Well being an N8 owner and lusting for one of these I finally gave in and hit the order button! I'm so excited I can't wait to receive it and I got the blue one!!!!! But why would an N8 owner want one of these? Its all about the size of this device and simplicity of S40!! Sometimes its tiring carrying around a big smartphone though I still enjoy using my N8 and am keeping it and use this for everyday use and the N8 for special uses :D

Is this model also a music phone? So does it have a dedicated audio chip for music playback and extra equalizer settings? It seems like Nokia has dropped the additional XpressMusic brand label with recent models, which is a pity because it made the music phones easier to recognize.

As for the cell itself, it costs 152 euros on 12/2010, which is a particularly low price for all the features u get, has a moderate battery life of 5h talk and 400h standby, is really slim (9,6mm) and light (77gr) and has a SAR value of 0,96 w/kg (which is somewhat high). overall very good value/price
how long does the battery last when everything is running and almost everything except the essentials are switched on? (btw i'm talking about music, calling time and texting time)
@laucys don't hesitate... Nokia X3-02 is not a "true" touch screen, and even the touch screen will help you to navigate faster.... try to look up for Nokia C5 or Nokia Asha lineup, they will cover you things that you need

umm can somebody help.. u see below the shortcut bar there is the Menu touch key and the other two soft keys which is usually the 'Go To' and 'Names'. the background colour of the three keys is blue right? how do you make it transparent/blend in with the wallpaper/themes..its quite annoying and i've been trying to find any website theme that can create the blue thingy transparent or dissapear..Anyone please help me...i've tried for 1 week!! please just help

amazing phone...i love mine it works so well...and the indoor photos are quite good too...if you are looking for a multimedia high tec system this is for you...and i like the new keypad i find it much better then the old ones...overall its a phone for everyone its a fun sexy multitasking experience and the price it self is normal and acceptable compared to other phones
@MillionKnivesRain well ive got the the galaxy 5 and its been working quite good and the touchscreen is good, plays music loud enough. with the x3 02 you will propably get the phone to be laggy and stuff in a few years by dropping it etc. ( I know this cuz i've had 3 nokias) but still with the x3 02 you get the basic buttons which might be nice and the music volume is much better but it still has quite bad internet browser.
you got that right mine lasted couple months dropped on the floor and there we go. first screen has wierd graphic problems couple days later the touch screen doesnt response correctly arrrg cost me 192 euros my godness
i own an x3-02 and it "was" the best phone i've ever had! well, that's in the first month! after that, my phone started slowing down, had blackouts by just simply opening a message, fell from 2ft of height and the vibrations gone, kills the alarms by itself and doesn't snooze after that, the touch is very unresponsive, hard time scrolling from picture to picture. :| just pure :| the only good thing about it is the equalizer and the battery life, it lasts for atleast 2 days on full music.
just think of x3-02 as a good upgrage of 3110 classic. 5mp camera, wi-fi, and touch screen at a price range that wont kill you. the keypads are good for people with big thumbs.please stop comparing mid-range with high end phones because the cost speaks for itself. some people tend to buy new pricey phones with features they dont actualy use(or need). having that said, x3-02 is best for folks who fancy good camera phone and uses internet once in a while.
