- UPDATE APRIL 2, 2018: Gwen "accidentally" trapped a pregnant feral cat, so we are going to see how she does sharing a room with Chloe. Chloe (ginger + white) and Ramona (black) are from the same colony, so it is likely they know each other. There are two nests in the room, and plenty of space for both of them.
Ramona is younger than Chloe, probably around 18 months old, and is likely due around the same time as Chloe. We will post updates as we find out more.
It’s official! We’re on #KittenWatch!

UPDATE March 24: Chloe is scheduled for an exam and radiographs on Wednesday to check for kittens, check her lungs (they sound a bit wheezy), and do bloodwork.
Chloe will be part of our new project to map the DNA of her feral cat colony. tinykittens.com...
Chloe is a feral cat who was trapped on March 23, 2018 because she appeared to be pregnant. Our intake exam revealed she is also in need of dental surgery. The plan is to observe and confirm she is pregnant, and see how receptive she is to socialization.
If she is pregnant, she will have her last litter of kittens in safety and then mom and kittens will all be spayed/neutered. If not pregnant, she will be spayed, have dental surgery and then we will determine if she is a candidate for socialization and adoption while she recovers.
Chloe comes from a colony that started with more than 230 feral cats. We have done Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) on 90% of this colony, and have socialized and adopted more than 100 cats and kittens. We provide daily feeding and care to the remaining cats as we continue to socialize and adopt out any willing cats. More at tinykittens.com...

UNCENSORED RESCUE REALITY
This is uncensored rescue reality TV - we give the best care we possibly can, but sometimes we have sick cats/kittens, poo, live births, and any number of other things.
Concerning Trolls: Ignore them. That's what they hate the most. Their goal is to upset you so you yell at them. They think this is funny.
Thank mew so much to everyone who is watching!
Instant purrs with the butt scratches! The spit didn't seem sincere...more like a habit. "I have to spit, I'm feral and mean. But those scratches sure feel good...and this food isn't bad either..."
Chloe purred herself to sleep. She was so happy to finally have a friend in the room with her. Happy they were both rescued.
Just taking a look back now when Ramona arrived and how much has happened since then. They turned out to be very good for each other. Ramona being there supporting and caring for Chloe when she gave birth to her babies. Now they are happily co-parenting 9 "steal your heart" kittens. :)
I remember hoping Ramona would stay on as a cat midwife.
But she wanted to go home to the Forest.
The beginning of the Chlomance.
So funny that they were worried Chloe and Ramona wouldn't get along #Clomance #coparenting
Ramona is the cutest black cat with beautiful eyes i've ever seen on youtube so far...😍
This was when I 1st started watching tinykittens!! I've been a fan ever since. I can't believe it's been 2 years in April since I've been watching.
Love the way Shelly talks to the kitties all the time. To keep us informed but also for them to get used to her soft, calm voice.
my "cuddliest cat i have EVER had" orange tabby boy took two months before he quit freaking out at me talking to him (his mama had him and his gone-too-soon sis under my place so i ended up with kittens.) i talk to mine all the time, and i think it helped socializing them, too, although it might have been part of why he's very much a one-person cat.
Aww they're so precious, very pretty girls. I'm glad they got rescued. I hope they have a long happy life.
Love Ramona's big saucer eyes. Chloe's so sweet.
Not all cats need humans some cats are happy being feral but it’s great they have these programs so that way they’re not continuously breeding.
Mason's kitten cup will run over!!!
she looks like Toothless the dragon became a cat! Wide wide green eyes on a midnight-black face with pointy ears. So beautiful
Mary Cole i was just about to say that lol
I'm surprised to see chloe so friendly with humans even if she came from a feral cat colony. Shes probably been fed by humans and that's how she was socialized to them. Shes got a great elevator butt 😂
They''re both so pretty. I really love gingers and I love black cats.
This is so sweet!!! You do such an amazing job taking care of these animals! I adopted a feral kitten and they take a lot of extra attention but once they get comfortable with you they are just like any other cat.
I wish I could do this for a living. I love cats and learning about them.
I rescued 7 feral kittens at 4 weeks old. The two mothers of the kittens stop feeding them. I had had to bottle feed and potty them. They are now 4 months old and I have made appointments for the to be sprayed and neutered. Two have been adopted to good homes and I have the other 5 kittens🐾💖
Me too
I love black cats! This is just adorable! This is such a bonus!!! Two pregnant cats.
This was the start of a beautiful friendship
The blanket looks my son's favorite blanket I keep on the sofa. He will fall asleep on it when watching long movies (anything over an hour and a half).
The beginning of the Chlomance
Awe Chloe is adopted and Ramona has gone back to HF today, I wish them both to be happy, and Ramona to be socialised if that’s what she wants.
Why do I cry when I watch these videos
I was jumping up and down from excitement when I heard this news. This is wonderful news for Chloe!
And now they're BFFs. Ramona was such a good helper!
