I loved the shopping episode where they bought the boat and weapons. It was so fun seeing what they all choose separately and together, it gave a good look into what the characters prioritize. I too don’t trust Zane’s characters 😂 I just want Lydia to be happy!!! Please let Adelphos come back alive just to live on the island with Lydia or something! Apalonia is legitimately THE WORST! I always wondered how she and Lydia got along too! Makes no sense. “Get back on the boat with dum dum” 😂😂😂 Dying!!! The last arc is literally so heartbreaking. I swear the entire time everything was so awesome but so sad and I could hardly handle it. So excited for season 2!!! Can’t wait!!!!
It was so much fun to look back on Season 1. I'm glad that you enjoyed it too! I didn't even think about the shopping episode as a look into the characters, but you are totally right! I so excited for season 2!!! Season one was so awesome, I binged it when I first discovered you guys a couple months ago. I loved watching Cal and thalassa fall in love, and the "promposal" was so cute! Hopefully you find out more about the flower. I am definitely excited to see Zane with his new character, and the dynamic that will bring in to the group. You need a new name though. The Pentamory doesn't work so well right now. Unless you find Adelphos... Please 🥺 I can't wait to see Alandros's new spell in action, that will be so cool. Thanks for a great show!
Awesome recap! So ready for the next season! I just wanted to point out that early on Adelphos was praying on islands to see where he should stay. THE FIRST ONE HE DID NOT PRAY ON WAS THE ISLE OF THE SKYS WITH LYDIA. I’m not mad you’re mad. The whole time I just wanted Theseus to make the right choice and be a good guy and ditch Mogus. Theseus truly has a story equal to a Greek tragedy. I loved Thelassa and Cal falling in love. There were such cute moments and it didn’t feel forced it was so good. Also they are such agents of chaos because they are down to do whatever. Wanna go on a date to the races? Sure. Wanna go get in a fight at a bar? Sure. I love it. The ark where Alondros fights the guy that killed his dad was when I felt like the campaign was starting to get good. I think Tyson’s character made a lot of pivotal decisions and helped steer the party and was a lot of fun to watch. Side note the soap was super funny! Jeff you’re a tricky guy. You help facilitate a good environment with your players and I think that good relationship helps make a rich experience and deep story. Keep up the good work.
Season 1 really was so much fun! It was a great time remembering and talking about a lot of the main events from it! I didn't even catch the whole Adelphos thing though! That is just another reason as to why we should save his soul now. We are super excited to dive back into the world of Theros. We can't wait to get back into these characters and see where it all goes!
I'm pretty sure that our tritons canonically have frills, like a fish. But the great thing is you can always imagine them how you want as well! How do you see Calen and Thelassa?
