I don't believe that the exterior sketch is representative of the next gen ES because that's barely different from the current model. I also refuse to believe that Lexus would be so lazy in updating its best-selling sedan.

Own a Lexus and a Tesla model 3. Love the knobs and dials for climate controls in the Lexus. After a year I’ve become extremely frustrated with having to use the stupid screen menus for climate and especially the wiper controls on the model 3. Will NOT be getting another Tesla because of this especially with the signal controls being on the steering wheel. What are you smoking Tesla. Some RUclipsr should do reaction time video for how long it takes to turn on the wipers or change the climate settings. And let’s see for how long their eyes are looking at the screen instead of the road.😮

This is easily my favorite car I've ever owned, I love most everything about it from styling to comfort, physical controls abound. Yes it's not going to handle like a german car, but it will last forever with this NA v6 and 300HP is plenty, especially when using manual shift in sport mode. It's an absolute joy of a daily driver both on garbage roads and highway stretches. I encourage anyone to at least test drive one when considering sedan options.

Because of the lackluster enthusiasm for sedans here in the USA, it would not surprise me if they don’t do much with it. Also if demand for SUV’s continues even Toyota/Lexus could kill off all their sedans and only offer small to large SUV’s in their line up. I feel like I used to see new Camry and ES300 everywhere driving around Nashville, today I see very few new Camry and even less ES300. I do see RAV4 all the time and even have couple friends who drive them. There is no doubt where the demand is.

My understanding is that none of the current dynamic force engine meet 2027 emissions requirements. I wouldn’t be surprised if the ES debuted the new line of turbo-4s. My guess is we will have an ES350h with 1.5T hybrid as the standard model and a ES400h F-sport with 2.0T hybrid. Or, maybe the 2.0T hybrid as sole power train, but with two different power output (since we already know the 2.0T will have different outputs). The Camry will most assuredly get the 1.5T hybrid as sole power train, so I lean towards the ES having that at least as a base engine option.

The L logo is a good looking logo, its up there with BMW, Mercedes... good god could you imagine if any of them did that crap? Yea Porsche does it but they did it decades ago before all this mess of everyone having that stamped out. Im not a fan.

Lexus and Toyota are too conservative when it comes to their designs. Also I am not a big fan of the big hump in the rear middle floor area of the ES. Nor am I a fan of the RX's 37inches of rear leg room and the sloping rear end design is atrocious as it eats into the rear cargo area. For those reasons the RDX beats it hands down especially when it handles so much better.

would've preferred to see a full redesign as it's now due, or at least a heavy 2nd refresh like how the IS received (all new exterior panels minus the green house). And physical HVAC controls is a GOOD thing that they should've kept.

Test drove the TX350 AWD, 2025 NX350h, and was not impressed at all with the TX. Felt choppy and vibrated a lot.
The NX was extremely impressive except it seems way too “busy”. It is not worth $54600 before tax and fees IMO.
I’m trying to convince the wife to get a Crown Signia or a Highlander Hybrid AWD.
Our 2022 rav4 XSE was hit when someone ran a stop sign the other day. Only had 41k miles and brand new condition. Not a dent, scratch, or mark. I detailed it about once a month.

Old ES interior is way better with physical controls. It's just a trending theme of cost cutting by Lexus, shame...Also, huge mistake removing driving mode knob and gear stick, like the very two things I use the most in my IS300h. This is quite tragic guys.

Lexus is done. Just a few days ago the Central Japan Economic and trade bureau took apart Chinese electric cars and had the car makers come to look at them how to make cars.😂 How is it possible that they are this far behind? They even had the old NIO et5 on display that will be replaced next year and still they were out of their minds how the Chinese can manufacture such good cars.🙈

Hey Kirk now time is to mocking Lexus every day. I don’t know why Lexus is moving way from RWD cars. They are trying to make Lexus cars are more mass market cars like Honda and Toyota with more price. Personally I don’t see extra value on Lexus products compares with higher trim of Toyota ( FWD cars) products. There is no point to get Lexus if Toyota, Honda, Kia and Hyundai have all premium qualities. And most importantly I can’t stand front of rebadged products.

11:17 Epic fail... if thats true id never buy this car. I find myself just leaning towards older cars w/ out all that crap now. Toyota and Lexus support their products meaning you can take any year and make it new again. If you bought it cheap you can afford to "restore" it still being far cheaper than a new one and being better. Not a fan of the touch screen garbage. No tactile feel. Anyone like buttons and switches because of the tactile feel? We don't need 100 we just need a few great ones. Why they don't figure this out is beyond me.

It is so very disappointing that Toyota and Lexus continue to call what is clearly a refresh, a redesign. Cosmetic changes do not constitute a redesign. In fairness, yes, power trains have been changed and there were interior changes, but not much more. A redesign should consist of new sheet metal design from the ground up. Toyota and Lexus have moved far away from that philosophy they once embraced.
