Two ways 1. You can send your ecu’s to femto and it takes days to and back. 2. you can clone the ecu. However, you need two sets of ecu’s, you can do it in the same day if you have both in hand. ECU cloning is mostly to deal with car emission tests and warranty, because they will not detect your tune and turn you away. With cloned ecu’s you can put the one running stock map into the car whenever you need to pass emissions or warranty and just slap the cloned one back in right after.
Yes, DME gets shipped out to Femto in Finland for the unlock. We than use either MHD or BM3 to flash your vehicle. You just need the app on your phone and a WiFi adapter.
How well does bootmod3 integrate with motiv reflex controller or jb4 (backend flash), in comparison with other flash tuning platforms like Mhd. I know that mhd works well with motiv reflex controller to the point where if something wrong happens with the car, dme cuts boost and motiv reflex cuts fueling almost as if both "controllers" know what the other is doing.
This is a good video, for the audio is actually like a realistic sound that I can remember
Great video keep it up !
The only way in the world to

what are the mods with it?
Can you remove a soft limiter with bootmod3?
I'm pretty sure you could. If you could remove a top speed limiter with flash tuning, you most certainly could remove a soft limiter.

Why not run it in dyno using 2wd from the menu?
That won’t work on Dyno, car needs to be in dyno mode.
