Glad that you like the challenge coins and that they arrived unscathed :-) I went to the 75th D-Day anniversary with a friend for a sort of road trip a few weeks after you made the D-day special video and when I saw this one at Omaha, I just had to get it. One of the best holidays I had over the last years, many museums, a lot to see and learn (we are both history, particularly WWI and WWII enthusiasts - we also made a similar trip to the Verdun WWII battleground). The other one says Praha - Prague in Czech (its capital city) and the 60 is for the 60th anniversary of its liberation. As I wrote in the letter, it was sort of a small gift for those, who participated on that event.
Thank you so much Robert, I really appreciate you taking the time to send me these objects of remembrance. They are certainly going to be front and centre of my next challenge coin framed set! - Wish you well, Marty!
As soon as you read "jambalaya" I knew where he was from... He's from the state of Louisiana. Jambalaya is a rice based dish with anything/everything but the kitchen sink tossed in! Good stuff! Funny how he sent you models of an outhouse or portable dunny. ;)
Yay! You got the world map, and you wondered if you'd be able to use all those magnetic clamps? :-) I want to mail something through Antarctica so I can get a whole area to myself on the map! Thank you so much for sharing your hobby with us. A happy hour in rough week.
Greetings from another RAF veteran. I’m recovering from hand surgery, and watching your videos is helping me overcome boredom whilst I am limited in what I can do.
OMG I'm dying @13:02 "I can do this". Whomever doesn't like unboxing videos hasn't seen moments like this. Quite literally crying and trying not to LOL in my cubicle. Thank you Marty!
Thanks for the laughter, Marty! I caught your Fawlty Towers reference ("I mentioned it ONCE, but I THINK I got away with it!" ("Don't mention THE WAR!")
The little white blocks are HO scale "Porta-Potties", i.e. portable toilets for use at construction sites, faires, concerts, and other gatherings. They're normally a light blue here in the US. Those do look authentic, down to the vent stack on top. Cheers!
You are correct, the Kubelwagen is the German equivalent to the US Jeep of WWII vintage. A modified version of the Kubelwagen; designated the Volkwagen 181 or 182, depending on the placement of the steering wheel; was produced in the 1970s for the West German army and was marketed to the public as the Kurierwagen in Germany, the Trekker in the UK, the Thing in the US, the Camat in Indonesia, the Pescaccia in Italy and the Safari in Mexico.
If I understood what you read, those resin items are Port-a-cans. That is, they are portable toilet stalls (or out-houses) as can be found on worksites and at many public events where there would otherwise be no public restrooms. In England, they'd be known as Port-a-loos. The small pip on the top is a vent stack and the raised panel on the front is the door.
All tracks, tank, bulldozer or whatever would pop off while you were pushing them across the floor even right out of the box. As a kid i wanted the tracks to move while i was driving, the other choice was hold the toy slightly off the floor so they didnt touch.
Your laugh is infectious! I felt a bit of a fool sitting here alone and laughing aloud, but heck! I enjoyed every minute. Thank you, and I am glad that you are not splitting off the unboxing videos - they are part and parcel of your channel.
I enjoy the unboxing vids. I like seeing all the cars I remember and those I have never heard of. Also I think they have become an important part of what you do as it shows the inspiration you have given to other modellers and to show appreciation to those who donate to you. Keep em' going.
Fantastic once again. "I can do this","Iam having a moment", classic. Poor Stan's letter, consolation on it is I think its provided the best laugh up to now. Its right about laughter been contagious. Keep up the good work. Would love to see the train done up.
I like the unboxing videos too. I think I learn more than you do when you encounter something new or unusual. Please don’t stop making them. And it’s been shown scientifically that laughter is indeed contagious. Couldn’t stop smiling while watching this one.
Goodday mate! thank you for another great video. I for one am glad you chose this path for your channel as i see many tubbers bending there's and saying sorry for everything. Like our fast food service here in the states. I enjoy that you sir take time to teach us and laugh along. thank you crew.
Another great video. The security truck had a box storage piece on the back with a three plastic dial combination built into the door to lock it. The code is embossed on the underside. It came with a trolley of gold and a guard as well. I owned one in the early 1980s
Thanks for the gut busting laughs Marty. This is one of your best videos. How can anybody not like your unboxings they are great Love seeing what people from around the world send you. Those cars that have the strange body's are sold at dollar stores everywhere they come in packs of 10 or 20 for a dollar We call them throw away toys
We are so proud of your decision to stay with one channel. We love all your antics. That shirt just kills me, I always wondered who was driving those cars. Lets see a shot of that map some time with pins locating all your contributors. We haven't laughed that much at a video for some time. Keep up the good work.
The tiny orange and green cars in the last box could be made by Barclay. Came with a truck and flat bed car trailer. Glad you are keeping makeovers and unboxing all on one channel.
I really like the un-boxing as it is so interesting seeing all of the cars and unique gifts that are sent to you. I watch them on Saturday morning and they start my weekend off really nicely. I hope you will consider doing a construction vehicle tutorial like the D-Day one. It would be great to them restored into new condition. The crane and bulldozers are my favorites. Thanks for sharing your gifts with us.
Marty hi, such a great entertaining video, loved it, "the security truck" I had one similar, mine had a Safe like door on rear of the truck and locked with the 3 digit code the code is printed on the bottom of the truck you just held, Be fantastic to see this like new again, if its similar to the one I remember Love your films thank you.
I like the unboxing vids, as I like Christmas and like to see what is in the box. So many variations of cars. Keep up the good work Marty. Look forward to the weekend video.

