3:10 that guitar solo.. what combination of effects and pedals can pull that kind of sound off... That's wicked.
Also why I came to the comments! If you haven't heard his guitar work on their version of Maneater, though, you're truly missing out on his skills.
Ever figure out what crazy pedals are going on here?
tons of reverb, delay, and I think that maybe he's using some kind of ring modulator or a synth emulator.

Damn I wish I could take you with me through all their French vids
I always thought of this song as a test of breath control when trying to sing along with it.
I had it down for over a decade between end of high school (peak of band skills) and and needing a song that took my concentration away from my first couple of jobs (that wasn't metal shouting/screaming that would tear up my voice).
I was very excited to see someone else attempt it!
I'm surprised you did so well with only a couple of weeks of practice. :)
Great Job!
This is probably the best cover version ever made of any song. Totally made it their own while keeping the vibe. The last section when it unleashes to pure funcky souly goodness gives me tingles. Such a tight band and amazing vocalist.
That's just silly

Stunningly superb. Rarely do I replay a new song ten times in a row. The energy and utter joy coming from each member of the group is simply intoxicating.
There are no words to describe how much i miss Daft Punk and you have so seamlessly filled that void in my life. Hugs and kisses. Thank you so much wonderful voices of joy.

@@arothmanmusic dude. I choked on my own spit I laughed so hard. 😂🤣😂😂 reply of the century.
Sounds like some sort of synth-pedal combo, with a bit of glide to get that wobbly glissando between notes.
Amazing vocal performance on those incredibly difficult lines! This must be some pop music equivalent of Mozart's "Queen of the Night" aria in classical music. Great job, very expressive despite the technical challenge, and great musicality from all the band.
Wow! Just wow. How did they manage to pull that off. Sick basslines, so good arrangements, and vocals from a different universe
It was the French she abuse's her power all the time/
AMAZING, I discovered this band TODAY and I'm in love, tottally in love, with their sound!!!! amazing cover, amazing musics, amazing everything
you are insanely brilliant. I lost my mind at 2:05 when you pull off the original melody but then the drums come in at 2:13 and my pulse is rising once more and i think. Womeeeeen this track is already pretty sick BUT BUT NOOOOO. At 2:22 you just flip the table and put extra beats inbetween and i can't handle the awesomness anymore! That's it! You guys are genius and you made my day and probably my weeks. Is there a physical copy i can maybe buy of this to support you guys and put it on my shelf?

