I’ve see quite a few boiler rooms but this has to be my favorite. For me, this is what dance music is all about. All sorts of people (dj included) celebrating life together. Where else than on the dance floor do you see such a connection between total strangers? Of course I wish I’d been there but even here, watching from my phone, I’m totally feeling it. Puts a huge smile on my face.
i feel you, i have been watching this bouncing on my chair with a huuge smile on my face. Experiencing these kind of nights is as good as life can get.
Agreed. Straight tracks with uplifting vocals are likely one of the keys here for this kind of vibe. However not all sets can be like that. So you need to mix in harder stuff at a show with this kind of set at the right time to produce something magical.
Starting around 30:45, and more specifically at 31:05, the way Palmsy looks around a bit at the crowd as the beat drops and seems to take it all in with a huge smile on his face is priceless. Everyone dancing with their hands up, on the ground, the table, or on someone else's shoulders, as they positively lose themselves... it's a thing of beauty.
@@siebe092 The song is kind of underground, the original post on YT has like 400k views, BUT, IT, SLAPS! I first discovered the song and then this set, glad to see it he left it mostly original.
This guy is just incredible. His transitions, the picks, the vibe he created - all made to perfection. I never comment on videos. For this guy I just have to make clear how majestic his sets are. I've had this guy's sets in the background while working/studying - cannot get over how good they are!
I met Jay last night at an event in Cape Town, When i told him that i will be voting for him in 2020, he laughed and said "wow that joke has travelled, but seriously please don't". What a lad, but im still voting for you Palmsy ;)
That's how you vibe the fuck out of a crowd... just every track choreographed into a piece of the bigger performance which is near flawless IMO.... and dude is having actual fun... my faith in underground dance music remains intact...it's a tad bit harder to find and that's the point..... DJs that can take 2-3 hours and turn them into magic are rare but this dude practices sorcery effortlessly....amazing set to watch
This is already such a great and happy set throughout its entire runtime, but when it transitions into that South African song around 41:00, it becomes truly transcendental. Just a magical experience to be able to listen to this. Makes me wish I was there!
16 th min and I think this will be on top 5 boilerrooms .. Dekmantel ....again you dont disappoint me.. I wish I could be there one day.. One love boilers 💚💚

@@ItaloBrutalo his 2016 dekmantel set was class. Didn't think he could beat that.
2016 dekmantel 38minutes 38 seconds..watch his reaction...😉
Dekmantel crowd know their music. They know they are watching something special 🤩🤩🤩
@@ItaloBrutalo Unreal edit mate
I've listened this set over and over again and I never get tired of doing it! SHOWDOWN!
He went fully balls out Italo Disco. Respect
That is why it's so fucking good lmao I can't believe it took me this long to realize he's incorporating italo disco into it.
I listened to this set so much that I can sing the music.
I've been into electronic music since 2002. I have a collection of almost 2,5k DJ sets and I have nothing comparable to this gem.
Feel you man, 100%. This one really is a special one.
Still the greatest boiler room set even after all these years
I almost forgot to watch this today
When this 80's track kicks in at 22:30 this gave me goosebumps!
For everyone who's searching for the ID:
Pulse - Showdown (1985)
Any chance to find it on Spotify?

Gives off proper 80s cops vibes. THIS IS A SHOWDOWN
Never seen something like this. This is what is all about. The music and the crowd in one. Palmsy for President, and the world will be a better place!
Seriously, great crowd, great DJ. Everyone is into music and nothing else. This is a music paradise
remember social gatherings? wow what a time
Cannot wait to get back
hahahahaa
Up
I've heard rumors.
just had the same thought, mate
one of the best sets of boiler room history ...
Palmsy is so far in the green with his selections, the man has gone from inspiring the masses, to now healing at scale.
well said
Very well said
Dude in the glasses to his right should teach dance lessons in every school in Britain. His moves are breath-taking and important.
I've watched this set like 100 times and still get blown away by how good this is
too
yesssss :D
What a honor it was to be there live at one of the best DJ sets in festival history
One of the best sets I've ever heard - this is pure art!
one of the most beautiful boilers ever! show!
add blocker?
cant help but smile when you see his reaction to the whole crowd applauding him 43:30
this is the mix i keep coming back to, it is liquid GOLD!
41-44 huge track, huge mood, great set, you can really see his influences
This guy is from another planet. 100th time listening to this set, still blown away. What a performance. Palmsy: you're next on my bucket list!
From the space❤
THAT OPENING! INCREDIBLE, the vibes coming off that deck are insane
Right into the action in the first second, amazing. Maceo Plex also did the same thing in boiler room video, you might like it.
Iam so glad to found this clip "accidentally". Just great and no more words needed. I fall so deep in my headphones right now.....
This guy is just incredible. His transitions, the picks, the vibe he created - all made to perfection.