Marty Out Of All You Toy Car Guys You Always Every Time Have The Most Amazing Stock Sent To You And For Me You Putting Out Another Unboxing Video Esp The Bigger Boxes This Brings Back All Those Happy Memories When You Unearth A Rare Beauty Or More In Excellent Condition!!! Once again Marty another great unboxing video!! I love them. I love watching you opening your presents its like Christmas. Keep up the good work. Until then take care and I'll see you again. BYE bye.
Great video Marty! Your sense of humor is contagious! Tootsie Toys were a very early part of my childhood and I have fond memories of these toys. I bought diecast lots on eBay and the Tootsies came in these lots. They are basic and simple but very similar to early Matchbox/Lesney toys. The Matchbox cars came in a lot with some mint and some less than mint but in great condition. I will be sending more from time to time. Keep the unboxing videos, please. They are awesome!
The Noddy with Big Ears wagon was part of a train set first made in 1959 by Morestone (Budgie) Diecast Toys. The set consisted of a yellow coloured train with Noddy as the driver and the wagon in which Big Ears should sit.
Oh my god..... im sure the days without an accident sign will come in handy with you brandishing that knife 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣 Best unboxing laugh upto now mate 🤘 Regards funky
I started asking my self WHY an unboxing video of 38:58 minutes! Then emerged the natural sense of humour of Marty & Family (I'm still laughing! :D) and i understood the whole thing: a little gem of plain honest FUN. Thanks Marty! Please don't split your channel: makeovers & unboxing videos are the finest mix that no other "Diecast youtuber" have! Best regards Marty, you are the best!...
I love the mailbag videos, we get a chance to see what all the generous people from around the world have sent you. As far as I'm concerned, the longer the video, the better :)
I like the Unboxing to see, always a surprise. Nice coins and other gifts. You don't have to cut the letters. Another humorous episode. Very nice to show everything on a channel.
Thanks Marty and family....I haven’t laughed so much in years when you cut the letter up....love these unboxing vids...anyone that doesn’t watch them is missing out :)
Love the sign XYZ days without an accident.....lol! 😊 And don't feel bad about the unboxing videos, yeah, I skip through them now after a while, but its your channel, great fans following you so makes sense to keep it all here on one channel... you're a RUclips treasure now mate.
Hi Mate. Your laughter was so catching...... I'm still carrying on 😂😂😂 And about the second channel... I agree with you. Keep it all "beneath one roof" 👍 Thanks for brighten up my week, while I'm looking forward to saturday evening and a new makeover. Greetings from the "hot" northsea-shore (it's about 35 C here or to say it in australian: "Time to pull the jumper off "😉😁😁😁) 👍👍👍😉😁 P.S. "Praha" means Prague 😉
Pine Grove Louisiana. Jumbalaya is a Cajun food dish, with rice, meat(alligator, sausage or even snake). Porta toilets are used on construction jobs, to take a number 1 or poop
Marty the unboxing videos are an education and a bonus we used to have Saturdays and now we've got mid week as well to me that's as good as it gets we see what you got and we see what you do keep it up mate
Another great video! Mid-week unboxing, weekends restoration works fine with me. Can't wait for your 100,000th subscriber. Do what you please, but I strongly urge you to stay 1953-1969 Lesney only. Any size or style, King Size, Major Pack, Models of Yesteryear included, but NO Tootsietoy or Hotwheels, please!! Offer them to specialty collectors. Thank you. Also, I ordered what I thought was a 1950's #2 Muir Hill Dumper and received the cast driver only. Silly me. I'm sending him on to you since I don't need such a specialty item. Still looking for a mint with box #2. Best wishes always.
Anthony Taylor hearing the three of them laughing had me laughing. Then my stupid ass reminded it and watch it again. It was just as stupid funny the second time. 😂
Those white things are model PORTALOOS. The train is the Duke Of Connault steam train. Loved the laughing fits & my hubby keeps giving me funny looks cos I'm giggling along too.
Hi marty I recently found your chanel and enjoy seeing old things made useful again and your humor is great and your as mad as a cut snake keep up the good work cheers russ
3:28 Those are portable toilet closets. Here in the States we usually call them "Port-a-potties". You find them in parks, out door events like town fairs, construction sites. Just a portable bathroom really, cuz when you gotta go... you GOTTA GO! LOL Think back in the old days before indoor plumbing, you had to trot off to an outhouse to piddle. That's what those are. It must be 2am Marty's time, he's got the punch drunk giggles!
Marty, the two small white objects from the first package are portajohns. AKA: portapotties, portalets (portable toilets). Don't know about "Down Under", but in the U.S., they're usually blue or green. Keep the videos coming!!!
Hi Marty if you see this I want to say I enjoy your videos and they are relaxing to watch . Btw tootsie made some model that you are not aware of , they make some planes , cars and a ton of train engines like steam engines and diesel locomotive . I should know because I got a bag of them from my father , btw I would be careful around some of the edges of the tootsie model because they tend to break if bent out of place . Anyways I hope this info was helpful and I can't wait to see your next video
First, I love the unboxings. Second, those are Porta-potties, aka porta-loos, transportable restrooms. Generally spotted at construction sites and festivals. The "unusual looking tool" is a spudger. It's generally for prying apart delicate plastic components without marring them. If I had a guess, it'd be great for popping basses off of cars without potentially damaging them.
I like the unboxings. Gives us a sneak peek at upcoming projects! Plus it's just really cool seeing what the fans are sending your way. Wish I could contribute myself but like a fool I gave all my die casts away keep it up though. Love the videos!
Man you are a very dangerous guy with a cutter in your hands you must look for a job at secret service shredding clasified docs! haha .Love you and your good sense of humour ! .
LOL Port-a-johns at 3:20 aka portable toilets found at construction sites or outdoor concerts, you might call them a portable or outside bog, outhouse, dunny, etc
Marty loved this unboxing fancy someone spending you a really sharp knife to help you to do untold damaged to the boxes and letters couldn't stop laughing for 5 minutes or so keep up the good work.
Only recently discovered your brilliant channel Marty and so working my way through your videos. This one was so funny, I was in hysterics too when you cut through the letter! 🤣😂 Such an excellent, feel good channel Marty, please keep it up!, Love the unboxings as well as the restorations, the Lightning Jet was excellent too - which surprised me as I thought I would much prefer the cars. Definitely inspiring me to try and find some models to restore myself and see if "I'm happy with that too!" Peace and respect, Ben
Back when I was a boy, when rocks were just dirt with aspirations, Tootsie cars could be purchased in blister packs. I cannot remember how many came in a pack, but I do recall the bright red of the cardboard under the clear plastic and all the different cars. Tootsies last a long time because they are so simple and made from very durable material. I found one where my old sand box had been and though the paint was pretty bad and the axels were rusty, the body was in fine shape after more than forty years exposed to the elements.
With all the crap on RUclips MMM is a delight to watch. I have no interest in Matchbox cars but I love watching these videos. They are humorous, entertaining and informative. Marty's enthusiasm is very infectious. Keep up the good work!
Laughter certainly is contagious. Thanks for a great start to the day.
At one point Marty starts to sound like
Riff Raff the dog. 🐶
Glad that you like the challenge coins and that they arrived unscathed :-)

