There could be several reasons for that. Keep the seedlings under a controlled temperature between 70 and 90 degrees Fahrenheit. Avoid overwatering and use pesticide if necessary.

I didn't even do this, I just took seeds from a ripe orange and put them in the soil and a two-leaved sprout came in two weeks.
