You know an exploding ink packet would be a great way of seeing which employees are randomly plugging in "found" usb's into their computers. Great vid.

You can also use micronucleus to get rid of the boot delay and still make it programmable by grounding a pin before boot. No other programmer required.
Tantalum capacitors hooked up in reverse polarity - ancient hardware hak. I did this with VT100 keyboards, connected it to a programmable LED indicator. So, send the escape sequence to light that led, and the keyboard "blew up".

My brother and I spent a completely unreasonable amount of time trying to get the match heads on the floppy disk to work. Totally relate to that.
Just like in Mr. Robot when the FBI agent pulls the usb out and it fries the internal computer and drives.
I used to wonder about ways to destroy one's phone remotely if it had been stolen, like (I"m sure quite illegally) overheating the battery to set it on fire. Reading some of the other comments on here, now I wonder if a saline pack that bursts if you send a kill code would be a better idea. (I realize some manufacturers have remote kill fuses; I'm talking about something under 'hacker' control)

I have something similar, but they are termite charges on drives and memory, so simple flip of a button on case is igniting them... more hardcore version
This reminds me of mission Impossible.... "This message will self destruct in..." You could probably have it activate based on actions. Eg, Ducky or rabbit runs. If successful, nothing happens. If someone interrupts the code, the usb corrupts.
So. Your mission should you accept it... this message will self destruct. Queue IMF theme.

How about a self destructing ducky? Instead of having it go boom, fill it with something like thermite. The idea is that, for whatever reason, you need to leave your duck in place to do its dirty work. Then, when it is done, it fires the igniter and the thermite ignites and it is melted in a 4,000 degree flame. No hope of examining the remains to see what code or data was on it.
It's a ze-ner not a zen-er. Shorting to ground is not very zen like.
Why not benchmark the thumb drive at 8.3v . it will smolder the memory ic the caps being smd wont stink . but you can let the smoke out
There are 8 year old e-cigarettes that plug in to usb (usb pass through mode) have a mosfet and do exactly the same thing. Identical except for form factor. Waited 22 minutes for a bang, nothing.

Wiring up a tantalum cap backwards to the 5v supply would give you a nice little pop with smoke.
Did the floppy disk bomb work? I remember reading how to do it in the anarchist cookbook but never tried it.

Its funny but also not, not to mention the smell of melting plastic is not nice. Learned that the hard way after not attaching a fan to a raspberry pi while using 80% of its CPU for 4 hours in a closed environment.

Soham Ghosh I've been studying to become a pentester since last year without previous knowledge of computers so here my recomendation and hope this help you:
-Learn to use the command line in windows and linux (specially linux).
-Study about networks and protocols, TCP/IP, DNS, etc.
-Learn some programming language (I recommend you python because of it simplicity but is up to you, also make scripts in bash and powershell).
-Study how files systems and OS works (learning digital forensics is good for this).
-After that you will find out how to continue.
-The best resources are books so buy or download some books.

The amount that I relate to many things in this video is why most people don't get me (and many don't trust me).
