Brad do you ever do a spring cleaning of waypoints?? I’ve noticed some of my older brush is playing out and not producing. I have been deleting to cut down on the clutter. Love the idea of colors for different types of waypoints, gonna go thru mine and sort by color. Great show. Thanks!!

      Yes
I might change the color to a different color if it’s not as productive

I want to start trying this but need to set my jon boat up with rod holders. In Illinois if I am by myself I can only use 2 poles. How would you position them? Get them as far away from the boat as possible or what? Right now I only have one 10ft pole, next longest is 7'6".

I would definitely recommend a long Pole on the outside 16 or 18 footer

How much jig head color do you worry about? I have heard you talk about line visibility, color of plastic, profile vs speed, and jig size. How far do you go into all the variables? - thanks for teaching us as much as you entertain us.

Great episode. Do you pull crankbaits too and if so what determines when to pull cranks or jigs?

I pull crankbaits as well. I rather pull jigs don’t loose as crappie off the hooks compared to crankbaits. Pull crankbaits only if they want that big profile . Possibly to cover more water
