Why didn't they ask the same directors to make a Batman film. It would have been the best Batman movie ever. It would have been better than any of the Nolan Batman films. I mean Sin City is almost exactly like Gotham. Rotten, stuffed with criminals, corrupt police officers, judges and politicians, unstoppable maniacs etc. The way the whole concepts was created was crying outloud for Batman. Even the black and white imagery of the film would have suited the Batman so well.
Movies are not only about visuals. There has to be a compelling story and fully developed characters. It can look gorgeous but if the story sucks then what is the point?