It's ok but the song is made to be sing with the autotune. I know that is more simple but if you don't have a robotic voice the song sucks
@@guarcellos2984 More than 114k people disagree with you, the song clearly does not "suck". You're entitled to your own opinion, obviously, but your comment seems less opinion and more just a rude dismissal.
You forgot this my guy 2:33
@@ceciliaxx sorry I shouldn't say that the song sucks, I should say that I prefer the original because I prefer the robotic voice of Daft Punk. :) Bye
At least as far as RUclips is concerned you guys have managed to get together quite a lovely community that is drawn to one or more of your personalities expressed in the way you perform. From our unique singer's voice and concentration, wide eyed grooving bassist, fight for your life keyboard/pianist, precise yet chill drummer and (my personal favorite) permanent stank face guitarist, not to mention all of the engineers and behind the scenes artists making these performances possible.
Best of luck Jack and Nataly, Really digging the lineup you've got together right now.
Maikel Cardeño yay it's in words!
4:18, "...and then I run out of breath." Tenacious D "Inward sing" it! It'll work.
The camera should just stay on keys. Those faces he makes. THOSE FACES!
Every time I watch this (which is far too much), I wish I could smash that like button more than once. This is my favorite cover of a great tune, often covered. :)
Their music is amazing, but what I find incredible is the CRISP SOUND of EVERYTHING! I rarely hear music with this kind of sound quality.
Nataly, every once in a while you surpass yourself and it's always a higher level. This is incredible work. Kudos to you and Nahneen Kula and Jack and the band. You guys just don't take prisoners!
WAAAAIIIIIITTTTTTTTTTT is the guy on keys the CEO of Patreon????!!!!
Yes, indeed....Patreon was actually created (by Jack) so that he and Nataly could get paid for Pomplamoose without having to sign with a record label.
@@audiomagi Clever folk them guise.
After going down the Pamplamoose rabbit hole on RUclips, it took me 5 clicks to discover this little nugget of info, and then my head exploded. This is one of the most amazing couples on the interweb, and considering I just found out about them 2 weeks ago, I will venture to say one of the most understated as well.
Incredible musical talent to boot.
Holy shit.
Come on, every kindergardener knows that nowadays!
Such excellent pitch control. I'm impressed, hard song to sing! Excellent rendition all around!
Goddddd I looove your Daft punk covers!
I can't even!
They are just all so raw and pure and just filled with talent and passion!
Thank You!
Any plans to cover "Around The World" too? If so, I might have the lyrics for you 😂
Goosebumps already during the intro. You guys are amazingly tight, and the mixing and sounds are .... beyond. And then the singing starts - I can't even. Solid talent.
OK so I am a 45-year-old male and I really love Daft Punk but you guys totally just reinvented the wheel.
I’m sorry I’ve heard a lot of covers but this is not a cover this is a sequel this is an homage! Absolutely fabulous I I I hear it in my dreams sometimes it is the thing in my step when I’m walking I’ve been listening to this for quite a while and my God you guys announce something in there
Well said.
I agree. If you really wanna see something wild check out Scary Pockets' cover of this track
I enjoy this more than the original, not a huge daft punk fan.
"Enough cameras on Nataly?"
"Naaaaaaaah!"
tallaussiebloke in fairness, she deserves the attention because her performance in this is no joke
Truly living in the golden age of Pomp.
Yes, yes, yes! I love this. I love that you guys have done so many songs off of this album. Any plans to do Face to Face at some point?
Anthony McClinton, jeez, I really wish they covered that one!
Finding this band, years after the fact, is still my highlight of 2023.
I was like: how is she going to sing that almost 40sec no-breathing part?
Then when it came i was like: Jesus this girl has never touched a cigar in her life! WTFH is this!
You guys totally slayed that song!
Where's the non breathing part?

There are several cuts and it also doesn't really sound continuous.

These guys are really good. Love her voice and the big smiling beard wearing a hat behind the keyboard just gives the whole thing that feel good factor
The moment at 0:16 and a bit when the drums come in, and the bass drum is *so* synched with the bass, makes me so happy. I knew immediately this was going to be dope.
Everone here talking about how they nailed the vocals of the song and I'm here like still not over how naturally they pulled 0:32 off.

@@RWEaurelius Yes... i am absoltely fine. Thanks.
Hans Dampf uh, okay?
@@RWEaurelius He is right. This is not the best song to show her "vocal skills." It would've been better if her voice was autotuned (voice boxed) to shit like the OG song.
I don't really like this cover of the song. Sure, her voice is better than a normal human being's, but it would be really plain if the backing vocal wasn't there.
That’s funky as hell.
I love myself for playing this for me!🎶🎶🎶💃
Natalie is making it more difficult to convince my girlfriend that she's NOT a talented singing robot/android.
Guitarmonade to be fair that’s how I feel every video. :p
Let the robots have their way with us
In your girlfriend's defence there's vocoder stuff going on, but I'm hands down convinced if you listen to pomplamoose and you think she can sing then she's got a set of pipes on her
Many opera singers do similar type of singing with breathing techniques. It’s called being a professional and there are levels.
Ugh, I know.
You know a singer is good if they use their hands to control their voice
It is a "thing"& I don't exactly know why. Many who do it are from a jazz or blues singer background & it just adds some body movement to their art. Maybe it helps them focus & feel more free and when the singer(s) are good, I like it...
FlatlandMando it’s called kinesthetics! it’s proven that doing certain motions while you sing help you hit the right notes!
@@oliver-bv5rj Maybe some day I can learn it, or improvise it
This is so good, the vocals and instruments are amazing and the camera transitions are just perfectly on beat like when it has 2/4 boxes at a time and after a few beats those views switches to another and it's just..... a true masterpiece
Jesus those vocals...
This was so necessary. Daft Punk and Pomplamoose. What an incredible combination.
