I really like this technique of "50% gray on overlay with dodge & burn" but I'm always perplex, that's create a platic look, of course u can work with opacity to manage it. (Dude, sorry for my english ^^)

Well I am still probably on beginner level of Photoshop, yours certainly came out better but I don't have the raw camera filter on my version. However I'm still really pleased with my result and thank you for a great tutorial :D

Thanks for this great tutorial. Im still learning and got into some problem here. I think I pressed a wrong button somewhere. Now, when i resize the image a little bit, just like what you did in the first part after pressing ctrl+T. It no longer expands the whole image but rather, it makes it look like im zooming in because it cannot go anymore larger the the background image size. Can you help me on that?
hi bro. make sure the layer is duplicated. press Ctrl+T & hold Shift when you resize it.

yes, the layer is duplicated. If you noticed on the screenshot(link below), instead of the canvas size increasing, the size looks the same. making it look like im just zooming the picture instead of resizing the image.

How did he erase the blur effect at the face of the model? I tried his procedure(16:10) but it doesn't do the same as his output? plz help...
adding a Mask on the layer, then use the Brush tool with Black & paint it on the mask layer.
rafy A thank u sir finally i did it in cs6, but i can't find a way in cc 2015.5? Pls show me how.?
rafy A it was really strange, at first when i tried it thru cc 2015.5 i can't get the output that i want then after installing cs6 and tried the same procedure as yours then it worked, so i tried it back in cc 2015.5 and finally it worked too. I can't explain it but I'm happy. Thank you sir.
