But they didn't ask anything about this Directly to Karnataka 2)we are not getting enough water for agriculture thats true.but in many places DMK is using their power and taking a lot of sand from kaveri(Trichy). 3)why tamilnadu isn't building small dams to save excess water?we know that during rainy seasons we are releasing all the waters into ocean. ie)we don't have enough dams 4) Coming to chennai A lot of politicians especially DMK n ADMK support real estate people and they are constructing homes and selling these lands which is really dangerous. Chennai had lot of lakes. But now there is a lot of occupied the space and constructed homes. And drainage wasn't properly constructed and maintained as they are looting. 5) because of this the water is stagnant in chennai If they remove all of these occupied areas. Then the lakes water will be sufficient for chennai.

I'm B'Cubean from Bangalore. Everytime when there's Cauvery issue, here People's ordinary life goes on a toss. It clearly shows the Political games happening keeping this as an issue. At the end of the day farmers are being effected from this. It's a clear evidence of useless politics. Through the years we never see these activists stretch out their helping hands to farmers. But I wonder how all of a sudden this creates such huge conflicts between two states and spreads hatred.
Kannadiga never object Cauvery water distribution to Tamilnadu. There some Telugu politicians are still interested to make issues with Tamil and Kannada people. Example Vattal Nagaraj.

But we missed to connect with nature and protect the biodiversity. It is evident that Karikala Cholan built the dam to distribute the water to various channels and in return it not only improved the food production via farming lands but also developed the healthier new ecosystem. Chola Kingdom understood the importance of biodiversity and that is key quality ever human being should have. We are being manupulated and diverted to think like a selfish human beings because of the misguidance by the uneducated or uncivilized politians and we forget to understand that we gonna use these water for food production which are getting shared among these states (Kerala, Andhra, Karnataka and Tamizhnadu) and we can also improve countries economy. We should also be aware that contribution of agriculture to GDP rose to 19.9% in 2020-21, up from 17.8% in 2019-20 and it is keeping growing due to youngsters started to choose organic farming having a great person Nammazhvar (Environmental Activist) in their mind. If we let the farmers and environmentalist, I meant the real farmers who don't have any political background and who produce food for selfless intention should form a common association including farmers from these states to decide the amount of water they need for irrigation and save biodiversity to live a healthier life.

Hi Bro, good day to you. Correct me if I'm wrong. If I'm not mistaken, Ex-CM Kamaraj was the last CM in Tamil Nadu to take the initiative to build dams. During my visit to TN , I noticed many rivers and dams do not maintain. I believe it is the people responsible to ensure the right government in place to provide enough water for the people. TN is a blessed land... it's solely on people's hand❤
Understand the geography of tn you will know why no dam is build, rivers are maintained in delta regions if you visit these areas. Yes, in many places rivers are not maintained properly but they are not related to cauvery. But during the last government rule they said they will build 10,000 check dams but check dams can't be build wherever we can because the soil need to be perfect otherwise it will be toppled.
Hi Bro, TQ for your reply. I believe there are suitable sites in TN for building dams....at least if they could be built 4 nos - N/E/S/W may provide enough water for people's consumption and farming. Farmers' issue is the most worrying matter, not only in TN but the entire world...with the current GMF and GEF kind of food, I'm not sure what the next generation going to be...look like...I notice there are many educated people who started to get involved in agriculture but the numbers are small and with a lack of "senior @ experienced farmers" the challenges are tough to create traditional kind of food rather than so-called organic food. But the ultimate is enough water. Studying the rain downfall trend for the next few years and finding ways to save water helps. Or they could opt for reclaimed water...with well-established industrialists and a highly educated population with an engineering background, I believe Tamil Nadu can sustain its own water storage/supply without depending on others...It's all again in the hands of the people to choose the right people to lead them.

We are being manupulated and diverted to think like a selfish human beings because of the misguidance by the uneducated or uncivilized politians and we forget to understand that we gonna use these water for food production which are getting shared among these states (Kerala, Andhra, Karnataka and Tamizhnadu) and we can also improve countries economy. We should also be aware that contribution of agriculture to GDP rose to 19.9% in 2020-21, up from 17.8% in 2019-20 and it is keeping growing due to youngsters started to choose organic farming having a great person Nammazhvar (Environmental Activist) in their mind.
If we let the farmers and environmentalist, I meant the real farmers who don't have any political background and who produce food for selfless intention should form a common association including farmers from these states to decide the amount of water they need for irrigation and save biodiversity to live a healthier life.
We were in coorg during the protest on Friday. We also saw good people and people who are spoiled by media and politians.

Hi Bro, good day to you. Correct me if I'm wrong. If I'm not mistaken, Ex-CM Kamaraj was the last CM in Tamil Nadu to take the initiative to build dams. During my visit to TN , I noticed many rivers and dams do not maintain. I believe it is the people responsible to ensure the right government in place to provide enough water for the people. TN is a blessed land... it's solely on people's hand❤
Understand the geography of tn you will know why no dam is build, rivers are maintained in delta regions if you visit these areas. Yes, in many places rivers are not maintained properly but they are not related to cauvery. But during the last government rule they said they will build 10,000 check dams but check dams can't be build wherever we can because the soil need to be perfect otherwise it will be toppled.
Hi Bro, TQ for your reply. I believe there are suitable sites in TN for building dams....at least if they could be built 4 nos - N/E/S/W may provide enough water for people's consumption and farming. Farmers' issue is the most worrying matter, not only in TN but the entire world...with the current GMF and GEF kind of food, I'm not sure what the next generation going to be...look like...I notice there are many educated people who started to get involved in agriculture but the numbers are small and with a lack of "senior @ experienced farmers" the challenges are tough to create traditional kind of food rather than so-called organic food. But the ultimate is enough water. Studying the rain downfall trend for the next few years and finding ways to save water helps. Or they could opt for reclaimed water...with well-established industrialists and a highly educated population with an engineering background, I believe Tamil Nadu can sustain its own water storage/supply without depending on others...It's all again in the hands of the people to choose the right people to lead them.
We all say that we are well educated and super power as a human being in this world. But we missed to connect with nature and protect the biodiversity. It is evident that Karikala Cholan built the dam to distribute the water to various channels and in return it not only improved the food production via farming lands but also developed the healthier new ecosystem. Chola Kingdom understood the importance of biodiversity and that is key quality ever human being should have.
