Can you tell me what video setting they used? i have a gopro black edition+ and i don't know wich to use for pov or recording freeruning ? 1080 super view? 720 super view? 60 fps?
Im 18 and at the verge of beginning my life on my own and watching this was so inspiring I'm about to start AFF and I couldn't be more stoked. These two people are incredibly awesome and this video was so encouraging. Thanks GoPro and thank you two'
Yes but its the process that is interesting in base jumping. If you want safe parachuting go skydive... You climb 20 min sitting in airplane.... You jump.. 15min later you are on the ground...
Literally same. I’m drenched. It would have been so easy to scoot across that gap before climbing to the top and it had me mad that they were risking their lives for that. You’re already about to jump off a cliff just get there safely. Their badass levels are high enough already.
Just like seeing yourself on a trip out in the blue ... right Adam ! We could go there next weekend ... you wanna come ? Some years back I had to jumps from an airplane but I too had to borrow a freight parachute from the Danish Navy because of my size ... I think I have to borrow one more if you wanna go too - right ? I would bee afraid the pillar would break to pieces if we try to crawl up on one of these pillars. ... but WAV, what view and pictures ... just amazing !
Mad respect to Hayley and Marshall. I was literally sweating watching you two slowly make your way to the jumping point. My hands are wet. Almost couldn't watch.
RedYps23 Well, there is nothing that makes me nervous because there is nothing that mention the accidental event that happened in this video, you know how it ends, just concentrate on the technique of climbing over the canyon and base jumping not on what is going to happen to these alpinists. The aim of this video is to show different angles of the GoPro and the adventurous enthusiasm that pushed these alipinists for such a challenge.
This is by far the best GoPro video I've ever seen - absolutely superb - gives a brilliant idea of the level of exposure - not to be watched if you suffer from vertigo
I'll tell you one thing I have gone skydiving. Didn't flinch. Didn't panic. Not even one bit. But just watching them at the tip of those rocks? I was weak
Krawna the edit of this video is awesome really good build up to when the jumped. made my legs kind of weak just as well I was sitting down when I watched this video.
I agree. But did you go tandem? Cause going solo is a bit of a different story. The feels are a little different when YOU have all the nylon on your back. Gets less stressful after quite a few jumps.
Rosie Low if the ring gets caught on or between something, your body keeps falling but the ring doesnt Normally your skin can slip but the angle isn't forgiving
Awesome! Props to her. The block on top of that tower is small and wobbly. The exposure is crazy. I could barely stand up, took a picture, and sat my ass back down. One of the most memorable climbs I’ve done
One for my bucketlist. When I do things in my life, the hardest part is coming back to the world. Though I get stoked, I also realize I'm not getting any younger. Coming back to the world is a letdown. If I could I'd never come back. Just keep going and going and going.
Absolutely stunning! Bad ass believe in yourself demonstration. Total confidence, totally letting go. Litterally breathtaking, as well is the scenery. Thank you for this amazing video and inspiration!
An epic location with brilliant quality and a well told story. I find it amazing that we are able to share sights like this from all around the world. The only thing that could make this better is either when GoPro can do 4k in 60 frames per second or actually going to these locations and experiencing the same thing.
***** Ya, thats what I have, really bad case as a child, little better as an adult but to the point I couldnt even open my eyes or id get sick at a stadium or the rocky mts. This video made my hands sweat so bad i needed a towel! Now a days i understand the difference between the two, fear of heights and Vertigo.
This was one of the most awesome videos yet. Its unimaginable to me to be able to stand up and be sooooo calm like you did on the top of the towers! You guys are bad!!!!!!
thewishkah hey man, I’m going to do my first skydive this year. What’s the progression from first tandem to first solo? How expensive it it from first to first solo?
Selfie Stick strapped to her Back pack, there are back pack, which are sold with one mounted vertically, in this case it was mounted to its side, the editing is the most amazing to me. I always come back to this video, the scenery, attitude of the jumpers and music all together forms this magical feeling that is undescribable. I'm always smiling from begining to end :D
Thank you pasta) once i find companions who does it or wanna do it like me, i'll maybe do it too. Also it's scary... But I can and want to fight fear. But my life is just different. And money are spent on different. I guess it's just i adjust my life to my girlfriend and people around me. So i need proper people around me...
@@obezijana I went alone, I do everything alone now. Nobody wants to do the same stuff I do so I go on my own all the time. It's only scary before you jump, after it it's the most peaceful thing there is
This is inspiring) thanks, 2 years ago i jumped on a swing rope on El Capitan in Yosemite. Started raining, i'm not a pro climber, no climber shoes on me, got dark, and i'm sitting on the slippery ledge of the rock scared and regretting i climbed there. But once i put on the harness and jumped, i felt safe in the air) it was great! If you say it's the same in basejumping then i'm sooo inspired right now))
Wow, this is unbelievable - very well done. I would love to have tried this when I was younger. My wife & 2 boys are now the priority so I will have to enjoy "safer" adventures.
when you go do that kind of things with someone is becasue you really trust that person, she want a pin check before jump, and he say you are okay and she trust him....
Looks great but it seems to me that the risk-reward is messed up. They risk their entire lives for each single thrill. I'm willing to risk my life for some things but it would have to be something much greater.
I give You Both A HIGH FIVE for doing that, I Hope to Skydive some Day I Just Turned 57 on May 7th and I hope to do it soon, I have watched this Video at Least 100 times and I still Love it.

Probably the most intense Gopro video I've ever watched.
I mean wow.
Scariest part for me wouldn’t be the jump, it’d be the climb
Exactly what I was thinking. Lots of harder moves in there
Nah

Just felt my hands after I read your comment and yeah, agreed...

Great storytelling that shows the contrast between the two jumpers. This may become my favorite GoPro video.

What an amazing, inspirational & heart pumping video. The palms of my hands are all sweaty now just thinking about that jump!!
At 1:49 - PLEASE TAKE OFF YOUR RINGS if you're rock climbing ಠ_ಠ
