It's not bad at all even if it's not the same thing as the electric instrumentation. The voice is somehow too powerful for an acoustic setup but not powerful enough for the electric setup.
I got your point. The voice of the dude is way too "energic" to sound like somebody that's gonna be executed. I agree, with you but for me that doesn't mean It's a bad performance... It's pretty good. For me It sounds like someboy else telling the tale of the one to be executed, and He's telling it pretty well.
