[Osaka] Japan's Thickest Tonkatsu "Chiyomatsu"! Expanding to 4 branches at an astonishing speed!

Opened on April 1, 2022, the main restaurant of "Katsu-don Chiyomatsu" has gained fans with its overwhelmingly large cutlets and is expanding its branches at an astonishing speed. The restaurant now operates four stores and attracts many customers from overseas as well.
The "thickest Tonkatsu in Japan" have attracted many customers, which has led to an increase in the number of stores and a rapid business growth. This month, a fifth store opened in Okinawa. It remains to be seen how far its popularity will spread in the future.
Chiyomatsu is a pork cutlet specialty restaurant in Dotonbori, Osaka, where the owner, a former sumo wrestler, serves the thickest pork cutlet bowl in Japan. The pork cutlet is an impressive 5 cm thick and weighs 400 grams per person. The pork cutlet is made from rib roast meat cooked at low temperature for 24 hours, and is reputed to be the thickest in Japan!
In July 2023, a food hall "TOP TREE" opened on the top floor of Don Quijote Kokusai Dori Store. Chiyomatsu" is located in the food and beverage booth.
