La magnificence à l'état pur.
This is wonderful! Thank you for posting it.
One of the best performances of this joyous piece. You know they're good when the natural horns play without any bleeps or bloops.

Very enjoyable and joyously done. We'll done everyone.
I find the many omissions (for example, "As Steals the Morn") from this video to be very odd indeed.

Chunks of this were "borrowed" by composer Bernard Herrmann and adapted into his score for the classic Twilight Zone episode 'Walking Distance.'
나에게 핸델이 없었다면 나는 얼마나 황량했을까. 핸델이 있는 영국이 너무나 부럽다.
Wonderful performance, but it’s not the full version is it?
No. The full work (at least as performed by the benchmark recording made by EBS and the Monteverdi Choir, conducted by Sir John Eliot Gardiner many years ago) runs substantially longer. It's a pity the wonderful performers here did not perform it in its entirety, especially as the tenor, Gwilym Bowen and soprano, Mary Bevan, are outstanding.
No, it's not. I think the entire 'Moderato' has been left out. Pity, as Mel Cadman says below, the tenor and soprano are outstanding. I also love the full (?) version conductor by John Eliot Gardiner, plus the one by the Gabrieli Consort with conductor Paul Creesh. One of my most favourite pieces of music ever!
why so few inches ? internet mysteries...
Couper l’aria du rire !!! Étrange !!!!
