I went out and got both the weekend wrenchin and tip top shop. Waiting for number 3. Plan is to put them together with the Joes power plus service station. Love your builds. I get some good ideas from them. Thank you.
Awesome video! BTW, those tanks are often held in place with chains - you can probably find some miniature chain at a craft store that would translate to this scale pretty well. Looking forward to more videos!
I watched this video a couple of days ago and ordered the kit. Picked it up yesterday (I live near Round2) and started on it last night. Great fun, it reminds me of wrenchin' with my brother-in-law many, many years ago. Thank for the review.
I went to the website for the kits but nothing there. Not #1,2, or 3. The magnifying symbol is the search but nothing shows up with a "garage" in the results.
I have...I think it's a Fujimi... dio kit of a garage...complete with a lift. Has tools and what not. This would be a great addition to that, especially those decals!
You bet. MRC also sells/sold and entire gas station with signs and pumps. I'd like to see AMT make a service station with a light kit for this and the upcoming series of dio kits, would be awesome. Or a used car dealer with service bay.
Nice review and cool build. Not sure if you just review for Round2 or some hobby store, but if you are building an actual diorama for yourself I would recommend the Fujimi garage tool kits......much better molding and far better/finer scale and detail. That being said I might buy this kit just for the decals for my garage dio that I am working on. Thanks for the review
Also, where can i find the fujimi garage accessory sets. Everyplace i have looked at online says they are either out or discontinued. Store around here can't get them. I am in Omaha, Ne. Great shop here. A/k collectibles. Bellevue, Ne. He gets some older kits.
Ok question. When you say craft paint do you mean model paints or all the paints? I was big into moxels when i was younger, is good therepy by the way... Thinking of getting back into it. I was always into the big trucks. Did the C.F. doubles for my dad who drove for them. My model was displayed at C.F. Harrisburg before we moved out of state.... Like this kit, I remember a van with tools and a motorcycle in the old days
You just have to fold the paper and tape it together to make the box. For the flames, no idea, haven't worked on it in some time but if the flames fit, you can use them.
This is indeed a superb kit. The only negative part that I can find won't bother anybody that do not speak French, but who ever translate for Round2 should be fed to the Egyptian Royal Crocs! Seriously.
@@hpiguy also nice tip for flocking, that works fine for me. After I painted interior hub in a base color I let it dry completely, after that I spray it over with spray glue and them I'm aplayng flocking...
hmm nice addition for dio builds idk who makes it but have had a model kit garage that had a lift tool box air compressor just a few more parts than this
Mpc used to have diorama racing NASCAR accessories kits anyone remember them?! Auto world scale modeler magazine catalog and h.o. scale cars, tracks and parts accessories i grew up with my dad being a subscriber to them..
These were fun to do. Will look great for my diorama.

For sure Mark! Hoping maybe some day we'll see a gas station kit or garage kit with a lighting kit, would be awesome.
Nice review and build Chris! Thanks for showing this!!

Thank you, and thanks for watching the video and leaving a nice comment! Much appreciated!
@@hpiguy do you guys know if they are coming out with a remake of the 55 Chevy Badman. I heard it was discontinued
I hope you do the garage building. Trying to find a drive in diner or may have to scratch build one...
Check out 'Joe's Service Plus' kit, it's a sweet gas station garage kit that is being reissued and will get a full build up once I get a copy.
That is awesome I need to find this kit great work!!
Thanks Brando. Link is always in the description.
Cool stuff, thank Chris, didn't know that was out, I have the two Fujimi kits but I like the decal sheet on this one. Hope they are not too expensive.
Thanks! They run a little less than a regular car kit, link is in the description.
Great job! As always!☺
Thanks man!
I really like the didn't realize how the price went up over the last 50 years

Or a used car dealer with service bay.
To retain the welding cylinders to the cart, you can use a piece of cheap thin necklace. In my humble opinion, that gives it a better finish.
Sounds like a great idea for your build!
Will for sure be adding a few of them to the stash
Good idea Eddie!
I can't wait to pick this up great job
Thanks Charlie!
Very cool Chris, Thanks buddy!
Thanks man!

I'll build anything.
I just did a Revell this week now that they are back on shelves. I've done Tamiya, Meng, etc too.
I like anything plastic. :)

How do you black wash with enamels

Craft paints, the paints you get at hobbly lobby and Walmart for a buck a bottle or so. Apple Barrel, Ceramcoat, etc.
I just got this kit and have a couple questions how did you do the model car box and will those flames work on the little model car?
You just have to fold the paper and tape it together to make the box.
For the flames, no idea, haven't worked on it in some time but if the flames fit, you can use them.
What do these accessories tool diorama kit cost these days?!
Awesome brother keep up the awesome work
Thanks Thomas!
Looks good. i hope to see these in the background of future videos...
anyone else see the bug at 8:32; sorry, i saw the movement.
Haha, yup, a little baby spider wandered over to check out the work, I noticed it in editing!
This is awesome my friend!
I agree, they were a blast. Looking forward to the next two sets. Set #3 I saw on FB is a car lift!
interesting accessories
thank for this video
Welcome, thanks for watching. :)
@@hpiguy thanks for your comment
At over $70 Australian $, think I will make my own!
This is indeed a superb kit. The only negative part that I can find won't bother anybody that do not speak French, but who ever translate for Round2 should be fed to the Egyptian Royal Crocs! Seriously.
Thanks Chasse!
LOL, I'd never know about the French but I'll take your word for it.
What, no 55 gal drum of oily rags or cigarette butts for the floor?
Awesome video 👍
Thank you Darren!
amazing, love it
Thanks Rik!
That looks great!!!! These kits arent limited are they? And how much did it cost?
Thanks Robert. They are regular kits, I'm sure they'll make a lot. Link for pricing, etc is in the description. :)
Great video 👌👍
Thanks!
Fun kit!!!
It is!
Once again you hit it out of the park.
Thanks a billion Clay!
for sawhorses can use some balsa wood, instead of plastic
Yes, balsa works fine too if you need extras. The kit ones look the part with a little paint and weathering.
@@hpiguy also nice tip for flocking, that works fine for me. After I painted interior hub in a base color I let it dry completely, after that I spray it over with spray glue and them I'm aplayng flocking...
This would be cool for G scale.
Yes, that too.
hmm nice addition for dio builds idk who makes it but have had a model kit garage that had a lift tool box air compressor just a few more parts than this
Thanks Gene. I think a gas service station kit from AMT would be awesome. Let's hope they make one.
Those are neat
Yes they are!
Awesome!
Thanks James!
Mpc used to have diorama racing NASCAR accessories kits anyone remember them?! Auto world scale modeler magazine catalog and h.o. scale cars, tracks and parts accessories i grew up with my dad being a subscriber to them..
Woho thats sweet chirs about to build a friend of mine a dodge dealer ship them tools would go great with my dodge dealer am doing

Meticulous, good job, when they come out with the newer garage kits it'll be hard to wait to see you complete them.
Thanks Icinesis!
great job ,mice looking kit
Thanks!
You should make grage diearama
Hopefully one day!
One more box to buy😁😁😁
A box of fun!
Very cool and enjector marks under neat you will have to be on floor drunk to see ha ha👍lol
Hey!Im on the floor drunk!! Great kit though
Sorry about the unpainted bottom pieces since you can see them from down there. ;)
Funny tool box is new style but other tools are old school.
Watch out for those drunken modelers they are sticklers for details. Gonna have to get this to go with my fujimi kits and my garage.
It's a fun kit!
Not much for$ 45 cdn
