your ship. The Ghost has its bubble turret placed well. The Clone Wars Y-wing does this well. The Resistance Bombers are not perfect at this, but you'd have to really go out of your way to shoot part of the ship. The Onyx Cinder though, man, those engines are too close to the turrets. I thought for sure Wim was going to screw this up one way or another, but he lucked out.
Both turrets are also on top of the fuselage, the X-Wings just needed to dive and they'd be out of shot. There seem to be at least 2 more gun turrets, but they're probably not manually operated.
The dorsal and ball turrets on planes like the B-17 had a mechanism that prevented the guns from firing while a part of the craft was in the gunner’s LOF, so I don’t think it out of the realm of possibility that many ships in Star Wars would be equipped with something similar.
I’m glad Molly mentioned Severance. I got those vibes early on. Also gives me some Fallout vibes with the “overseer/supervisor” being the only one who knows what’s happening
Donkey Kong Country 1, 2 & 3: My favourite games of all time. Ground breaking, profound, deep, iconic, 8 bit bangers galore. Whats not to love. Might fire up the SNES today. 10/10 for intro music.
What if those planets where destroyed using that sith device that was in rebels that would do whatever the user wanted. Which started the war where all those Jedi got petrified. The planet where Kanan lost his vision and Vader fought Ashoka.
@@Mad05934 depends what you mean by 'sus'. I think he is currently despondent and slowly working towards essentially commit what At Attan would consider treason to save the kids

Also; Jod sounds like John, and Silvo sounds like Silver. Plus the first full name he tells the kids is kinda “Long…”
I’m just spitballing here.
Clearly Crimson Jack was part of Crimson Dawn and was probably a padawan Maul tutored before Ezra but abandoned to pirates
KB has been my favorite of the kids so I'm glad others are wanting more of her story too
That Juan Soto news question meant everything to me 😂😂
STAY BOMBAD

Extremely blessed to be in the middle of the Venn Diagram interested in both the Juan Soto contract news and the Rotta the Hutt Casting news
I'm choosing to believe that Jod/Silvo used "Crimson Jack" like Ezra used "Jabba the Hutt" 🐌
I can see Whim calling the group “The skeleton Crew” much to the other kids dismay.

Thanks to Alex, Mollie, Gerry and Scotty! ✨💀✨
So this guy Scotty hasn't seen RotJ? "Is this the first Star Wars moon with an atmosphere??" Endor??? Yavin IV??

Mollie won.. new intro music, huh? 🙂
I was surpised that KB potentially being able to use the force wasnt brought up
I’m personally chalking that up to her cybernetics detecting that someone was approaching, at least until proven otherwise.
Is wims father sus?
