From what I know, Premium Select is NOT Premium Economy. Premium Economy is Comfort+ which is what you see immediately behind the seats this seat is located. Comfort+ just gives you 3 extra inches of leg room and one carry on bag/one checked bag. Premium Select you get first class food, bigger screens, two checked bags and one carry on bag (like Delta One), and priority in boarding after Delta One. You get 8 inches more and more width to each seat. Also costs about $500 more per flight direction.

Comfort Plus are seats with extra legroom and offer alcoholic beverages on Domestic flights. Internationally really only extra legroom and maybe you have access to beer ( you get wine in regular Economy Class on longhaul International flights ). Delta doesn’t have Premium Economy on domestic routes with the exception ( soon ) on JFK-LAX.

I flew down to Brasil during the pandemic when it was allowed and I couldn’t believe how empty the 787 was, it’s a 10 hour flight from Houston to São Paulo and it’s usually packed. There were only a few people in front of me. I’d guess maybe 30 people on the entire aircraft. I had many rows that I could have slept in. I got to sleep which is rare for me because it’s usually like cruel and inhumane torture.

I think premium economy is practically reclassified first class chairs on wide body planes where business class is available. IMHO the best value ticket on long haul flights when comes to comfort and price.

Premium Select is Delta’s name for Premium Economy. Premium Economy seats in the U.S. are akin to U.S. Domestic First Class.

The premium select also has leg and foot rest which is rlly nice

The poor man’s Business Class is always a plus when traveling Economy lol. Love to see an empty row when I am flying long haul Economy.

I believe slightly. Why I don’t love the bulkhead rows with IFE screens that come from between the seat dividers they do put the screens much closer

Yes they are a bit wider. The legroom is a little greater. It is a more comfortable seat for a long haul than Comfort Plus in my opinion.

keep in mind that the armrests aren’t moveable. If that is an issue potentially comfort plus is a better option as those armrests are.
