I've moved to a flat some time ago and can't really drum anymore, so these videos are pretty much all I have when it comes to drumming, just wanted to leave my thanks for that
You should consider buying an electrical drum set. I bought one a couple of months ago (Yamaha DTX 450K), and it might not feel as good as the acustic drum kit, but it's something that i can play in my flat without bothering anyone, besides the fact that i can record my playing in studio quality, and stuff like that. If you buy one, buy the ezdrummer, or torrent it, it makes a hell of a difference, the souns of the module are the crappiest thing ever (dull sounds, 0 difference between a hard and a soft hit, etc.), but with the ezdrummer it sounds like the kit in the video.
Manuel Torino I actually did. There's a cheap-ass eDrum kit right next to me as I type, but it also makes a surprisingly large amount of noise that can easily be heard next door. The flat also happens to be mostly inhabited by quiet older folk, so... I have played it a couple of times, but it's just not the same when you can't go nuts and play to your heart's content, and the feel and sound is so different. On top of that you also kinda feel ashamed at all times while playing because you're potentially disturbing the neighbors. I'm kinda glad it's there but I can only play it on very rare occasions. Ezdrummer I will have to look into though, sounds amazing. As I said, the kit I have is cheap as balls, so it really, REALLY doesn't sound too great
Scrawny McAwesome I don't play much as well, like half an hour a day or so, and i would play less if it wasn't for the ezdrummer, it really makes the difference, for me at least, because my acustic drum kit consisted of a cheap 5 piece (i didn't know how to tune very well, so the sound wasn't the best), and a pair of orion hi hats and chrash, i have a few videos i think. With the program i could play in an expensive kit with expensive cymbals, and well, that motivates me to play it, but i wouldn't play as much if i heard the original module sounds. I don't find mine to make a lot of noise, i mean, if there is a wall between me and the drumkit and someone plays it, i don't hear it that much, besides, old people have bad hearing, hahaha, don't be afraid to play whenever you want to. It is true that you can't hit it as hard as you would hit the acustic, or have the same feel in the cymbals, but well, it's the best second option, hahaha.
Manuel Torino Holy balls, you weren't kidding. After a little tinkering around to get close to 0 latency, I can officially say that these drums have never sounded this good, not even close. I might have to actually start bothering my neighbors. It's fiiine, I'll give'm a good show. Seriously though, thanks a bunch dude. You've brought my drums back to life
Hey man i follow yoy two mounts ago more or less (sorry for my bad english im argentinian) and you are a grat drummer in technique and felling and everithing. Just this you are amazing and you do a grat job. God drumming! (Im drummer to)

I'm not sure if it's the same for you, but everytime I watch drum covers they get me pumped to go play.
