I was one of 60 happy people who was allowed to visit this place, it was AMAZING. I came to Tokyo at midnight, left my racksack in hostel and went to there to be at 3am to be sure I will see this place and tuna auction and have seen it. Lucky me.
woah, that looks like some kind of fight getting past all these people :) it felt like I was in between :D and there are some buildings that look kinda old compared to others around, the ones covered with verdigris(?) ...
Be sure to check the tripadvisor review before going in to one of these restaurants at the outer marker. I went to a less crowded sushi restaurants and I've had fresher sushi elsewhere. The prawns were also "sticky". So not all of these restaurants have fresh seafood as you think.
Yep, many of these places are not that great and often deliver below average food. I have even been to some that were highly recommended by some Japanese people and the result was just "average", not bad, but I had better sushi elsewhere. But indeed be careful guys, many of them are tourist traps.
+Tommy Sands nope, you are still good for a few years as everything as been put on hold. And the outer market (the one in the video) will stay and be improved

Came here for the first time last month and loved the experience. Lots of good food but damned crowded. Amazed you could make a video in there.
