I agree with your perspective on staying until the end...respect for others.
Matt, have you ever thought of getting a Friesian stallion, they are beautiful, have super temperaments, can be used for dressage and would be something a bit different from Emporio, would add variety to your stable.
He would be in competition with the Friesian for who looks the best. Lol
Maybe they are too expensive ?
And PRE Andalusians arent?
I think he has a plan in mind. Maybe setting up breeding in Nederland?
CreekValleyCritters unfortunately Friesians have a very short life expectancy compared to most breeds. I’m not sure if this isn’t why he hasn’t considered it but they live for ~16 years when other breeds can live for 25-30. They are so beautiful, it’s unfortunate.

Spanish Horses are my Love! There is something special about them. Yes I totally agree have some respect and stay until the show is finished I think it is disrespectful when people leave early. I hope Jessie had a fantastic Birthday with you. Thank You for sharing.

3:49 - Ignacio!! I met him in Corning CA for a PRE show in June. He sat near me in the bleachers and I had no idea who he was, turns out he's famous in PRE!
I took him with me down to the Horse expo in Sacramento.
Then he came back in august with his lovely daughter to do a morphology clinic. Super person, a wealth of knowledge of the breed providing insight into it's development from his grandfather's era to present.

Thank you so much for this one Matt. Such wonderful horses, and so calm. They don't seem at all fussy, a combination of an ancient breed and a country of knowing horse people. Buying a horse is a bit like finding a partner. You don't go for the one you think you can live with, you go for the one you know you can't live without. So take your time, your perfect horse will find you, and most likely from the most unexpected direction. Tip. Align yourself with one of the Spanish masters, and join his school as often as you can manage, magic will happen, you have the right feel for it.

Love watching your search for stallions. Spain really has beautiful horses for sure. I guess you'll know when the right one comes along. It so wonderful to see how well taken care of they are in such beautiful stables and surroundings. They are wonderfully trained and love to seem them in dressage (sp). PRE are absolut stunning horses. I bought mine for 8.000 € and friends said I would be crazy to spend so much money on just a horse. But it was worth it, absolutely amazing animal (and no; by that I don’t say cheaper horses are bad, I just say that it was a price I was willing to pay for my babyboy)

Who takes care of your horses at your own stable when you’re together on a (business) trip and do you take care of all the stable work etc. by your own if you are at home? :)
Because I think it’s a lot of work every day to clean the stables, feed, take care and train the horses and also take care of the paddocks, riding arena and the whole property etc. if that’s not your only job?

Have so many questions I would love to ask you, but I will try to control myself lol. First of all Thank you so very much for sharing your day with us. It was beautiful, the arena, the people and music just made me so happy. I am part Spanish among other things. But always loved Spanish music. The horses lh my gosh, I was just blown away at just how many there were. I think I would have a big problem trying to make a decision on which one to buy. Question I noticed one horse a sort of whitish grey and it had a bobed tail, I have heard that to accomplish this that they have to break their tails. Is this true? Did you ever get to see the black horse the guy said he had? Or will that be in a follow up video? Either way I hope you 2 have a wonderful time there and that you find what you are looking for. Did Jesse get anything special for his birthday? Again HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESSE AND MANY MORE, you are a very rare and wonderful person. Cant wait to see more great videos, best always Rusty :) :)
