Thank you for not including the score in the title. It really spoils the highlights if you know the score beforehand.
Yeah I agree.
Aye I try to quickly find the first video without seeing one with the score in the title.
Seconded! Very much agree! 👍
I'm so impressed by the way Australia played, their 8th man, Kerevi at 12 was unbelievable.
As a South African this is how you "lose" a test match, they were trying things and it didn't click but are clearly a project in the making under Dave Rennie
Australian rugby...a ''project'' for the last 15 years 😆
what game were you watching? aus got smashed the entire game
@@cybergasm8897 Think he was saying they got smashed trying.

@@patrickkelly7085 Dave Rennie beat us twice last year and is now in a do or die series decider with England.
Australia lost the game but have tangible positives and things to work on, they're on an upward trajectory.
As opposed to kicking the ball away and relying on your forwards to win every game you play.
2 years ago I was saying the same thing about France when Galthie was still building the monster France has become now, but most you goofy fans don't really watch or know rugby.
Very worrying to the rest of us 6N teams seeing Eddie actually picking in form players in their actual positions.
Australian commentators "Thats not a England penalty he only broke the laws a little bit"
The commentator you’re referring to is from New Zealand but ok mate
Both NZ and AUS really need to work on their discipline, making far too many errors to cost them the win
The 3rd test week is gona be great across the board
Man of the match. The ref
Holy shit, they were reffed into that win.
Without those 2 god-awful penalties, Australia is within a penalty, not out by more than a try. That changes so much about your approach.
Hey genius, England conceded a penalty and a yellow card for exactly the same thing.
Also, the penalty was taken from a different spot than where the intentional knock-on was made, so Australia had conceded another penalty anyway.
common theme through all the games this weekend nth hem teams reffed into the win. Coincidence? don't think so. It's to grow interest in the sport in Europe to get more ratings and sell more tickets for the rwc next year in france. That sin bin for the Wallabies 'clear and deliberate knock on' was a horrendous call. Clear and genuine attempt to intercept. Smith's was a fair call.
What the hell is going on with giving out yellow cards for players trying to intercept passes
been the law for several years.
yellow card isn't for the intercept, he's disrupted the play and potentially skewered a try for the English. Lucky it could only be given as a penalty and a yellow card
Those players were NEVER going to catch those interceptions. Whether they were cynical intentional plays, or just foolish instinctive ones, they are illegal. England should’ve been given a penalty try
Full turn around for NZ and Aus this weekend..... well done Eng and Pattys, real hearty rugby! 💯🦾
Agree. They need to play a flawless game and clean it up a bit.
World Rugby should review the deliberate knock on rule ...again before the next World Cup.
It's spoiling rugby.
The 12 minute penalty on Toupo for a clear out in the ruck was softer than a bag of marshmallows.. followed by the deliberate knock down penalty… that pass was a dangerous, lofted and floating cut out pass over two attacking players! Surely the ref has to take into consideration whether the defensive player has the opportunity to make an intercept play at such a risky pass being flung into the air like that... I couldn’t believe that decision.. England were gifted a huge lead with some of those first half nonsense penalties.
Really surprised by the deliberate knock on comment and also by the commentator who said the same thing. I mainly watch Top 14 rugby in France and that incident would be a penalty and yellow card 9 times out of 10. Generally if you go for an intercept with one hand and don't catch it, especially when it is out at the wing, the decision will go against you. Is it refereed differently down under ? The ruck clearout penalty beforehand looked soft I agree, although if referees see a leading shoulder nowadays they can be really picky .
That winger was never going to catch that ball. It should have been an obvious penalty try to England. Ref was too scared to award it
@@MKRM27 what a load of shit. Floating pass absolutely begging for an intercept with his palm facing upwards.

So let me get this straight: the rules are now - if you try your damndest to intercept and catch a ball, but it gets away from you; it is an "intentional knock-on"?!!!!
The rules have been that way for several years now. I don't always agree with it, but it's not a particularly recent thing
Aus should had looked at playing with someone red carded again so the ref can be lenient on them.
You should stop listening to Eddie

@@grahamturner97 I agree. But the whole team lacks fluidity
Wrong on the deliberate knock on... that’s not the law. That’s not what it’s there for. They’re going to ruin interceptions...
Would be nice for the local Yugarapul to have done this, oh well, when you play on the Gold Coast they might be able to come down from Brisbane to do it, who won again?
The Northern Hemisphere refs and officials certainly help a lot with the outcome of matches !
One way to get NH dominance , right !! 🤔🧐

