- Anthony Watts uses data from NASA GISS to highlight the fact that modern temperatures are well within historical norms.

Even looking at NASA's satellite pics in 2010, more CO2 means more greenery on the planet's surface.
Last year all I heard on the news was it is 1 degree warmer than average for this time of year. The news said absolutely NOTHING when my area was12-14 degrees C below average for the time of year.
Here in the UK we have had a cool and wet year, so our media concentrated on any warm events anywhere else in the world.
Unrelenting BS.
@@senseofthecommonman I see it as well, mate. I am in Wales. This year we have had almost no summer, but still all we hear is hot weather and climate change on the news.
They frighten you about human caused change, but want you to forget just what a deadly sob Jack Frost is!!!
I'm not a climate change skeptic, I'm a climate stability skeptic. There's never been an series of seconds on the planet where there's been some demonstrable climate "stability" to maintain.
Nice take on the situation! The arrogance of humans to believe that sacrificing the poor to the weather goddess will give them control of the weather or climate.
Catastrophic climate change isn't what we should be worrying about. The very real possibility of a nuclear war or a long term widespread grid down scenario is far more worrisome to me and far more likely to actually occur.
*Thank You! Keep up your great work!*
Can't the climate alarmists tell that we aren't in any danger due to the fact that CO2 is only 0.04% and that life starts to die off if we go much lower? Isn't too low more of a concern?
Oh but any change due to human activity is terrible... Channeling Bill McKibben.
These ppl could not tell there was no excess people dying, all they needed was TV saying so
@@TheFreedomBay in other words, the populace is innumerate.
Nah, they would have to try to think before one could conclude that. They are emotionally based is what I think, no thoughts of their own, just parroting what they perceive as the normal. Its what we can expect of sheeple valuing being normal but not even knowing what it means@@wheel-man5319
The planet has been hotter and cooler before.
Nuff said.
Great work guys!
I live at 6500 ft above sea level. A 2°F increase in winter temperatures is to be greatly appreciated and enjoyed.❤
Why is it that Mr. I.M.Green only talks about HOTTER summers and never WARMER winters?
Australia. I gave my grandsons Ian Plimer’s “Little Green Book “ in order for them to find out themselves instead of the indoctrination they get at school.
There are at least 3% of scientists who have studied climate and agree with The Heartless Institute. With a few more million $$, you may find more! Keep up your fine efforts!
Why are you cherry picking? That is dishonest. The trend is not ‘flat’. It’s not flat.
Ask NASA..
Flat as a flapjack.
@@wheel-man5319. It isn’t ‘flat’. Look again. The average global temperature on Earth has increased by at least 1.1° Celsius (1.9° Fahrenheit) since 1880. The majority of the warming has occurred since 1975, at a rate of roughly 0.15 to 0.20°C per decade. That is not ‘flat’. No matter how much you cherry-pick and manipulate the presentation of graphs and charts.
@@tubecated_development Now prove that isn't out of climatology range for the planet. It goes up true but it is negligible. They are gathering too much data in and near heat islands, plus manipulating it.
@@tubecated_developmentif you want to live on a dead planet than get rid of CO2. No CO2=no life.
if we were rational people we would call this period as a Climate Optimum
Way too cold to be optimum.
Scientists have dug up 5000 years old walnut tree stubs from Finnish Lapland. Now we don't have them at all.
Keep the good news coming. Variation is not a crisis, that is unless if you intend one!
Hilarious, you merited one of RUclips's blue censorship boxes above..
If heartland publishes it RUclips almost always puts one of their warnings that you're viewing something contrary to the accepted narrative on the content.
How much influence does wind power and solar power have on climate are disrupting air circulation Are solar panels making climate warming
Solar panels contribute to the urban heat island problem and all it entails - wind power has horrible impacts on local bird populations and creates a grotesque amount of fibreglass waste.
Heat island effect for solar 'farms' for certain. Wind turbines are deadly to birds and bats. In the ocean they kill whales....
It depends on the location and situation, but overall solar panels have a mild cooling effect on the planet. While the cooling effect isn’t strong, it is better than any other form of generation.
@@tubecated_development 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
@@Bobo-ox7fj Although the solar panels might directly cause a little cooling, the electricity they generate causes warming. And almost certainly that warming is greater than the immediate cooling (because more of the energy is turned into heat and less escapes to space as visible light than would have done by reflection in the absence of solar panels).
But again note that these effects are tiny: solar panels might cause some tiny amount of local warming but it is utterly negligible compared to the carbon-induced global warming that does not happen because of them.
