Pretty wild that Morning Brew went from your biggest competition to a friend and sponsor of the show. That’s a win!

I never write comments, but this is honestly the greatest podcast I’ve ever found. The vulnerability & REAL example of how these success stories can relate is amazing. Thank you for this project Sam! Please keep them coming

    Some positive and constructive feedback:
I really enjoy this podcast, may even like it more than MFM! I've listened to every episode. There are SO many podcasts out there, and the premise of this one actually feels unique.
It was great to finally see a woman featured! However, the way you constantly harped on her confidence felt gendered. You feature a LOT of confident men on here and MFM (i.e., they take risky bets on themselves and assume they'll be successful), yet confidence is hardly mentioned in those episodes. She's built two incredibly successful entities, works hard, and is super sharp - we shouldn't be surprised that she's confident! If she were a dude, I don't think the theme of confidence would have been as central.

I appreciate your feedback. Respectfully, I disagree. I mean, if that's your opinion then you can't be wrong. But I think i've said similar comments to many other men (rob dydrek, laird hamilton). I work hard to treat everyone fairly, so bummed if you think I treated her that way. But maybe its something I should consider. Appreciate you.

@@samparr9899 I get so annoyed at business podcasts that are so disconnected from their audiences- but seeing you follow up in the comments, I'm subscribing and going to give this podcast a chance... It makes it much more meaningful when the podcast host is engages with how the information lands- even once you're paid for the click and ads. ❤

But the reality is that many women entrepreneurs highlight the issue of confidence - either trying to overcome their lack of confidence in leading a major business OR trying to overcome other people's lack of confidence in women-led businesses. I think that celebrating a woman's confidence should be promoted and definitely highlighted. Women talk about it all the time. It is one of her best characteristics that she naturally exudes and she/women absolutely need it in a lot of male-dominated industries.
Also, I have heard men on the podcast talk about dealing with imposter syndrome even after success. All these themes are all necessary. We can all learn from everything.
