You had me crying when you honored her and got on your knees for her. Actually, I started crying when I felt her desire to please you in doing all the tricks. It's not out of only training with her, she does it because she loves you so much. Since she likes kids so much and people so much, why not take her out to do animal education at schools etc. You know horses are great therapy for autistic children. I can feel your telepathic rapport with each other. Your relationship with her is so special and so incredibly gorgeous.

Watching your face, watching you and Andorra talk to each other ... I could not stop the tears brought on by the beauty of the moment. Then when you bowed in honor of Andorra, I lost it. The tears turned into a river. And I have been watching you and Matt for years, and maybe I am wrong, but I think this was the first time I have ever seen you and Matt hug. This video is magnificent. Michael Brown, so beautifully said, I agree, the world is a better place with Jesse Drent and his love for all animals. Matt and Jesse are sweet in their loving support of each other in their equestrian disciplines. Jesse gave Matt a quick hug of encouragement before Matt's first time performing on Chase at Horse Event in 2018. You can see that in Episode 5 of Chasing the Dream after Matt moved to the Netherlands. In all of his years of riding, Matt had never performed in front of thousands of people, so it was a big deal and Jesse made sure to support and encourage him. It was so nice to see Matt show the same support for Jesse before Andorra's last performance.

Will she stay as fit and flexible if she is totally retired? You know of course that you will need to play applause for her when she does neat things in the future, right? A celebrity if stage, screen and pasture always needs a little fanfare in their day! Thank you for sharing this last performance day with us.

And what a spectacular retirement she'll have, filled with love and all her favorite things! Looking forward to seeing all the future fun you have together. You should be so proud of the partnership you share with each other, the love and respect comes shining through.

I am so glad that there is a such a gentle souled and big huge kind hearted gentleman of a kid with this horse what a wonderful person he uses no whip and no spur or a bit in it's mouth when it had the bridal one he also did not pull yank on the horses head or mouth with the reins either he never even actually hurt it at all unlike how so many other people would of done to their own horses. What these two have is a very strong bond of friendship between man and horse going on here it brings my heart and soul joy to see natural horsemanship with those two in the video with both the pony and the horse both are well loved and taken care of by this kind young man. Why can't many other people in this cold, cruel heartless world do this too with their own animals wether it be a dog or a cat or a bird or horse or a pig or a gunipig or even a hamster and a bunny and so many other animals too. All these poor things all want is to be loved and given affection and kindness by those who own them you know that horse is very extreamly lucky to have such a kind and caring owner for it to even have with it I do so very much hope that this sweet horse would stay with this young kid all of the way to retirement and that it never get's sold to anyone because people who dont even have any kindness or even a heart at all would of ruiened this horse. Cruelity to animals of all kinds or types or sorts is unfortionently popular these day's sad to say the least.

Boy this made me cry. Jesse you are such a sweet kind young man and the what you said is so true. The way to a horses heart is spending time with them. I’m a lady of a certain age now. I have had horses nearly all my life. I am the proud owner of a 22 year old 17.2 Oldenburg. He’s my life. I love him so much. He’s my heart horse. I loved the others but with him there is more of a connection. We started our days together walking out in hand. Me a lot younger, him as a baby. We got to know each other inside out. I know what he wants by his body language and yes he communicates with me and I with him. He’s my baby, but he’s getting older, and we have gone down a gear on lots of things but we still jump and hack and enjoy life, but one day I too will need to retire him. He’s the last horse I will ever own now as I’m getting too old and I want to do other things in life. I dread retiring him as I know it’s the end of my riding career but when he’s ready I will know and I will respect his wishes too. We will finish our life together where it started… in hand walking around the area, but no less connected then we have ever been. Your baby girl will still see you lots, but you knew she was ready and that I can see as you are in tune with her. Best of luck to you both in enjoying her retirement. She’s very lucky to have you

    What an exquisite finalé.
You both seemed so quietly, confidently, content together. The connection you and Andorra share is palpable and so special.
I must say, Andorra looked particularly beautiful and relaxed throughout the video- as if she understood what this all meant to you. She helped you through as only a great partner could.
Thank you for sharing you most treasured moments with us all, I learn so much from watching your gentle approach.
I look forward to seeing your retirement adventures in the forest together.
Edit: Let’s not forget the gorgeous, spunky little Mucho... his delightful personality shines through without fail whenever he is asked to do a walk on cameo.

I had the chance to perform with very first dog at a show when I was 13. We just performed just this one single time, but as all special beings she is still being remembered. Not just by my humble self, but also by people from the neighborhood or rather the area, still people come talk to me and ask, if it was me who owned this one special dog. And I did, and special she was, and special was every single day we had together until her very last almost 10 years ago. She knew countless tricks and she would do them all and more for me and I am glad that I already realized back then how much she honored me with all her love directed just at me and how she would show it to me in every possible way. I can see all of that in you and Andorra. You love each other, no doubt. The true kind. The trust established between the two of you is a connection that will last for eternity, of that I am sure. Thank you for sharing your special day. It was a pleasure to have an insight. You are a fantastic team together. I hope for the two of you that destiny has many more merry days to share with each other for you. Andorra is a magnificent horse. Just beautiful.

When you love a horse so much she shapes everything about you as a horseperson, it can be very hard to imagine yourself doing the same things with your other horses. It doesn't feel the same and maybe you're even scared you won't feel the same passion again as you did working with her all those years. But I think that as she grew in your heart and life, your other horses can grow big like that too. They won't ever replace how important she is to you but they will occupy their own space in your heart, in your work and in your journey as a horseman.
Sometimes I lay awake at night wondering if I'll ever feel the same about my other horses as I do about my mare, who's been with me for the last 20 years. I'm hopeful I will.
Our mares started something immensely important in our lives because of the trouble they gave us and the journey they sent us on. Their working days may be over, but their job as a teacher is never done. Every day you're on the path she sent you on is a new step into your future. I hope you will find the space within yourself to cultivate another love and passion as big as your love for Andorra. The impact she has on your life is forever and she'll always be special because of that.

Oh My Gosh Jesse, you can tell in the very beginning of this video how emotional you already are. I am blinking away tears, myself. 28 years old! I know that so many thoughts are going through your mind. They are going through mine and she isn't even my horse! You have such an amazing soul!
Beautiful. Beautiful. Beautiful! I could write paragraph upon paragraph, . . . . possibly even pages about the feelings that 'I' went through watching this. The feelings that you express through your words, gestures, facial expressions; the feelings that Andora shows (you can see her expressions through her eyes & her body language clearly) to us! Oo-oo-oh the emotions!
The 'Game' face! You did amazingly well! And now it's on to a different path with her! One that the two of you will also enjoy & cherish just as much! 💞
What a precious & beautiful relationship!

Damn. I’m crying my eyes out. I still remember the first time i found your channel. It was 10 years ago, when you and Eva was making a lot of videos toghether.
    I was 11 back then.
I’m 21 now, and as i am watching this video, i’m realizing that so many things i do and say in my day-to-day life is inspired by what i’ve seen you do and say. Not only the way i teach kids to be around horses, but also in my approach to life. To be respectful, patient and curious.
So this really hit me in the feels.
I wish you all the best for the future.
    Kindest regards from Denmark
