The Netflix documentary Turning Point: The Bomb and the Cold War, did an even worse job and outright introduced Trump at the end of the show. It was crazy.
A friend of mine who thinks Trump is the Antichrist recommended that documentary to me. I watched about half of it and saw how they went out of their way to link to Trump. Now I know where she gets her ideas. No independent thinking whatsoever.
There was a PBS program recently that talked about the Fascism in America, and the American Nazi party in the 1930s. It had a short clip of Mussolini and he said something about how America could be great or Italy, or something. The important thing was that he had the words "making it great." It was him standing in his back yard sort of scene. He also said it in English. Did Mussolini even speak English at all? It just smelled like a deepfake. Ken Burns' documentary on immigration and the Holocaust about a year ago was also entirely made to take shots at Trump.
That really turned me off to Ken Burns. I had always enjoyed his documentaries but listening to him, I thought, you too. What is it that the socialist left have planned for us that President Trump is such a threat?
I watched 1.5 episodes and turned it off for all the reasons you mention. Even The NY Times flagged the bias and propaganda. I let a friend talk me into watching this embarrassing piece of trash and I’m sorry I did.

I watched Klavan discuss Candance - which by the way is the logical place to make these tired comments - and it all seemed pretty even keel to me. I like both of them.
