I've made drapes and curtains in the past but it sure is nice to have a refresher course when getting ready to tackle a pretty large window. Thank you so much for these videos.
Please tell us about your cutting table! It looks like it is padded so that you can iron as well as having a 1" grid on material, as well as being stapled around the edges to stay in place. Very interesting. Also, thank you for such clear instructions and camera angles!
This was filmed before we downsized and moved. I had a drapery workroom with a big table that I built, covered and marked the grid. I went to a drapery school years ago, and the instructor, Cheryl Strickland had plans for how to build the table and cover it. You might be able to do a search to find the plans. My table was 60” x 120”. I REALLY miss it! And, yes, you can iron on the table. Thanks for watching.
I love your green fabric. I adore textiles. I have a few materials from the 1970s through the 1990s. Unfortunately, I couldn't bear using them; they will likely be sold for cheap at an estate sale.
I’ve been sewing a few pillow cases (thank you for your tutorials) and I couldn’t rip the fabric. HA! Now I know what I can do with the next time. 😊 💕💃🏻

Glad they're helpful!
This is very helpful. I can now stitch pieces together with confidence. Thank you very much!
Wonderful! Thanks for watching!

That's too bad. I love textiles too. Thanks for watching!
Squaring the fabric is the part of sewing that I dislike.
Yes, it's not my favorite part of sewing either!
