Her speech may sound slow and simple, but she is trying to make herself understood in English. That attitude is what counts. We are proud of her and her performance.
You can see how much more difficult it is to speak it than it is to understand it spoken to you, that's how it goes with any language. Japanese to English and vice versa is supposed to be extremely difficult in the beginning but she seems over that first hurdle now. Seems a smart young woman with warm personality, no wonder she is popular.
I think that beyond pronunciation, picking the most apt words to express yourself is difficult to teach and Yui’s wording is perfect. Timing doesn’t matter nearly as much as the ability to get your feelings across comprehensively. Even with the pauses it seems truly effortless to me. Never been my strong suit haha but it really gives me the drive to learn other languages. Language shapes how you think, and helps you to better understand how others feel.
Yui is a lovely girl and really good footballer, who is extremely popular at City .. the City players and supporters love her ..... it's great to hear that she wants to stay.

These days there are a few dedicated Japanese restaurants in Manchester central(see trip advisor for best examples). I'm no expert on Japanese food but I believe there are many different styles within it and styles within styles sometimes. It seems to be a lot of Sushi, Teppanyaki/grill ect. There's a few Ramen Noodle Bars but not nearly enough IMO and that goes for Greater Manchester in general. They all seem to be eat-in only so no take-out which I assume a busy footballer would prefer. Maybe the club could help her out with that if she asked, they really look after their players for things like that. They could make a video of it like they did for Kovacic and Gvardiol and Nunes with their country's style of cuisine in Manchester. I'd be interested in that for sure.
