This was so so helpful! Most videos are so geared toward injuries and they were not applicable. And I love how you addressed symptom relief AND strengthening/mobility. Thank you!
Thank you so much ! I been dealing with exactly what you described. I get pains and aches with pulling and pushing movements down the delt to the tricep area. Will give this a try.
Surprised this really helped! I had trouble with presssing movements because there was an ache on my shoulder. I massage the part where you placed the ball, and i can lift my arm up and down now without the weird aching sensation. Thank you!
Thank you so much for this. Your videos are very helpful and I appreciate the effort you make in explaining physiology so we can understand. Wondering what is your thinking is on the effectiveness of using the Dynasplint to stretch a shoulder after rotator cuff repair surgery which developed adhesions. Thank you!
Thank you TIM for your videos. they are very helpful and educative. I am coming from a limited motion due to supraspinatus tendon tear and bicep tendon tear. I gain mobility already however I still can't do the abduction motion when my elbow is bent 90 degrees, I can do it with straight arm. @Physio Fitness | Physio REHAB | Tim Keeley - What stretch or exercise would you recommend?
My shoulders were so good ready for winter weight training and i went skating with my son and took a spill. Back to sqaure on. My shoulder is so mess up now. Cant even put my jacket on. 😭
I got left shoulder impingement, i lack a lot of shoulder extension and intra rotation, i'm doing mobility, stability and active end range work, how many times a week should i do this routine to see results in mobility without doing too much? BTW GREAT CHANNEL!!!
Have you ever had a patient with shoulder flexion around 150-160° and been able to get them to 180°? My shoulders have always been terrible mobility wise and after a rotator cuff injury this year I've been working with a physio to improve it (and it's been going well) but my mobility just seems to be stuck. I've never met anyone with as bad of a range as me, so I'm feeling a little hopeless about it being able to actually improve?
So, I have been to 2 different doctors and both say I have a rotator cuff problem. I had an injection and that helped tremendously. It helped for 3 months and the pain is coming back. Both doctors said I need p t. Here’s the thing I’m concerned about. My therapist is working on the posterior capsule. So, they have me working on the sleeper stretch. I feel like it’s not doing anything for the part of my shoulder that hurts.
I hurt my shoulder during cable chest flys 6 months back and the pain is not going away. The pain is in traps, delts, lats, upper back and rhomboid area and the shifts from left shoulder to right side in 2-3 days. I even had a mri and X-ray. But they came out normal. I visited 3 different doctors and 2 physiotherapist but i didn’t see much difference. I am really helpless. Can you advise me what to do? Will these exercises help?
What if the posterior deltoid is the problem? My posterior delt is very sore always. I do rotor cuff work and it doesn’t really help. When I do some exercises for the posterior delt it seems very weak and sore?
@@physiorehab allot. I have a chronic weakness/dysfunction/compensation somewhere. Seems like shoulder stability issue. Mobility, stretching and release really doesn’t provide any solution. I’m seeing a shoulder specialist Physio in a few weeks to help me. The lats, teres and serratus area is cramps and there is chronic tightness and discomfort. Need to get to the bottoms of it as I think my upper traps and levator scap are really struggling
Hi man. Does this video fix my issue? So i have been gaming for years and sleeping on bad form (2-3year)? My left shoulder feels weak and doesnt like crack but makes like *krr* voices when i raise it or spin my arm. It also looks different than my right shoulder. So basically when i play tennis i try to play left hand its weak and feels so like idk how to describe it. Yes. I feel the pain in the "triangle" so yeah hopefully you can chat with me and help me with my problem since i went to doctor. A year ago and they said to like spin and stretch it but it feels it doesn't help. There isnt like anybody specially trained to help with these problems in my city and if there was i cant afford. So yeah. Also when i do gym some exercises i feel bad. Like when you do shoulder press dumbell. Or lateral raises even without weight i do the motion it feels like so weak. Please help and lets figure out this together. I am 15 i have future shead of me :( Edit: reply to the comment if u want to help me. Im active watching comments I hope the video fixes my problem :) Edit: also i think me left shoulder is up than my right
They could be a neck problem or pressure on the brachial plexus from the anterior part of the ball of the shoulder being forward - best get that assessed

Thanks Tim. Very timely for me as I have terrible pain in this shoulder area.
Hope that helps you!
Good tips, I recently pulled my arm during hiking and followed a set of physiotherapy exercises with weights and bands which helped me a lot. Thanks 🙏
Glad it helps!
This is exactly what I needed. Thank you!

Start off with 3 times per week and see how it goes
I’ve got that after total replacement. So sore and tight.
Hope this helps!

Yes. Perhaps you have had frozen shoulder and still have joint tightness and muscle guarding

Were you ever able to work out again after your shoulder surgery?
Back to normal!

It’s easier to help you if you have had an assessment and proper diagnosis.
@@physiorehab well we dont have experts but i bet its muscle problem. Like it feels weaker alot and i never been on accidents