It's funny with ferrals, because obviously from their past, they will be afraid and won't want to around humans. But if only they knew that with a good human, comes security, love, good food, comfort and being totally spoiled, I'd like to think that if they knew, they would so much more accepting of help.
StephieAck what makes a cat, 'Feral'?
A feral cat is one that was born in the 'wild', not around humans. A stray is generally one that has once been a pet and then left that situation and began to live in the 'wild'. So yep, feral is one that was born out there.
StephieAck Sadly it's the same with puppy mill dogs. I adopted oonr from a shelter, we were told he came from a breeder. But ended up was a puppy mill. It is so sad and a tough road for everyone. Very slow process.
We got our dog from what was supposed to be a small breeder, to later find out that they were a puppy mill too. Our dog has been like a money drain, has literally cost us thousands in vet bills over his ten years, with no sign of stopping. If I had only known they weren't just nice people selling their litter :( Our cats were rescues though, which I must say I prefer that.
StephieAck I agree about adopting rescues, that's what we always do. And I'm sorry your dog experience was such a financial drain. I can't imagine. The emotional drain was at times very hard, and even that caused family stress. We did end up getting a second dog, which did help the first one come out of his shell more, but it still was tough. And as tough as it was, I know that when he did pass away two years ago, he definitely knew he was loved and as special as a dog could be. You definitely learn to be grateful for the smallest things. Like my rescue friend had told me, it can be like watching paint dry. And I can't even say what I think of puppy mill owners. :(
The littlest hobo!I remember how my youngest daughter used to cry every time we watched that tv series and me too I couldn't bear to see an animal without a home!
It does seem like they knew each other from back in the day.
Just shows even feral babies need love
Awww her friend is in the background re assuring her from the beginning PRICELESS
What big eyes you have, Ramona!
I once saw two cats who delivered about the same time raising their kittens together. One would stay and nurse all the kittens, while the other one was out getting food or just getting some alone time. Then they would switch and the other momcat would take care of the kittens for a while.
prophetic
Yeah, it happens a lot. The females often work together. Specially sisters.
It's what feral momcats do to protect their kittens.. especially in a large colony with several moms. To protect their kittens from predators and other toms who kill litters just to make the mom go into heat again
werelemur1138 Females will raise one another's kitten, but only if they have some kind of familial bond like mother/daughter or siblings. I don't know about being from the same colony, since I've never observed that kind of situation. One thing I saw that blew me away was a tom taking care of what obviously were his kittens. I was always told that toms kill kittens, but this guy chirped to them and led them off to learn to hunt, and Mama was totally cool with it. The more I see, the more I learn.
@@erynlasgalen1949 it's really really dependent on the cat afaict. for instance, dude Siberian forest cats are notably more likely to actually daddy up for their kittens (presumably because that tendency meant a) dude kittens saw dads being dads and b) co-parented kittens definitely get a survival edge in that harsh a situation so it got bred in AND socialized in), on the other hand, some random dude cats will actually co-parent theirs too, so yeah, "the more you see the more you learn" is pretty accurate.
That black cat is perfection! 🤗
Andru S Those beautiful eyes are everything ❤
The senario is more than succesful. Chloe and Ramona are best friends for life. Well done.
Awww.....what pretty kitties!! Just hearing those loud purrs is very relaxing. They got along very well for sure-how amazing. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Dear mammas you're going to be fine God willing. You're in good hands.
Thank you for the caring of the homeless cats, they're the most abused, mistreated bc stupid superstitions.
I love black pearls. What a beautiful Onix !! ❤❤
These two Mommies are perfect together, can't wait to see the menagerie! I think Mason, Risque and Chloe are the perfect adults to raise all those babies toether!
15:15 was priceless, just her face just pops in the frame...
The beginning of the Chlomance!
Nobody knows more about cats than Shelley and staff!
Chloe is like a female version of our male orange/white kitty. Hope she will start enjoying her new environment soon!
My black beauty is sitting on me watching Chloe and purring
I love black cats! This is just adorable! This is such a bonus!!! Two pregnant cats.
Awww, Ramona is a beauty!
You can see that cats feel pride too.
Poor little Ramona. She looks terrified. Hopefully it will work out with her and Chloe together and they can become friends and mommies together.

You can watch how they're doing right here: ruclips.net/video/PowGFq6X3Co/видео.html
18:03 Other cat has FOOD! Good friend to have dinner waiting.
She must have been really hungry. Thank you for taking them in, kitten over stock.
i miss chloe shes such a good mommy
had a thought on that topic (feral + human+tame cat(s). what about a small room divider installed along the center of a room made of a nice clear plexiglass? it could be high enough to discourage jumping to the other side, yet provide protection against fights. the human(s) and cat(s) could interact lovingly on the one side, as the feral(s) observe! thus we have a great deal of interacting and learning taking place, along w/ establishment of trust on some possible level! ambitious but certainly well worth a special project, even as a study! the feral could watch and listen to many number of activities on the parts of the people and cats, both together as well as alone...
