Hi Dennis, I would love to see the more in-depth build video and that goes for all your projects to be honest. It's very inspiring to see your solutions - practical and eye candy what more to desire? As always very nice content, thanks for sharing your work and keep them coming please ;-)
I like the alternative logic that you add to your commentary as you go, ie. single side reference to keep fence square. I have a similar 2” adjustable dust port on the right side, I added Tee and can put a second collector on the left or pull it off and plug the fitting hole. I telescoped a piece of corrugated tubing inside the second port and by putting a few O rings on the corrugated tube it fits tight and pulls out several inches for adjustments. Haven’t seen your videos in a while, but your content is top shelf. Thanks.
Definitely like to see a detailed video of the drill table please. Such apparently simple solutions when you present them totally belying the amount of thinking time and experiment that lies behind them. Thanks
Please do a series on building the ultimate drill press table!! I never seem to get enough of your innovative ideas, and the beauty you build into everything you do.
It’s always a good idea to show build projects. Techniques vary and its interesting to see others even if it turns out to be the way you do it yourself. Also it would be nice to see an update on the new workshop when you have time. Thanks for you time , its much appreciated .
Hello Dennis. I always love watching your videos and am so impressed at your precision and artistry. I particularly like the black MDF material you use across your shop. It adds such a distinctive look. I have tried to find a source for that material here in Virginia, USA but my usual lumber yard cannot locate it. Can you please provide some additional information on what this material is called and where I might purchase it? Thank you Sir. Keep up the fine work.
Dennis, this is such a thoughtful and inspiring build! I love what you've done, but would also love more detail. I'm looking for the MDF you mentioned, here in the US. I love the clean black look and how it polishes. Thanks for sharing your passion and your learning with us!
Once again Dennis, you have produced a work of art designed to be a very useful and effective tool for any woodworker. I was very impressed with the design and operability, as well as the appearance of the table and fence, and would definitely love to see a video on how you built it. If you could offer some insight into how those of us without laser engravers or CNC machines could achieve the same results, I'm sure thousands of us would appreciate that knowledge as well. Thanks for sharing, and I always look forward to your videos.
Brilliant attention to detail once again Dennis, particularly like the simplicity of the dust extraction, I’ll be copying that for sure 👍. I’d be interested to see the full build video.
Hi Dennis, I would love to see the more in-depth build video and that goes for all your projects to be honest. It's very inspiring to see your solutions - practical and eye candy what more to desire? I really love tour use of contrast with the Black MDF. I look forward to more and more from you.
Keep up the good work Dennis. I stop by your channel every few weeks to see what you’ve been up to and am never disappointed. One thing that has caught my eye is that in your new shop you seem to have moved away from the removable section at the front of the drill press bench and the dog holes in the surface of the drill press and mitre station benches are no longer present. It would be interesting to hear your rationale for these design changes at some point. Cheers.
Hi Martin, I will address this in the How to build video. But, I never used the sliding table so the capacity is big enough. Further, If I need the maximum capacity, I can turn away the platform and use my tabletop as a platform. Maybe I will make some slots for this purpose, but again, I never use the capacity. About the dog holes. I do have more space now with much more benches. So, it does not have to be as multifunction as before. However, It maybe possible I made some in the future.
Another great build. I am always jealous of that colorful mdf, I have been unable to find it where I am. I would definitely like to see a full build video for the table, as I am sure it would be very inspiring for similar ideas.
I would very much like to see your drill press table. I would also like to see the bench you have integrated it with. I been looking for plans for your previous bench where the drill press was sitting below the level of your bench.
Hello Dennis. I enjoy all your videos but it would be great if they were longer. Showing a limited time of your design process along with tool set up and finally the build and finish work. Kind of like the New Yankee Workshop with Norm Abram
Great work as usual Dennis - +1 for the full build video. I am surprised you have not created the Netherlands version of Benchdogs or Woodpeckers - your quality and aesthetics are right up there!
I just "discovered" your channel and I must say, I liked what I so from the first moment. I love your way of thinking and doing things in your workshop, everything is like clear lines and simplistic, yet very functional/inovativ end very estatik. If that was my workshop, I don't know if I wanted to use it 😄That good it looks👍😎 I subscribed, of course 😉
Great table and build. You can buy a product called Loc-Line vacuum kit which will give you a hose that you can maneuver. Your solution is very clever as well.
Dennis, please produce the build video. BTW, I think I should move to the Netherlands so I can purchase all those cool black items like the black MDF and PVC pipe. Love the look. Take it easy.
