@@problemimentaliI haven't watched the show so I'm just wondering if the writers would have the balls to address this controversial thing, seeing as The Office is a show that is not afraid of tackling these topics for humor
So I've seen the first episode so far and there are definitely many slight differences from the US version which this is mostly copying from. The regional manager Mr.Malik is an amalgamation of both Micheal Scott and David Brent, that he has the buffoonery of Micheal and the douchiness of David. Arab Jim is not charismatic, charming or playful, he comes off more as just stoic and annoyed by arab Dwight's antics. Arab Dwight actually is fine, pretty much similar to the US version but arab. As for the humor...its pretty dry. The first joke in the episode was the boss talking about the suez canal being a strait and it just goes on and on without a single lick of humor. The awkwardness is still there but not the good kind that you laugh at, you just feel secondhand embarrassment because the jokes and antics are just not funny. I've seen many foreign series and drama where I had to read subtitles too and even I get the emotions and humors from those other foreign series. The saudi Office's jokes just doesnt land even on a basic fundamental level. The series might get better with more viewing of other episodes I dunno, it was just honestly dry and dull to watch and you're better off rewatching the US version.
I am so grateful for this review! That's right, The US version is WAYYYYY better than this one, its even embarrassing to see them create an arab version of it tbh
I don’t understand the language, but I will binge watch this shit all day 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Looking forward to see Oscar's version in this
He gets beheaded in the episode they find out he’s gay
@@problemimentaliif I had a nickel for every time someone made this joke...

@@problemimentali also I would only have two nickels. Which is not a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice
One's a anomaly, two's a trend

It gets complicated when one or one group wants to use the others, with politics or religion
Of all the "re-adaptations", this one has the most similar-looking office.
Y’all really better have English subtitles
