    Hi, I am a karaite Jew you’re story is inspiring I just discovered you I am wondering if I should convert to Islam I am scared to be rejected by the Muslim community and I feel like I might be doing something wrong or betraying someone it feels like giving away a part of me that’s why I still don’t know what to do.

      Have faith in Allah, He will never let His sincere servants down, I think you might be wondering that by coming to Islam, you're turning your back to Moses(pbuh) and the Hebrew prophets, but believe me this is not true, this is from shaitan, a Muslim must believe in, love and revere all the prophets and the Torah that was given to Moses(pbuh).

      And insha Allah , Allah guided you to the straight path.

    Trousers were more prevalent in women in nomadic society because they had to ride horses (and wearing skirts isn’t modest on horses). Shalwar (wide Persian trousers) has been part of Islamic female clothing for a long time, especially in Turkic countries.

    Assalamu alaykum sister, mashallah, amazing video. Before Islam I've studied a lot Torah and judaism.
    About the modesty in Islam: in a explanation of Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) he told about the evidence in the Qur'an of witch parts of the body should be covered in a woman, that all the woman is awrah and that she should cover completely except one eye or both to see the way.
    Also if you look at the history of muslim countries you'll see that the face covering has been common before colonization.

    Assalamualaikum.. what interesting is, historically Christianity comes in between Judaism and Islam.. and from the the same lineage and somehow it defers greatly from both Judaism and Islam.. but Judaism and Islam has a lot of similarities.. .. just something to ponder 🤔 ohh and i saw one documentary on TV that showed Judaism Funeral.. also looks similar..

    • @senasezer422
      @senasezer422 Год назад +4

      Yup thats something that draws my attention too. But the thing is Christianity unfortunately has become a religion where the only difference between them and atheists is that they believe in God nowadays, for most Christians at least. You dont really see religion in their lives.

    Thank you sister 😊 I'm a muslim (born and raised) and I wanted to know more about Judaism to understand more my own religion and why Allah (God) said certain things in the Quran about other religions and also to understand better other people since I live in a non I'dlike to add that, Fasting during the month of Ramadan is mandatory (one of the 5 pillar of Islam) to remember the poor and all
    We can also fast on the day of Arafa (the day before Aid al adha), 2 days for Achoura (this day is celebrated by jews also), mondays, Thursdays and more for various purposes but mostly to ask for forgiveness and for Allah's face (meaning not for some particular reason but to be able to see Allah's face in Jennah). So we don't have to fast if it's not Ramadan but it's encouraged to do that if we can.
    Thanks again for the video. It was interesting and good to know information!

    We also have the same notion of Tahara / purity of our deaths! The way we ritually wash them and cover them before putting them in the grave to rest until the next life.
    It’s amazing the similarities from being born (circumcision) till death (ritual purification) between these beautiful religions. No doubt Allah commanded us as the 6 pilars of Faith to believe in the previous books 🌷

    Actually, in Shia Islam, we believe that all sea food are prohibited/Haram except the fish that have scales, similar to the Jewish people, there is actually a Wikipedia list of these fish meant for Jewish people and Shiite muslims. We believe that there is a Hadith from Imam Ali AS telling muslims to eat only fish that have scales. This is what we believe Islam teaches, with all due respect to our Sunni brothers and sisters.

      @@mohammedmostapha5887 That is wrong with all due respect, the word Shia came from the prophet PBUH and the prophet said in Ghadir Khom: "Whoever I am his Master, Ali is his Master". Shia muslims don't want to destroy sunni Islam, we just want to follow the prophet PBUH.

    Mashallah sister 3:55 you do not wear pants on this modern world where other thing is pulling people towards nakedness you choose to be modest, I WILL PRAY TO ALLAH MAY ALLAH GIVE HIGHEST AND HIGHEST AND HIGHEST OF JANNAH AMEEN

    It’s not true that pants are for men as many cultures had pants with long too. That’s why Islam is silent on specifically what that means because it’s up to us to decide as a society. I mean men in my culture wear a “skirt” if you want to translate it but it’s culturally for men. They aren’t imitating women. The idea is to ensure gender differences in society regardless of how we dress

      It’s called an izzzar not skirt. She is right, pants are not really modest, especially when you sit down or bend., Both men and women should avoid wearing tight clothes.