Yup, 100% it’s a purposeful plan, so blatant, sell more tickets to a 3 rd game
You only have yourselves to blame for the losses, not the refs. England should have had a penalty try, ABs should have been down to 13 men. Refs got those key decisions wrong, England and Ireland would have won by greater margins.
a lot needless penalties given away by Australia, but the referee was also terrible and gave away 2 wrongful penalties. An attempted interception is not a deliberate knock on ffs!
Referees decide who wins.
Well done England. Always winning by penalty kicks

@@grahamturner97 for intercepting a pass in order to score a try.
@@varuninnz If you go for an interception one-handed and miss it that's a penalty. If you go for an interception one-handed and miss it and deprive the opposition of a linebreak opportunity it's a yellow card and has been for at least a season or two, maybe more. Law was changed to stop speculative interception attempts that were stopping attacking opportunities.
As for England "always winning by penalty kicks" - how about not infringing in kicking range, disrupting English attacks?
Marcus smiths tackling is that of a touch rugby player at best. We won but it’s typical kicking England. Boring!! Eddie jones is a great guy and good coach but would be better suited in the league, not in the international sides. We need more flair
Well, if the opposition keep giving penalties away do you not think the boot and three points is enough ?
Ou watch this game and the IRL-NZ one and yet again, the result is entirely driven by calls from the ref: now you cant attempt to intercept or you’ll get a yellow card. Likewise some of the missed contacts without any deliberate use of shoulder but just awkward result in red cards. This game has gone crazy. No wonder I watch more NRL than union despite having only played union ever
Referring on the weekend has been terrible and embarrassing. Rugby is gonna lose bums on seats an eyes watching the game because of this.
It's clear that Australia could be won in this game; the referee helped to win england. The old style still exists!!!
When my ABs team got red carded I was like yuss it our now. Cos Eddie Jones said when a team gets red carded the referee gets lenient on them all the time. I guess the ref of the ABs Ireland ga8did not get this memo.
Ian Foster the "Boris Johnson" of Allblack coaching
He let one red go with the hit on Hansen also could of awarded a penalty try to Ireland as well. NZ just got reffed for a change.
There is always a penalty waiting for England...
Nah, just Aussie indiscipline.
It was poor decision by referee that determined the outcome of this game. Very poor refereeing
I’m not an England supporter but at 1:55 how is that not a penalty try?? If the Aussie that attempted the interception wasn’t there, nobody else could have defended the try. Correct me if I missed something. Are Aussie commentators getting even more biased?
That was Andrew Merhtens from NZ
It should have been a penalty try to England
Northern Hemisphere looking good this weekend.
i seldom watch rugby but to me the game is just rediculous 10 min in the bin for minor infractions.
abusulatly disgraceful reffing he shouldnt be allowed to ref world rugby
They really need to do away with the 'deliberate' knock on rule. If someone misjudges a pass to the point you can get a hand to it it should be fair game.
It's a good law, if they didn't have it so many try-scoring opportunities would be lost to ball being slapped down. You can go for an interception, just got to get both hands to the ball.
Poms did play better . The Bois fought back hard. No shame here
The Ref was a little meh, but what's new?
Yellow card on Parese was ridiculous (and I am English).
Go for the ball with one hand and that's what you get. Should have been a penalty try too.
If officials can’t do their job properly they shouldn’t have one.
Rugby can be very boring when there’s this many penalties.
Disagree. The penalties show a teams dominance over another. If you don’t understand or appreciate that, maybe this isn’t the right sport for you
Penalties are getting out of control
That’s because Australia can’t cope with the pressure that England were exerting on them. That’s how it works
tenk yu
These commentators are hilariously bad
Was that really an intentional knock on?
Yes, if you go for the ball with one hand and fail to intercept it's always deemed deliberate. England should have had a penalty try, ref got it wrong.
Aus were England's bch for all of 36mins
A yellow for dropping an intercept attempt???
Yes, went one handed which is always considered deliberate if you don't make the catch. It's a yellow because it prevented a line break. It should have been a penalty try.
England will take the series.
Rugby is all about the reff and silly decisions it's starting to get real annoying.

The TMO was horrific, why an irish referee would be so wholeheartedly behind England, going so far as to ensure their win was diabolical. The ref was awful and clearly went out with the intent of helping England. The NZ / Irish game reffing was even worse. Even the SA wales game, the best reffed game of the day, had a couple of real clangers.

Sorry, I'm not that familiar with all the Rugby rules: what were the Australian and the English player binned for? Are you obliged to catch the ball when trying to intercept it, rather than just tip it forward?
If you hit the ball with no intention of catching it you get binned, but if it looks like you are making an effort to catch it’s just a knock on. Both the cards were the players trying to catch it with one hand, so the dumbass TMO thought they had no intention of catching it and said it’s a card
