Karolyn what a great video. How you and the other MFT ladies came up with all this is beyond me. The mechanics are simple enough but the card was very involved. But I LOVED it. I just think I would have to sit down with someone like you to walk me through making a card that is so involved. I adore the card and would like to see some other cards that the loop slots die could be used for. Thank you for sharing such an adorable card!!!! You Rock!!!
Adorable card! So glad you created a double slider die-namic! I can think of many ways to replicate this card using things I already own to include other animals! Can’t wait!
awesome! I'm not discouraged by the amount of products you used, it is after all the company demonstrating their products for us in this video. Yes it's tempting to buy everything, i want it all but can't afford it all, but you can buy the things you really want and create or use alternatives for the rest. I think the card is adorable and the products from MFT are super fabulous quality and worth every cent (in Australia they cost more and I happily pay for the quality). thanks for the awesome demo
Karolyn wow this is amazing. I am so not surprised that you helped design this die set. You are QUEEN of interactive cards 😀 I love this set. Amazing job. You go girl 😀❤️
I agree with Robin Schaefer's comment ! Not everyone can buy all the stamps or dies and none is saying if you can get these items in a local store ! I love the cards everyone makes . we just some advice on the cost of items .
Really cute idea...but you might want to try making cards with fewer "die sets" If someone wants to replicate something like this and doesn't own previous dies, we are talking EIGHT die sets (probably over $100) and two stamps sets $20-$30 PLUS the cost of the matching die sets). This can be very discouraging for someone either starting out or someone on a limited budget who simply cannot afford to spend over $100 on supplies to make one card. Please take this into consideration. We all love to increase our stash..please make it easier for us without the temptation to overspend what we don't have.
I disagree..you can completely recreate this card with other options. You can use different animal images...use a circle/punch die for the slider slot, cut and create your own grass border, use woodgrain cardstock or paper, you don't even need a banner die cut a strip of paper and cut the flag ends.....the list goes on …..
I love watching your videos for inspiration. It is a great challenge for me to try and recreate the scene with the supplies I do have and try and see what I can use from my stash that might workout just as well if I don’t have all the dies and stamps. I do understand that you are also trying to promote MFT products that are fabulous, and I love learning about all cool products and techniques. I can still enjoy the videos even If I am not going to buy all products featured in them. Love MFT products and videos.
Tanya Sarnowski And THAT was at least part of my point....lol Remember..people who are new to card making aren't going to know or know HOW to do all the substitutions you mention. Sometimes those of us who have been doing this for many years can forget that.
Wow...are you keeping track of how much it would cost to make this card? WAY too many dies used, I'm actually pretty disappointed by your lack of concern for our budgets.