      No point trying to justify it. We can’t change the religion to fit in with society, unless it has nothing to do with Islam of course. Trousers are masculine and not modest for men and women. Better to avoid these things.

      If your infront of non mahram or public then have to be full hijab and abaya and face veil and their is a small opinion face and hands can show. Underneath, you can wear anything. But naturally infront of family you dress decently, not walking around in a bikini. Trousers are not forbidden but I just find them not practical, like when you bend down, skin shows which is not good. I do not think men should wear them, some are too tight even for a man. Men are required to dress modestly too, not too tight clothes and generally to pray, something easy to pray in

    The reason why Judaism is stricter is because, they ended up making it difficult for themselves(reference: Al-Baqara). You've also forgot to mention that only the front or upper half of a calf, is deemed kosher, and not the lower, or back half. Rabbit I believe is also non Kosher, but I don't remember.

    Thank you sister for letting us know these things, which I think are natural and expected since both Tora and Qur’an came from the same source: the Almighty God (Allah).

    Yep, there are many similarities, but also many important differences. My list of top 10 differences:
    (1) Jewish people believe the Torah was revealed by God on Mt Sinai to all Jews, whereas Muslim people believe the Quran was revealed by the angel Gabriel to Mohammed only who then shared the new religion with his immediate companions;
    (2) No human being is perfect in Judaism, whereas Mohammed is supposed to be perfect and "holy" to the point where it is prohibited to even draw him;
    (3) Non-Jews who are righteous will most likely deserve a place in "the world to come" in Judaism (at the very least, there's no eternal hellfire for non-Jews), whereas all non-Muslims are automatically destined to hell for eternity in Islam;
    (4) As per Judaism, prophets should not be bringing people to a new religion... God is perfect and won't suddenly decide "oops, we made a mistake, let's change the rules," whereas in Islam, Mohammed changes practically all the rules... and Jesus before him too;
    (5) In Judaism, you always remain a Jew... even if you change your religion. In Islam, you become filth destined to hell if you abandon your religion;
    (6) In Judaism, you don't force or even proselytize to people to convert to your religion, whereas in Islam, "Jihad" is encouraged to spread Islam... you actively seek to convert others, even by force if necessary;
    (7) In Judaism, each nation is protected by an angel and has a general territory allotted to it, whereas in Islam, there's only room for the Muslim nation... Muslims want to spread Islam everywhere so that eventually, there is only one world-wide Islamic state. No more Christians, no more Buddhists, no more Hindus, no more Jews... just Islam;
    (8) Islam is about submitting to God. Judaism is about struggling WITH God. (Emphasis on "with");
    (9) In Islam, faith is really important. You can't go to heaven without it. In Judaism, fluctuations in faith are normalized. It doesn't mean you're no longer a Jew;
    (10) In Islam, promises of the afterlife are extensive. This current life is not that important in comparison to the afterlife. In Judaism, we need to focus on this life. This life is very important. There is no precise mention/promise of an afterlife, though several prophets have spoken about a "world to come."
    BONUS: In Islam, the Shaytan is evil... almost a sort of anti-God figure who will end up in hell. In Judaism, the Shaytan is an accuser but works for God. Everything, good or bad, comes from God.
    Just a few differences I can think of off the top of my head. It's important people understand both the similarities and the differences.

      This is full of so many fallacious statements!!! Every one of these statements can be debunked using references from the Bible or the Qur'an! Jews has massacred Gentile people for not being monotheists right after appearing in the Holy Land, and the Maccabean's forced the Idumeans to become Jewish by force after coming g in power. There are so many examples that can be given