I like the direction electronic music is heading to. Faith restored.
That track transition on 22:22 is so amazing. It's just perfect.
Finally a boiler room that dances (and a DJ that not only can play but has a feeling for the music as well). A "wish I had been there" moment...
I think this and Ross from friends are my favourite boiler rooms
When a DJ know's the lyrics, he's mixing from the heart.

26:20 Serge Fontaine - Troubadour (Instrumental) TUNEEEEEEEEEE and if your that lady in the grey on the right, marry me.
Best boiler room ever glad i was there to live this dream🙌
Wow..happy days 🤩🤩🤩🤩

Looking back this was probably the Bestest ever moment of my life and all I couldn’t stop thinking was “this is that good”
please put your hands together for young marco !!!!!!!
@Phoebe S Watson techno purists..

Where is young marco's set??
One of the best dj-set-hours I have ever heard!
23:00 Pulse & Adele Bertei - Showdown
Incredible, so glad that we will party with him here in Belo Horizonte, Brazil!
Def the best Boiler Room set.
my fave boiler room set EVER!!!!

palms trax was sent from the future to save the 80s and he already made it to 2021
amazing always and forever, 2 years later, 20 years in the future, 2 centuries over Orion's Belt
Amazing set coupled with a great crowd!
37:00 to the drop at 38:59.....brilliant !
I remember being there, having Skatebard first and then Palmsy delivering such a classy set! What a night, what a memory!!!
Two of my fav boiler room sets
Let's have a Palms Trax Dekmantel 2018 reunion gathering all the people from the comment section & listen to this set all together.
Mate what an absolute set, palms trax is a genius 🔥
I loved the intro. It's one of the best intros of all boiler room performances!
Cuantos mas años pasan, mejor es la sesión ❤
Wow, only bangers ! Thanks Palmsy
16 th min and I think this will be on top 5 boilerrooms .. Dekmantel ....again you dont disappoint me.. I wish I could be there one day.. One love boilers 💚💚
I've said it before and I'll say it again this was probably the greatest thing I've ever seen and don't think it'll ever be topped - Fucking beautiful
Listening again, I am more and more convinced of this!
C'est du new wave années 80 sauce PALMS TRAX super paysage musical bravo
In Palms we Trax
from 11:00 to basically the end is one of the greatest sequences of sounds you'll ever hear
I agree 1000%
53:30 is ridiculous. What a set
Yeah it's ridiculous how he played someone else's song.
'A disc jockey, often abbreviated as DJ, is a person who plays existing recorded music for a live audience'
@Anthony N big blue front end? Fanny.....who else drops showdown into their set 30 minutes in and still smashed it?
@@youtubesuresuckscock that's what a DJ do lol
It would’ve been even better without vocals and a synth instead of the organ
MI FAVORITO DE TODO BOILER ROOM ! Y DE TODO RUclips JODER!!!!
Guy in the front right with the glasses is having the time of his life haha
He rocks so hard !! Would love to bust a move with him
This with Anetha’s Amsterdam one has to be the bests Boiler Room ever.
My early comment reminding myself that this was the greatest experiences of my life. Thank you king palmsy
Guys, he needs no introduction... because this set has become part of my daily routine
And not a single pill was consumed that day ... HAHA Beautiful people beautiful set Palmsy
yes
one of the best boiler rooms ever
The best dj set on Boiler Room
I love you Palmsy 🖤🍀
That Troubadour track is insanely good
очень рад что такую музыку играют в наши дни))
колесо сделало полный оборот, и мы снова в 90))
Whaat a viibe! Shaking at isolation like i am there with all this crowd. Brilliant set.
Probably the most fire set ever, not even exaggerating
straight from the get go! thats how its done
When you only have an hour, going in from the first beat is preferable - especially after you play to a room that was treated to Skatebard.
the dude is casually smiling knowing he's dropping the set of the century
Muchas gracias boiler room y saludos cordiales desde Mallorca para vosotros
Love the energy of this crowd
How funny that the moderator finishes the set "please, one last time, give it up for Young Marco" at 57:20.
Better late than never.
43:30- 43:39 amazing moment
More like 43:30-43:49...
But I agree, that moment almost feels spiritual, great set!
Our new year party favorite dj set!
38:40 is pure magic!
Yessssssss !!!

Adverts on a Boiler Room video... Spoils the immersion
Edit: I now have AdBlock and am back to re-enjoy this set
fuck yeah, major bummer
