Arts Commons Presents The Queen's Cartoonists

The Queen’s Cartoonists (named after their borough of origin in New York) celebrate the role of jazz music in over 100 years of animation history around the world by providing a live soundtrack for characters like Betty Boop, Bugs Bunny, The Flintstones and even your favourite wall-crawling superhero. There may even be a few familiar pieces of Canadian animation!
Their heartfelt tribute to jazz in animation, combined with comedic anecdotes about the cartoonists and composers, make for an evening of rich entertainment across all generations.