Watching Marty crack himself up is priceless! Got too carried away with his new knife! So it's always 0 days without an accident!
Oh my god Marty, I'm still laughing. Thanks for not editing out the "shredding" segment. Whatever you do, don't stop posting your unboxing videos.
When feeling a little down, I always turn to this video to brighten up my days and put a smile on my face.
Yay! You got the world map, and you wondered if you'd be able to use all those magnetic clamps? :-)

I was working there for 6 months. I wondered what I did to annoy the Boss! Lol
All tracks, tank, bulldozer or whatever would pop off while you were pushing them across the floor even right out of the box. As a kid i wanted the tracks to move while i was driving, the other choice was hold the toy slightly off the floor so they didnt touch.
I enjoy the unboxing to see your reaction to the contents of the parcels and I think it's a part of the whole process of the restoration.
Your laugh is infectious! I felt a bit of a fool sitting here alone and laughing aloud, but heck! I enjoyed every minute. Thank you, and I am glad that you are not splitting off the unboxing videos - they are part and parcel of your channel.
We never get bored with your opening shows. The longer the better. " I say I like that."
Fabulous! I knew you'd find a use for all those magnetic clamps. The map looks great with a frame on it!
I enjoy the unboxing vids. I like seeing all the cars I remember and those I have never heard of. Also I think they have become an important part of what you do as it shows the inspiration you have given to other modellers and to show appreciation to those who donate to you. Keep em' going.

Marty that tool is called a spudger in the UK it’s a prying tool. Usefully for taking the chassis of your cars after you drill out the rivets.

Marty, the two small white objects from the first package are portajohns. AKA: portapotties, portalets (portable toilets). Don't know about "Down Under", but in the U.S., they're usually blue or green. Keep the videos coming!!!
Also the flattened penny seemed to have The Ten Commandments on it.
Love these unboxing videos! Keep up the great restoration work 🚗
Only recently discovered your brilliant channel Marty and so working my way through your videos.
It's Great Entertainment Marty' never boring ...great variety along with the great restoration skills'
You're "moment" gave me the best laugh of my day!!! Rock on,love this channel!!!
Another fun unboxing video. Thanks, Marty!
Fantastic unboxing video marty. I thoroughly enjoy them.. just make sure you keep them going mate
With all the crap on RUclips MMM is a delight to watch. I have no interest in Matchbox cars but I love watching these videos. They are humorous, entertaining and informative. Marty's enthusiasm is very infectious. Keep up the good work!