Hahah look at these two now! The best co-mommies
How long did it take for Chloe and Ramona to become snuggle buddies after introduction?
ohhh that purr
That beautiful black cat looks like Toothless.
I came here from watching Chloe's birthing video and felt sure she was Ramona's mom as the bond seemed so strong between them. Chloe looked scared at first, then, "Bah, I'm too pregnant and tired for this! Whatever!" *Drifts off to sleep cus can't be bothered*. Ramona looks terrified, "OMG! There's another cat in here and she's HUUUUGE! - Check for the escape routes. Don't think I'll be able to get out in my condition". *Sits completely still - don't blink or she will see me*. Can't wait to see what happens next! Oh, I don't have to wait - moves on to next video immediately! Poo
I'm in Greece right now and I am feeding stray feral cats. there is one in particular that needs help. I can't set a trap because I will catch so many others so my question is , will she be okay if I try and grab her when I see her, ? I only have a week left and I need to act fast but I don't want to hurt her. Do you recommend anything else?
john
John, I won't try to physically try it because they can hurt you. Try to see if you can rent a cat trap from your veterinarian. It's been a couple of months since your post and I hope the cat is ok. I'm still sporting scars from my daughter cat when I tried to give him a bath. It was bad but I still love him🐱🐾
Did u help her? Did it work out? If not don't respond because I will worry the rest of my days
Thank god for Shelly
Just amazing. Thank you for all you do.
Love Gwen's accidents. Thank you
She has a loud purr! Sweet
God love her, but Shelly is so clumsy and loud, ha ha
So sweet! Looking very positive...
Revisiting this vid after both kits birthed babies, what a difference: from fear, distrust and stress to sanctuary, peace, comfort and now best friends. Just looking at Ramona's large fear-filled eyes to her relaxed slits today brings tears and her & Chloe's bond. I am overjoyed with Shelly and TKs unbelievably good work and the success for these beautiful cats and there babies...Rula too!
So far so good it looks like
I always thought Chloe was the orange tabby cat
She is...
They are a bonded pair and are tame enough for someone to adopt. They should never be .
I miss them so much🐾💖
Ramona is really hungry, look like there was white specks in food, is that vitamins?.what a pretty girl
Always loved and never forgotten sweet Chloe..😢
She's wary at first when the human comes in... and then she's fussed. I think she's starting to warm up to us
I haven't seen any pictures of Ramona at the feeding station in a long time. I hope she's doing okay and is just hanging out at Debbie's place near the colony.
awww.....everybody is friends!
Wow this is awesome. My cat just died 4 days ago.😭😭😭😭
Ramo na is a beautiful black kitty!! Looks just like my Nibblett did when she was here...now she's my angel kitty in rainbow heaven. Miss her.
Love everything you do for these cats/kittens. 😻😻😻😻😻
Leaky eyes, seeing our ChloBear. But happy she got four more good years, with all her medical issues.
The humans are so hectic. Shocking the cats with there sudden movement's.
The Clo-Mona duo! What a sweet enduring story of affection between 2 ferals and the litters they had.
19:19 holy sh*t they are coming to kill us!

I like the notes and generous, ample explanations of what is going on. We speak the same language; makes it easy. I watch Asian channels about feral street cats. No explanations or chronological dates. For instance, they have skinny mama Hope with her three kittens. They try to introduce a ginger cat, Tom, whom she violently rejects. A month later, there are new kittens with Hope and a ginger. "Hope finally accepted Tom." Commenters/viewers respond, "No. Different ginger kitten, they call him Tom again, because he has the same colors as the original Tom." I know English is not there language, they post, " Mamma Skelled. No Rike Tom. Tom Good Boy.Hope LeJect Tom."
You rather spay the feral cats including her.
She doesn’t seem feral. Just abandoned.
Don’t believe this is a feral cat stray maybe But not feral
I work for a vet…this cat is not feral.
The pregant cat needs tranquility to concentrate on the coming birth of her kittens and she doesn't feel like playing with the toys you keep sending her.Give her some water she might be thirsty! And leave her alone please!
Are you a cat expert??
Because you run a sanctuary for cats? That's how know more than these guys?
babycat wow this woman has been working with this colony for years. She has been taking care of pregnant ferals for years. It's amazing that every cat video produces criiques from people who have yet to rescue a special needs animal. This room is quiet spacious has viewing activities water and healthy food. These cats get great vet care. They need to be socialized so the kittens trust humans and can be adopted. After watching her work with Cassidy I have much faith in tinykittens. These cats get alot of love it's beautiful. I don't understand all these negative comments those people should put in some time at an animal control or a human society.
I'm surprise you would put to pregnant cat in the same box like that. I don't know much about cat but i don't think it's a good idea. I guess we'll see...
MustacheVerra they are likely already acquainted, as they are from the same colony. But they both let themselves get sleepy once the hairless ape left the room, so I'd guess they're OK with each other. Also, Chloe has already proven that she loves other cats, so not so risky, really.
MustacheVerra black cat is free to leave this nest whenever she wants.
Yeah, they're getting along pretty well.
