Something I learned from being a cake decorator is you can layer your colors on saran wrap and roll it up and cut off the end and then place it into your pastry bag for piping. It gives you the same effect and it saves you from wasting a pastry bag ;)

I’ll address this once more. I do not work from home, I have an office space that I make my products in. I don’t even live in this apartment anymore. This video was clearly me showing my technique and that’s it. I do not sell anything that i film on camera. No i do not wear gloves for cross contamination purposes, does your favorite starbucks or cafe wear gloves when preparing your drink? do your favorite restaurant worker were gloves? no. This is simply my preference, if you don’t agree, you don’t have to shop with me. There are many other bodycare businesses who might suit your needs.

there are many tutuorials and recipes on youtube! just work out the ratio of oils to butters that work for you, unfortunately i’m also starting out and i’m not sure about the properties and stuff like that. just make sure to not use more oil than solid butters so that it will not be too runny, and try to avoid using coconut oil because it melts at room temperature and is thus unreliable.

Was curious what brand of fragrance oils and colorants you use? So many brand's fragrances have a sort of industrial undertone that makes them smell cheap. And I LOVE how vibrant your colors are!

This is awesome! I'm wondering if you could share what you use for the colouring? Is it like mica powder? Or something specific for body butter

What would you say your storing temperature is? I sell body butters sometimes at pop up shops and when it’s warm outside they end up melting. Or say if I make a full batch and need to storage them in my home. Would you leave them out or put them in the refrigerator?
